I am using an Atomberg BLDC fan worth Rs. 3,500. I was really impressed by its speed, and it's easy to set up because of its lightweight design. I bought it in 2022, and so far, I haven't faced any repair issues.

Excellent analysis..just air quantity measurement not taken, thats it. Capital cost, Operational cost and Iife cycle cost (ignoring maintenance cost) explained well to our tamil people understanding. Feeling great that its our coimbatore product.
i have been using atomberg bldc fan for past 6 years. there was no other brand was available during that time. but no issues so far. initially one fan circuit failed because i connected all fans thru regulator. but they replaced the fan and advised to bypass the regulator. after 5 years of use, one fan stared producing noise. after changing the bearing which costed around Rs.300, no issues. service also very good in Chennai.
It is clearly told that this super fan company selling from 2012 then how that IITian brand was only available at the time. It is ignorance that even I dont know this company and I lived half of my time in cbe.. 😐

But for the slim and small remote control, it is an excellent product that I have been using for the last 9 years without failure. Here in Singapore the unit cost is 0.22SGD which is about Rs 14. Even if I forget to switch off, occasionally, It does not worry me. energy saving is enormous particularly at lower speeds also.

One more critical point you are missed out; my bi-monthly consumption before SLDC was 550+, hthe same came down below 450 which also brought me down on tariff slab which resulted in higher savings

I bought 7 fans in 2014, still working good.... i got few circuit board issues but was promptly attended by the company. Sure saves energy. So far so good.
One thing we forgot to talk about here is the reliability of this product. Induction Fan which we buy nowadays ₹1500 is not lasting long, we need to keep repairing over & over again. For this new BLDC fan also it applies I guess. Because when we switched from CRT to LED/LCD Television, we started to keep changing the whole TV every 5 years instead of repairing. You can't repair most of electronics. Now consumers consume less electricity but spend more money & generate more & more electronics waste. This applies to most electronics & also this fan too I guess.
This is because of the quality issue. People want to pay less and want all features. Most of the big name companies are outsourcing nowadays. So, it's resulting in poor quality of products.
I am using Atomberg BLDC Fans from 2017. Peak Power consumed by them is 55w. In that period, Super fan used to come with Plastic fin which would have not lasted this long. Atomberg is working great so far and since its installed in Office, power saving is helping reduce huge bill. Now I can see, Super fan is also making innovative paints, etc and High flow model. Good choices and great video!

In my opinion BLDC is best for the users who consume more unit nearly 500 or more... Because unit rate charges varies for consumptions... There it plays a major role of deduction in amount in our electric bill...

Based on your word I purchased 7 fans and replaced normal fans. They said the Price Rs. 3700 per number. After bargaining fixed price at Rs.3500 and supplied by them. When unpacked 6 are with neet packing and one was loose packing. After fixing loose packed fan went out of order within 3 days. They arranged local service person under guarantee who changed the PC board. Then it worked for one month again went out of order. Same service person came and said one wire snapped and refixed. Now bearing noice is coming. So six fans supplied new and one fan could be used fans to compensate the reduced price of Rs. 25900-24500=1400. This is not logic and unfair by Super fan company.

I m a computer engineer. But when I renovated my house I studied and compared this fan. Since 2015 I m using superfan, the one which u showed in this program. It's controlled by remote no regulator. Once I changed remote control but the lifespan of fan after warranty period is still not known. In one.model there is a option called breeze. When v set the fan in this mode the speed changes automatically from.low.to.high repeatedly

I bought Crompton BLDC fan ,3 years ago for 2600 (normal fan costs 1300). But i experienced the difference of bldc fan in my EB bill .. And i made lots of changes to reduce my EB bill to prove my relatives and family members 😂😂 and they're also suprised .. (i removed all bulbs and replaced it all with led bulbs with lumen calculating,Bldc fans. And i bought daikin AC 1.5t non inverter - by running Ac for 20hrs per day at 26-28°c .. With all these changes in my renting house (previous tenant for this same house - The Eb bill was 9k , sometimes 13k). 😅 But now 170rs, 370rs and max consumed was 1.1k (during this may jun month)🎉🎉🎉
I am using atomberg and havells bldc fans 3 numbers from 2021. Maximum power consumption of my old induction fans were 80 to 90 watts average each. Daily home consumption of power was 10 to 12 units. Now BLDC fans consume only 38 to 40 watts. Total house power consumption per day reduced to 5 to 6 units per day. And inverter load reduced considerably. Connected 3 bldc fans to inverter. Mine was square wave inverter. regular induction fans make abnormal sound while power failed and running in inverter. BLDC fans are smooth in inverter. 280 watts of power reduced to 100 watts nearly.. And with the remote control for bldc fans i am sleeping peacefully in winter.
Been using bldc fans for 3 years. One model is superfan with remote and no regulator Another one from Crompton without remote but can be used with regulator. Note: you cannot use superfan with regulator. But if you lost remote you can on off switch three times to set speed

Hello.. Hope the review will help someone... i love the Superfan and their technology implementation along with thier packing. i own 4 super fans. I also made rough calculation not like you and came to understanding there is great saving in 5 years when i bought 3 years back so you are correct. BUT THERE IS A TWIST. i made mistake on their serive operation and buisness support capablities. There is good services(usually in superfan the only compliant is the board goes off and it cost around Rs 700+ due to voltage issues) only in Tier 1 cities like Chennai. But in Tier 2 places they have tieup but tieups are not much intrested in selling their product eagerly or soon they close down,they have a missing part which other fan companies have edege and also the SERVICE support is very bad and in my case it took more than 2 weeks to address the issue. This two things i was blind when i bought.. so now i went for crompton BLDC fan. Hope it reaches the correct persons desk and get addressed otherwise i see a loved fan company but will die soon!

