What's the verdict guys? Will Undisputed REDEEM themselves in December, or have you already lost interest? 🥊 If SCI were pushed to deliver a product by a date influenced by investors, that shouldn't have been at the expense of the $80 paying Customer. With 1 million sales in their first week, yet overwhelming negative feedback... Ya can't help but feel we've been sold snake oil. All will be revealed in December if this was a money grab, or if they intend to spend OUR money on fixing the game.
Considering allot of the supsicions you had have came true and their track record with pc it may have just been a cash grab but that's why Dec is the last chance for them I think
@@AsRealAsItGetsBoxing I have a tendency to predict these things, because I know how the likes of EA and Ubisoft work, and it doesn't surprise me SCI (Who hired an EA guy) would go down the same path.
They should have just released the early access version it wasn’t perfect but it was at least enjoyable boxing without huge issues. Full release came out a completely different game really
@@ClaimerUndisputed everybody takes advantage of desperation in this world. If you haven't learned that, you were probably too busy playing video games.
@@DirtyJamesUK Thankyou for responding to me and not the original comment, also thankyou for painting a gigantically broad stroke, suggesting I'm naive to the world based on someone else's comment. Glad you got it off your chest.
Tried to warn people, over and over again. Been saying since January 2023 that this game was unfinished and nowhere near ready for release. But I'm just a hater though who doesn't understand boxing and we haven't had a decent boxing game in years blah blah blah...
I literally just read a comment "you people are so ungrateful, stop complaining" lol.. The sad thing is we warn people, but SCI still manage to sell 1 million copies. How they had to audacity to use CGI trailers with no disclaimer is beyond me.
@@ClaimerUndisputed Now now Claimer, don't question things, just open nice and wide for another spoonful of slop! I can believe that about the comment mate, been getting the same vomit spewed and parroted to no end as well in my comments section. That 1 million copies would never have happened if they would have released this current build months ago, for testing. Now we fully know why they didn't do that, and you eluded to it months ago in a video mate, it would have hurt the sales massively leading up to launch. Yes, the trailer not disclosing at any point whether the footage used is or isn't the in-game engine, is a bit of a legal risk on their part surely? I feel like they're wide open on that one. We can only do what we can mate. Ever feel like Sisyphus pushing that boulder up that hill? Sure feels like it sometimes. Keep up the fight old boy 👊
@@ClaimerUndisputed With it being blatantly illegal in the UK, Them being UK based , Someone needs to report it. They still use it as the first video you see on steam, With no warning still. Until someone takes action and they get legal action pushed against them, This will only continue & get worse.
Me too! I was saying from the jump just how bad the gameplay looked. And as expected everybody was in denial and basically saying I was delusional. Only for Steel City to release a worse version of the game than the beta that I had already been a bit critical of lmaooo
Same here. I would go into influencer videos and SCI social media's warning people about the state of the game, months before it was 'released'. People kept giving the same response. "You're a hater." "They're a small studio. It will be finished on release." "It's the first boxing game in over a decade. Just be happy." Low and behold, release comes and the game sucks. It's even worse than the beta build.
I actually bought the game I feel like I bought an incomplete game it's horrible online you get stuck for no reason sometimes, normal punches are useless against someone spamming power punches, a person can throw 300 power punches and you throw 300 normal punches your stamina will be very low compared to someone who's throwing power punches only and the head movement is useless it doesn't help at all but what really annoys me is power punching spammers are dangerous for the whole eight rounds because there's no stamina tax
@@nux2k that's the point the other guy makes. If you play it offline and try to spam power punches, you'll get knocked out by the AI, because you'll gass out after throwing three of them after another :D the same is online, so if the opponent can spam those shots without fatigue, he cheats. If he does mix up those shots in combinations, he is just simply better at playing than you. I play that game mostly offline and don't have the problems you people playing mostly online have. so it's either a lack of skill on your side, or the people online cheat often :D I played four matches online. One guy lost via knockout after getting countered by a right power hook, the other three people spammed power shots and had no fatigue doing it, so i lost via knockout inside four rounds. One guy was invincible during the fight and everytime i hit him visably, my fighter stumbled backwards and got stuck like being hit with the shot i just dealt out. That smells a lot like someone cheating.
