  • Struggling with a sense of self-worth is commonplace for a Witcher. So take a seat by the fire and let Geralt of Rivia give you a few pointers on how to effectively respond to your own self-criticism.

Funny enough geralt is the type that would sit by the fire by himself and tell himself all this

Interesting. This confirms for me that the games hired the right guy to set the tone for Geralt's voice forever after. Very calming.

This monologue doesn't only convey listening to your inner critic. This also implies developing your self-awareness is equally important. Thank you for the invaluable lesson, Master Geralt.

The tricky bit is figuring out WHY you aren’t doing what you know you should be doing. What’s the root cause? That’s what needs addressing, because will power alone only lasts so long. If support isn’t around you, get therapy, get a coach, join reflective groups, do reflective journaling, meditate, notice your narrative when stressed - what is the anxiety (sometimes in the form of anger or ranting) saying? What do you need that you are not getting? What provokes emotion, or lack of? Only after self-care and relaxing can you have a calm mind to start getting creative with new solutions.

as someone who is still in struggle with my inner-critic due to a trauma, this video kinda helps it laying down a notch so for that i'm very thankfull, but i hope one day i can both overcome my trauma and inner-critic so it won't drag me down, but instead help me on a healthy level in day to day life. And for all those who are struggling this is great advice so i hope it will help you to in some way or form.

What would you think about one of these videos with Gandalf the Grey? It was probably just seeing the movies as a kid, but I looked up to him more and more as I got older. Perhaps he could discuss overthinking and one's responsibility for the well-being of others.

I recently lost my dad and somehow this channel ended up in my feed.. I find it interesting and wholesome but also sad that there's not enough strong fathers out there that it's needed

I think the speech should be slowed by maybe 10% or a little more and it’d sound almost perfect

Speaking aside a campfire is very in to how he would be written in the books. In Polish there is a term called "gaweda" which isn't fully transmissible (only approximating) into english, but in a sense means the sort of stories you would tell over a routine.

Ive spent ten years delving into what i am inside. The next piece of advice i need is how to deal with not performing the solution when you already know it..self sabotage. Nike. Just do it. You don't want it bad enough. It doesn't have enough value to you.... I know. But still.... There is a piece of information, somewhere, that will shed light that will effect change. I can only go so deep into my mind. I've reached my limits of understanding myself.

AI is used for voice cloning and the visuals. The script I produce the old fashion way.

It sounds corny, but letting your 'dark' side serve you is the first step to becoming complete. He is you, and it doesn't serve to become a self-critic. Just be comfortable with saying no and doing right. You'll know, because there are always two sides. Choose the one that saves and loves.
