If we install 3 kw for domestic purpose it will be helpful in my home I have 1kw solar which was installed in 2015 it gives around 4 units per day 240 units in 2 months which Is not that much beneficial but if 3 kw is installed it would be helpful it may be costly but as per my suggestion 2kw is necessary to be beneficial for domestic

Bro for domestic consumers you get subsidy for on-grid Solar power upto 40 percent for 3 kW. In Rs.80000/- u can avail 2kW. Moreover TANGEDCO has announced the tariff change. So on-grid will be much much beneficial. Even without subsidy it is highly useful. For Off-grid battery life is major factor.

    Two issues.
For on grid solar , an independent ups is a MUST...for when there is no EB power...you have no power in the house
    2. EB department is notoriously corrupt. Getting a on grid connection through them is EXTREMELY difficult..due to "lack" of meter...and HUGE bribes

8 years bill SAVINGS is possible if solar service company is in good level..

Bro I had bought crompton bldc fan 28watts without remote (regulator model as it is 5 years warranty) . I had installed when I switched on it runs on high speed on no 5 in step regulator. And remaining 4 stamps are more or less same speed. When compared to normal fan in step 1, bldc fan speed was on step 3.
I contacted service center and said I need very slow speed as on same model with remote . they said it could be regulator problem they said to change it.i did and again same problem.
they came and reset the pcb board and paired to regular. But problem was not fully cleared. They said to change to 4 step regulator.
As it is legrand modular regulator cost is very high nearly 1000rs
My point is whether there is any difference between 4 step and 5 step regulator.

Bro, nice vidoo. But I heard that for the power which we are exporting to EB Meter, we need to pay some nominal cost which may be around 300 to 600 Rs irrespective whether you are exporting more to grid or not. Can you please explain bit more about the cost which we need to pay for Ongrid?
Another disadvantage is power cut. You cant use Ongrid during powercut. So think about your area and frequency of power cut. For this you can consider Hybrid model which you can use Battery in between to save power as like Off Grid and you can export to EB too.

The problem is that in alternating current,so all devices must work on direct current. In night we use EB current

06:34 Hi Bro, one important point is misled here.
Theoretically, what you said, is supposed to be. But our EB board is against your statement.
E.g., if we use 750 units through EB and share 500 units from our Solar Panels, EB will charge us fully as usual (i.e., Rs. 3,430 for 750 units), then deduct the amount for 500 units including 100 free units (i.e., Rs. 1,130), we end up paying the balance Rs. 2,300. This is the main reason, common people like us are not willing to install Solar Panels. For industrial usage, installing solar panels would be the cheapest option, since the majority of the industries are running in the daytime and utilizing the produced power at the same time without sharing with EB.
If our government (EB) is agreeing to pay the balance in line with your statement, we shall pay hardly Rs. 380 for using the additional power (750 - 500 = 250 units) through EB. If our government is accepting this strategy, most of us will prefer to install solar panels in our houses.
Note that our government is already making a huge loss for producing the power to meet our excessive requirements, hence they shall make initiatives for installing solar panels and encourage “Go green”.

@@SmiltonResh To my knowledge, as on date, TANGEDCO only does gross metering, i.e, consumer pays for amount sold by EB less amount bought by EB.
The amount 'bought' by EB (towards units pumped back into grid) is at a much lower rate (per unit) compared to 'selling' rate.
In some other states , net metering allows consumers to pay only for net of units consumed. Here, ROI is much quicker for roof top solar for domestic consumers.

    • @electroboyIND
      @electroboyIND ปีที่แล้ว +6

@@gopalshekar986 Only HT customers and Power plants in TN comes under gross metering. Roof Tops in houses comes under NET METERING , where the UNITS are subtracted to the UNITS exported.

In ongrid solar system you can't directly use those units you exported to eb .. tneb will credit some amount per unit you exported to eb which is usually lesser than consumption perunit charge . In next billing cycle your bill amount was deducted from the amount you gained from exporting current to eb . Then you have to pay handling charges to eb every billing cycle and major disadvantage of ongrid was if there is a powercut ongrid stops producing current if your area is facing frequent power cuts during morning ongrid is totally useless

    Dear bro,
I have both 3 KVA on-grid and 300 WATTS off-grid solar unit in my house. The output from on-grid varies from 9 to 15 units depending on the sun light. During the rainy season, it produces only 5 to 6 units a day.
My family uses 2 Acs, 2 pumps for borewells, fans, tubelights,2 geysers, etc. We don't use kitchen appliances. Our power consumption is around 22-25 units per day. We are emptying our earlier accumulated units.

There is one more thing to consider. As you said Rs 140000 will be equal to 6 years of EB bill. But, if you invest 1.4 lakh in instruments like stock or mutual fund it may even double the money in 6 years. That means investing 1.4 lakh will pay for your bill for like life time and there will be no risk of any component failure.