That old dude with the google eyes needs to be banned from ever reviewing anything... He was word for word just parroting what these money grab devs told him to say. What a sell out, TH-cam should literally ban people like this for misleading the audience for profit..
It was a strange review, specifically because it had that "trust me guys". He said the previous version was garbage compared to this. He likely only played single player, but even that isn't great. I dunno.. Hopefully guys like him watch this vid and instead of taking offense, can learn from it. Sadly I always end up becoming despised by these guys, they never learn.
Showbizz will say anything for money, as soon as he endorsed it so hard I was worried, the guy is a total clown. This game is barely better than android level.
@@ClaimerUndisputed brother who cares if THAT dude dislike you, he's a goofy. Thanks to your videos I didn''t buy this garbage game and saved myself some money. Jus do you, ur vids are legit and honest, not cuz ur a hater but cuz u speak the truth, his game is trash. Boxing fans deserve a better game.
I like this game and it has lotential but does feel unfinished. How can you release a game for £65 and have the corner team repeat and say you need a ko after 1 round. Yes SCI, DO a pc hotfix, im ps5 but i want all issues fixed by dec.
The cornermen advice should have taken notes from fight night cos it’s so bland and fake. I can outbox a fighter completely on the outside and apparently “I let him back in the fight” STFU cornerman you don’t know shit!😂
I Modded it. I knocked down the AI's Stamina and Power, then extended the Player Stamina and Power. Yet every time, the AI would always match me, like a rubber-band. Issues are far deeper at the core of this game. I might go as far as to say the AI might be randomly scripted to win or lose.
Ahhh, that’s interesting. I suspected something similar too, in career mode there’s certain matches were I’ll get beat constantly (yes im save scumming XD) there was quite a few times where I was beating the guy and then it’s almost like the game modifys something in certain context. So in the later rounds the AI would have like a comeback, doing some crazy ninja moves hahaha and after it would start to pressure me none stop (always on round 6 - round 8 +) I would get knocked out easily with a few punches and I actually tested this, in the starting rounds I was able to eat more punches. after eventually avoiding any amount of damage into round 6 I couldn’t take the same amount of damage without being dazed and I would get wrecked. I’ve also had the ai get up 8 times and 6 times but this seems uncommon
I have another suggestion, rather than it being scripted, instead I think it could be based on the backstage AI being modified in a way that’s very predictable and excessive which is why it’s noticeable
The most alarming aspect about Undisputed, aside from the complete lack of enjoyable gameplay were the negative reviews being removed from the Xbox store.
Tbh i would rather get cheesed in the early access than getting power punched over and over and over again because you can actually counter the cheesers. The power punch stuns stops me from countering my opponents. Also no 12 full rounds in online matches is insane.
I really don't understand why they don;t just have it as an option. Ok, some people won;t want to play 12 rounds, so give them the 8 round option. Saying that, the servers struggle to give a stable 8 round fight.
I think it's weird you get hate from the community on discord but now it all makes sense. It's the paid TH-camrs hating... But all your points have been 🎯

Because it would require too much work and study, seems this was a money grab like the maker of this video said. Real boxing research, real boxer motion capture all which EA sports took the time to do with their games. They studied punch mechanics, created a faster game engine that brought a crisp, fast, fluent motion much like a real boxing match.
This game can't even hold FN Champions jock strap.. It's got better graphics, gameplay, story mode, online mode, EVERYTHING.. And that game was made 15 years ago!

Does anyone else find the punch slipping mechanic absolutely useless? I think I remember martial mind saying it and I’ve noticed no one I’ve seen really uses it. AI opponents use it effectively all the time but it seems like you have to be an AI to use it effectively.
I love it! It has so much potential it just needs updating. People are always complaining about power punchers but I haven't lost to a power puncher yet. Just play with them and make them chase you. It's funny 😂
I heard there was a new boxing game, looked up a trailer and thought ok, its not fight night but itll do. Then just couldnt pull the trigger to purchase it, something looks off. And im glad I didnt.
Offline is fine, player vs CPU is very enjoyable. The dev's just need to unbalance the fighters because some fighters were a lot tougher in real life and didn't or never hit the canvas as often as they do in the game, and others weren't so tough and did. It's a great boxing simulation to play and will only get better.
