Thaaaaank you!!! I've had podbean for a while but have been using Resonate recording for editing, etc. They set it up (and they have been great, I'm just ready to take the wheel)....Anyway, I've been on hiatus for a while because of a move, and am about to start publishing again. Your video just saved me a BUNCH of Resonate credits!
Hello John, I enjoyed your podcast. It was informative and it will help me get started with Podbean. It would have been nice if you would have discussed the software you use for creating / recording your episodes. Thanks again.
Hello John, Thank you very much. I'm a beginner and this video has helped me a lot. I want to know whether the free version comes with more than five members in hosting a meeting.
Does a podcast also need to be visual? I'm considering starting one with a friend, but we both didn't even think about making it both via audio AND video. What do you think about that?
Hi Susan. Podcasts could be audio only or they could also be audio & visual. PodBean does have a plan that supports video podcasts. I think it really depends on your audience and your comfort level. Recording a video podcast is a little more complicated because there are more moving parts. I personally run an audio podcast because I like the audio medium and it's easier to edit.
Recording it in video format increases your visibility/marketability options, because you can upload your episodes on visual platforms (TH-cam is the obvious example!). While podcasts started as audio-only, and a lot of people still only listen, you should keep in mind that many people connect to the content better if they can see the person/people talking as well.
Great video! :) I was wondering, do you know if there are any features where I can create a podcast with lists in differents languages for the same episode? Or do I really need to create differents podcast for those languages? I want to have kind of the same episode but in 5 different languages in the same podcast if you understand what I mean :) is that possible with any host out there??
I have a question regarding timestamps in audio players. Podcastpage has this feature. Do you know if I can embed their player or any other player that supports timestamps? Do you know of any other players?
Hi there, I believe it is under the Settings tab on the left side. And then it is located in the Feed section. I think it is the first link next to "Podcast Feed URL"
Hi Lydia, I'm using a microphone and audio recorder to record my podcast. (The equipment I use is in the description) But you can really use anything, even your phone to get started.
Hi there, There are a few different podcast / recording softwares you can checkout. Some I recommend are Streamyard and Riverside. Both of these should allow you to do that.
I do not. Probably the closest you can do is just add keywords to your show notes / description section. I've noticed that the title is very important to keyword search ranking as well.
I have been using Podbean for a few years now to listen to podcasts. All has been great, but for the past couple of days it doesn't download a full podcast, it gets to 99% every time, then says download failed. What's going on please ? I even deleted the app and reloaded it, but the problem remains. HELP !
That's odd. It almost sounds like it might be an internet connection issue if it's not downloading all the way. Maybe try a different wifi or data source?
I believe upgrading from free doesn't loose anything as you are paying more when you upgrade. Now if you are downgrading from a pro plan to a free plan, you'll have to check and see what may be removed.
Really insightful. Thanks for being so authentic and helpful, John!
My pleasure!
Thank you John I really relate to you and your delivery. You said what I was thinking .
You're very welcome!
I am doing this already. I started this.
Straight to it, perfect
Great video. It's a shame that podcast platforms are so disjointed and require multiple sign-ups to get your podcast listed everywhere.
@JoeAtClaricast - what Podcast Hosting do you prefer/recommend? (I am curious)
Thank you. I am thinking about creating a podcast to create a free language exchange platform for women.
Sounds great! Best of luck to you!
Nice overview John. Thanks!

Glad I could help!
Do i have to create an account in each of the pocast apps before podbean posts the rss feed? Or will the podcast exist without a previous account?
Hi there, what camera set up do you use?
Hello John, I enjoyed your podcast. It was informative and it will help me get started with Podbean. It would have been nice if you would have discussed the software you use for creating / recording your episodes.
Thanks again.
Great suggestion! I'll consider making a video about how I edit my episodes in the future.
Awesome video, very helpful. 👍
Thank you for advice and the great explanation 🌹
Very helpful! Thank you!
why cant i use my laptop to record the podcast? Is pobean only for phones?
Hello John, Thank you very much. I'm a beginner and this video has helped me a lot. I want to know whether the free version comes with more than five members in hosting a meeting.
I don't believe so.

thank you...
How do I change the color when writing a comment on someone live on my phone?
Do you have a video specifically for video podcasts? on Podbean?
I actually don't, sorry!
How is their AI audio tool? Does it make the audio sounds professional?
Great video! :)

Yeah, I don't know of any. Sorry!
Hey John. Thanks for the video. How do you get the RSS feed?

Hi, I have a question. 5 hour is per month or it is a total. like if I finish 5 hour then I wont be able to upload?
I believe it is 5 hours total. Once you reach that point you won't be able to upload any more unless you upgrade your plan
@@johnthevideoguy Thank You John. Helpful 🙏 Subscribed
how are you recoding the podcast ? this is where I'm getting lost at
Hi Lydia, I'm using a microphone and audio recorder to record my podcast. (The equipment I use is in the description) But you can really use anything, even your phone to get started.
How do I do remote interviews like that and have a split screen video?
Hi there,
There are a few different podcast / recording softwares you can checkout. Some I recommend are Streamyard and Riverside.
Both of these should allow you to do that.
Do you know how to add tags to Podbean episodes?
I do not. Probably the closest you can do is just add keywords to your show notes / description section.
I've noticed that the title is very important to keyword search ranking as well.
Why can’t I verify my email

Can you upgrade from m free and not loose content

Too many commercials
