    There at the end Grandad was setting the braids and it sounded like you had a woodpecker in the boat. LOL

      Thankyou Stephen. Everyone has their own way of doing things and this is ours. Might not always be right so always check things first before you decide how to do it. The good thing we found in watching other peoples builds was the tips and ideas and also the chance to think would we do it like that or would it be better another way and then researched that. Thankyou for watching our build 👍

    More outstanding work, a just a quick comment although you’re most likely all done by now, you could use a small router and a piece of to make circle cutter to do the port holes, it would save taking it apart to use the jigsaw. Cheers, Nigel

      Thankyou Simone, Yes Im doing the editing. I spend all day Saturday doing it. I was hoping I would gradually speed up doing it but think it takes me longer now than at the start lol. Yep searching for the music takes me ages too. Think ive exhausted every bit of music that we like. Just started doing some repeats. Glad your enjoying watching 👍

    I also remember port and starboard that way. The other thing to remember is that marriages performed by the captain are only valid for the duration of the voyage.

    An easier way to remember port and starboard is. There's some red port left in the bottle.

    More very detailed work she’s going to be a cracking boat when completed.

    I would have used the foil bubble insulation on face next to metal to act as heat reflector in summer as well as a moisture shield in climate that is more often colder on outside than heated inside.

    Where did you get the cladding from, stunning job

    • @makinganarrowboatwithnannyandg
      @makinganarrowboatwithnannyandg  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thankyou Paul, We got it from a local wood yard near us. All the cladding we have used on the boat we have got from different suppliers (all wood yards and not DIY stores) in Nottingham depending on who sold what style we needed at the time. We have been really pleased with everything so far. Good luck with yours 👍

    Did you photograph the wiring before you covered it up for future reference?

    • @makinganarrowboatwithnannyandg
      @makinganarrowboatwithnannyandg  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Martin, Yes we have photographed everything before it gets covered. Most things important we have tried to design a way around it so that it will be easy to get to or see if or when there are any problems but stuff we cant see we have written down measurements etc of where it lays as well as photographing it. Hope it all helps in the future 👍
