JM is my most favorite preacher. I have listened to some great ones. But the closest I can compare him with is CH Spurgeon. The "Prince of preachers". And perhaps JM is the "Prince" of today's preachers'.
You cannot compare JM with anyone. He is so special ! I understood everything he said. He showed me where the Truth is in the Word. This is the most important thing for me. I can't learn what makes me feel good. I need to know the Truth, so I can be set free in the Lord.

Your examination of the biblical account of The Fall was fantastic! As I was listening to the specific part with the exchange between Satan & Eve, I couldn’t help but reflect on arguments I’ve heard from “Christian” gays for the acceptance of homosexual practices/relationships. As a former practicing gay man, now a born again believer, I’m thrilled to understand that I am in no position to try to challenge God’s stance on homosexuality as it has been given in His Word. Others may say, “But, did God reeeeeally say...?” Or say that a loving God wouldn’t warn me against something that may be pleasurable or natural to me? Satan can & has concocted what sound like reasonable arguments against the biblical position, but it’s just the devil hissing in our ears. Eve bought the lie...and look what happened. As you rightly said, “Doubting God’s Word is the essence of sin.” Thank you for upholding salvation truths!!!

John McArthur is a man of God, defends the inerrancy and Infallibility of Gods word(bible) yes he said you can get saved after the mark, but is that the unforgivable sin? Many will get the mark without knowing what they've done, if they repent and believe, and put their trust in Christs death and resurrection, will Christ reject them? Dont think so. For Christ Jesus said he who comes to me, I will in no way reject. Devils will always attack those proclaiming the truth of Gods word, even earscratcher pastors, who dont teach the bible expository way.

First time I heard him was on the radio - he p...ed me off lol. I was pentecostal at the time, and I turned the radio off! But the truth of what he said kept coming back to me in my mind. Eventually I had to concede that he was right.

Many people falsely think they are Christians because they obey the Ten Commandments, obey the Bible, and are good people. How can you be saved by your own merits if you broke one of God’s commandments? God desires perfection and you can never reach that.
If you think you are saved by obeying the Ten commandments let’s see if you’re saved. If you have ever hated someone that means you are a murderer. If you have ever lusted at the opposite sex that means you are an adulterer. What fills your thoughts the most? What or who are you always thinking about? There is your God. If you have lied or stolen something even the smallest things you are a liar and a thief. If you have ever talked back or rolled your eyes at your parents you did not honor them. If you have ever wanted something that wasn’t yours that is sin. If God judges you by just some of the Commandments you are going to hell for eternity. If you think you’re going to Heaven by going to church or obeying the Bible be afraid. Know that you are a sinner in need of a Savior. God is holy separated from all evil and since we are bad people we do not meet his standards. We have hope. God came down in the flesh and Jesus Christ lived a perfect life and he went on that cross and took upon the wrath of God that we deserve. The only way to reconcile you to a holy and just God was for God himself to come down.

A Christian is not going to say Christ died for me I can sin all I want. That shows you are not truly converted. You will obey the Lord because your heart is drawn towards Christ, you love Him, and you’re thankful for what he has done. No Christian rebels against the Word of God and lives a continuous lifestyle of sin. We will still sin because we are still sinners, but our desires are not to sin. Our desires are for Christ it’s all about Him. It’s not about getting out of hell. Christ loved you and died for you. Apart from Him you can’t even breath.

I wish there was a more definitive line of when a pastor is living beyond what he should in order to be a pastor in other words men like MacArthur deserve to be comfortable but having a multi-million dollar mansion just doesn't sit right with me and I don't understand where the line is but I will give it to God I just won't certainly give my money to a church that has a super wealthy pastor God bless you all that get to hear his great speeches and may God have mercy on his soul

I have attended a Calvary Chapel church in San Diego since 1996. The head pastor recently died and that prompted me to watch increasingly more MacArthur videos on youtube. Every time I listen to a newly discovered message from MacArthur, Sproul or any Grace to You or Ligonier Ministry message, I am inspired and refreshed. I have a sense of returning home. I'm presently looking for a reform church in San Diego. God Bless everyone participating in this video ministry

John MacArthur did that for me in 2007 when I heard him introduce his new book, The Truth War. Years later RC joined him as a crucial teacher. May God continue this line of godly teachers.

Even in a marriage each still has their individual walk in the Lord with accountability - In marriage in any area of life there will be the display of the obedience of Chrst or the fallen flesh that has not yet been submitted to the Lord - Therefore, each spouse still has their individual walk and happy are they who learn to walk after the spirit which is a beautiful gift to their spouse ! The Word of God is full of scriptures of how to walk a life that is pleasing to the Lord - Speaking from my own life of 25 beautiful years with my wonderful husband who went to be with the Lord May of 2020 whom I still miss dearly !! Voddie Baucham and John MacArthur are two of the best preachers I have ever listened to.
John is a pastor who I trust as his teachings align with the Word of God. I’ve learned is that if something sounds good and true does not mean it’s true. There are so many pastors and leaders that are deceiving. We need to always be discerning and comparing everything to scripture. The Bible is infallible and complete. The lies are you can’t trust the Bible, misquoting scripture, saying verses or books were left out and the Bible is not complete or saying things like “it does not mean this, it means this”, kind of stuff. If you desire truth, read and know your Bible, question everything, exercise discernment even if it looks Christian and sounds Christian does not mean they are Christian or have the truth.
I thank Christ Jesus everyday for pastor John McArthur and the truth he preaches. I've been growing stronger and stronger for many years now listening to him and why? It's because of our great Lord Jesus speaking through him that causes us to pause and think and respond to our Lord because of this truth. Conviction is what I get through this kind of preaching and other churches should listen as well. God bless you pastor John always and thank you for being obedient to God's call.

John that is so good. I remember that a old brother in a mens conference told me that God will give me healing ministry. And i began boosting about it. And the brother quicly put me en place, and said Edwin you cant heal a cold. I have listened to Pastor John Macarthur for more than 20years and his messages are just as biblical today as they were yesterday, excellent teachings. Towards the end, there is question of visions or dreams from God. I have experienced dreams and visions which turned out to be true. How do we explain this? My bible is my main way of hearing from God may I add. Thank you Pastor John and all at Grace Community Church for spreading the gospel. 🙏🏾
