Milton got me through calculus in high school, legitimately the most athletic, driven and intelligent dude I’ve ever known. And he really is that cool in real life. Amazing dude. He legit could have probably played D1 football or basketball as well.
As a PharmD that rounds with attendings, residents, students, etc, I must say that the way he was able to explain things in an understandable manner to the average, everyday person with no medical field background was incredible. There were a couple times you could tell he was about to go into a deep biological, anatomical, and physiological explanation, but caught himself and held back because he knew his audience, which speaks to his great bedside manner. I've seen countless physicians speak medical jargon to patients who have no clue what was just said after the attending leaves the room.

I was given Dilaudid in the ER once and I'll never forget it. I felt it move through my body in a warm rush and for the first time fully understood how people get addicted to drugs. It was such an incredible experience that I hope I'm never given it again.
I love this for Milton’s patient’s. Clearly he provides top notch medical care but on top of that, he is an example to follow and someone with a story and a background that is real. What a top notch guy.

I had a grade three pilon fracture in december last year. I had 2 different x-fixes on. My pt is going great now. Following you and your story has helped a lot. I ve been a fan of yours for year. This has been very interesting to listen too. My surgeon is based out of Ypsilanti and my PT went to school at eastern michigan. Hope every thing goes well for you and I can tell you have a great dr.
I've never experienced a traumatic injury but I feel this pod is an important thing to hear. Dr. Little is awesome! I hope I have someone like him around in my time of need. Healthcare workers of all kinds are saints and it takes a special person to put themselves into that environment and take control.

The orthopedic surgeon that helped husband from his hunting accident was a Saint! He really helped us through the transition from having his leg amputated above the knee. Thank you for all you guys do. Your job is NOT easy
I am a PT and work in a rehab facility with patients who have had strokes, spinal cord injuries and brain injuries. Talk about complete personality/outlook changes after that. Glad you had Dr. Little on, what a great perspective on our healthcare system

This is such fascinating conversation. I broke and dislocated a humerus in 2013, and then broke the other side clavicle in 2018. I had my same surgeon for both operations, here's to Tom never needing Dr Milton again!
