From 2013 until 2019 it seemed like Chance The Rapper was the golden boy of hip hop. He was loved for projects like Acid Rap, Coloring Book, Surf, and 10 Day but also for his positive attitude. After his debut album was considered a "flop", things took a turn for Chance The Rapper's career.

I could relate to him when he was a young offbeat artist off the street who slung candy to make cds and record while maintaining a youthful joy and mirroring that with the sad nostalgia. I cannot relate to the person he has become or the things he chooses to rap about. I would love a proper return to form but until then I'm keeping my ear to the ground to find the next person to make an "Acid Rap"