Good information. I am using BLDC fan in one room there is really 60% power saving. Every one need to change for BLDC to reduce the EB bill. I request you to put video regarding solar panel usage also.
i am one of the early user of Super fan. i bought this in 2018. in nanganallur, chennai, dealer Ramesh suggested this fan to me. one additional advantage of this fan is "LESS NOISE". than ordinary fans
I could see this is a promotional video, but if possible, please can you do the same tests for atomberg fans too. Power consumption for some models are just 24W, which is less than this fan. But dont know how true it can be.
Same here, I realised this was a promotion when he started praising superfan but not even mentioned about atomberg. superfan is fine but atomberg fans are superior. I have both, although I am Coimbatore where superfan have their manufacturing unit, I prefer atomberg.
@@santhoshkalisamy if you were to look at this video as a comparison between normal induction fan and BLDC fan, then the purpose will be served... once the preference for BLDC fan is established, choice of the brand and model can be done by ourselves, using other means of comparison and customer feedback.

Good Review. I had replaced all my fans one by one every year to Atomberg for the past 3 years. I am able to save substantially in the EB bills. Also the remote proves to be helpful.
I'm using last 4years. Very good results in energy savings. But air flow not equal to indiction fan. But good for a room. Super fan is best to suggest.

I converted normal fan to bldc fan in my home. UPS backup is also more, usually only 7 hrs after using bldc fan ups backup is for 16hrs.

Now bearing noice is coming. So six fans supplied new and one fan could be used fans to compensate the reduced price of Rs. 25900-24500=1400. This is not logic and unfair by Super fan company.

I m a computer engineer. But when I renovated my house I studied and compared this fan. Since 2015 I m using superfan, the one which u showed in this program. It's controlled by remote no regulator. Once I changed remote control but the lifespan of fan after warranty period is still not known. In one.model there is a option called breeze. When v set the fan in this mode the speed changes automatically from.low.to.high repeatedly

I bought Crompton BLDC fan ,3 years ago for 2600 (normal fan costs 1300).
But i experienced the difference of bldc fan in my EB bill ..
And i made lots of changes to reduce my EB bill to prove my relatives and family members 😂😂 and they're also suprised .. (i removed all bulbs and replaced it all with led bulbs with lumen calculating,Bldc fans.
And i bought daikin AC 1.5t non inverter - by running Ac for 20hrs per day at 26-28°c ..
With all these changes in my renting house (previous tenant for this same house - The Eb bill was 9k , sometimes 13k).

I have been using a super fan for the past 15 years. Till date smooth usage and very helpful for aged people to control the speed.
I am using atomberg and havells bldc fans 3 numbers from 2021. Maximum power consumption of my old induction fans were 80 to 90 watts average each. Daily home consumption of power was 10 to 12 units. Now BLDC fans consume only 38 to 40 watts. Total house power consumption per day reduced to 5 to 6 units per day. And inverter load reduced considerably. Connected 3 bldc fans to inverter. Mine was square wave inverter. regular induction fans make abnormal sound while power failed and running in inverter. BLDC fans are smooth in inverter. 280 watts of power reduced to 100 watts nearly.. And with the remote control for bldc fans i am sleeping peacefully in winter.

Note: you cannot use superfan with regulator. But if you lost remote you can on off switch three times to set speed

Hello.. Hope the review will help someone... i love the Superfan and their technology implementation along with thier packing. i own 4 super fans. I also made rough calculation not like you and came to understanding there is great saving in 5 years when i bought 3 years back so you are correct. BUT THERE IS A TWIST. i made mistake on their serive operation and buisness support capablities. There is good services(usually in superfan the only compliant is the board goes off and it cost around Rs 700+ due to voltage issues) only in Tier 1 cities like Chennai. But in Tier 2 places they have tieup but tieups are not much intrested in selling their product eagerly or soon they close down,they have a missing part which other fan companies have edege and also the SERVICE support is very bad and in my case it took more than 2 weeks to address the issue. This two things i was blind when i bought.. so now i went for crompton BLDC fan. Hope it reaches the correct persons desk and get addressed otherwise i see a loved fan company but will die soon!

I could see this is a promotional video, but if possible, please can you do the same tests for atomberg fans too. Power consumption for some models are just 24W, which is less than this fan. But dont know how true it can be.

Same here, I realised this was a promotion when he started praising superfan but not even mentioned about atomberg. superfan is fine but atomberg fans are superior. I have both, although I am Coimbatore where superfan have their manufacturing unit, I prefer atomberg.
