Live monitoring your sensor's value from anywhere in the world using ESP8266 and Adafruit MQTT

- In this video I have shown how to monitor your sensor's data on your smart phone from anywhere in the world. The concept used for this project is,
I used the most popular board for iot related projects ESP8266. Now as we know that most of the sensors existing in the market gives us output in analog form, so I opted for esp8266 12e development board instead of esp8266 01 as the esp8266 01 module doesn't have analog pin while esp 12e has 1 analog pin in it. After that I have used 14.7 mm Force Sensitive Resistor(FSR) for explaining the concept but you can use any sensor. So whenever the sensor is pressed the varying voltage value will be appearing at analog pin 0 of our esp board and the esp board will publish that reading on Adafruit IO server through MQTT protocol. And on the smart phone side,we need to install an app called IoT MQTT Dashboard from Google playstore.

Good morning I can not use the wifi of esp8266e 12 to do all the procedure but only appears the ip of the microcontroller does not monitor serial but does not appear a wifi network both by the computer and by the mobile in the visible a network any tips ai?

Nice video and great work, how can I monitor several sensors, can I do it with 1 Nodemcu is there a way to input more sensors data or I need 1 Nodemcu for each sensor as it has only 1analog input ? Keep doing these videos they are great.

As we have only single analog pin on this board we can attach only one sensor
But in the market there are many sensors which communicates with i2c protocol so if you can get those sensors then yes we can attach multiple sensors with this board

solo tengo el esp8266 a 2 relevadores y mi fuente
lo uso igual con adafruit si se comunica y me manda las salidas, lo tengo en dos focos de mi casa y otro esp aparte para 4 focos
pero despues de unas horas ya no me responden mis salidas a los reles a menos que le de RESET al ESP como podria solucionarlo y a que se debera???

Hey, I am trying to send data to Adafruit from ESP32, for the first few seconds it worked fine... Later it showed error of exceded data input... The data was from AD8232 ECG sensro at 1 value/push... Is there any alternative to watch realtime data from ECG sensor

Like i want to display value from energy meters for the real time monitoring, I modified the code according to my energy meter and displayed single parameter, it works great but how can i display more parameters ?

Thank you for the reply but I tried exactly the same thing what happened is it gives values for sometime then I'm not sure what happened that all the parameters got stuck and there was no change in the value...can you help me out with this?

hi in my case i m getting zero value . i have connected 10k potentiometer and varying value of that in mqtt dashbboard it is giving zero it isnot reading but if print that sensor value on serial monitor it is giving..please help me out
I just want to give one recommendation. Please don't have like "'I've already created, so you click there and apply steps" mentality. Please show the people everything from first step until to last step. That would be more better. And 10 bit Analog resolutions maximum value is 1023. So gauge's maximum value should be 1023. Thanks :)

instead of the Force Sensitive Resistor used in his project you just make an voltage devider with 2 resistors according to the voltage you want to measure for example 12V? VERY EASY ...