You're welcome 🍻 unfortunately the social media landscape is full of grifters overreacting to any new game for a small profit. Happy to offer some balance
The problem is that the DEVs seem to not be willing to hear out the opinions of those who really are digging into the game. I could go into the long list of problems I found without hours, but that would be too many things. So, I'll just bring up a few problems that they should fix before anything else (mainly because these are basic problems that shouldn't be a thing in the first place), AI input reading, Stun looping, Punch Stamina Cost (Static v Moving v Loose movement v Power punches), Stamina/Cut/Swelling/Health Regen between rounds (why am I not being rewarded for playing well?), block bleed, base punch damage to true and minor health (planted v moving v power v catching someone leaning) and Punishing redlining (draining temp stamina or falling under 40% stamina and bringing back slow punches). Again, I do not understand how they removed core systems that made sense, such as the redlining punishments. A lot of the changes they've made feel backwards and I have a sinking feeling some of the design may have been to inflate the AI's challenge. I will not say it was purely to make the AI harder, as I doubt that it is the sole reason. However, it seems odd that the changes focus on a more spam based style and makes the AI harder to fight on higher levels unless you know how to break the AI or particular combos that do heavy damage. I do hope they see the error in this and fix the problems. But seeing as they only brought up Wilder's punches, instead of going over the major problems that created the Wilder Problem of 2024, I worry that they cannot be bothered to hear out their players again and only pay mind to the TH-camrs who make clickbait videos talking about how "X is overpowered" or "X needs to be removed form the age" and do not go into the needed detail or give proper breath to solutions to these problems. Our only real hope may be videos like yours (and others) to somehow reach someone on the DEV team with enough power (and the will) to do the right thing. Anyway, great video. I really enjoyed it. Have a great day, Claimer.
@@ClaimerUndisputedtbh I agree with this video but using alycia baumgardeners review on undisputed isn’t it, that statement most likely wasn’t written by her and she’s probably salty she’s not in the game

@ i never been this pissed off with a game normally i don’t care but this is psycho aren’t they ashamed to release a game which is broken like this you know what i mean brother ?
This was sadly a money grab since day one. My first video covering the game on my main channel, I questioned if it was a scam even then. They made a great looking concept to appeal to investors, and focused 2 years on sales and promotion instead of hiring dev specialists, you should be upset. Which content creator encouraged you to buy the game?
I miss fight night round 2, the dynamic blocking and "parrying" was so much fun, and i loved cocking back a haymaker. Just blocking up/down seemed like a step in the wrong direction.
I hate how these trash games do this EVERY time. Their entire concept is NOT to build an actual good game, but just a cool looking trailer to try to hook the audience into believing thats what they're actually buying.. I'm so glad I didn't fall for it this time!
If only there werent thousands of reviews on steam telling you it was hot garbage... not to mention all the footage on youtube from players (not bought and paid for reviews by content creators). Its like ea and their sports titles, every year its trash, but people still buy into the hype. Good on you for holding your purchase, if only more people were like you.
ppl saying it feels unfinished... if u played the early access u would even more so see where they went wrong compared to someone who just got the full release version saying it has potential. they need to literally roll the update back to early access form and just fix the punch animations/mechanics.
I went online played 3 matches in ranked never want to go back. Got to the end of career mode on normal. It was lackluster and too easy. Went to max difficulty and it doesnt geel like boxing at all. The stamina and tabkiness of opponents is frustrating and not fun. The lack of features on career mode compounding things further. Its miserable. Great vid btw.
Bro everybody knew it wasn't up to scratch. I'm confused because it's been this inconsistent and bad while in early access, what was expected overnight just because they said it's 1.0? The product was on display even before being sold for full price, so how was anything else expected?
The core community knew.. but casual players would have relied on Influencers, plus the CGI trailers played during boxing events. The fact you're aware of the difference between 0.7 and 1.0, makes you automatically not their target audience.
If you just abandon these unscrupulous game makers, and find a more productive way to spend your time, your life will be so much better. Video games are only frustration now, you're better off without them.
Undisputed from day one expanded its reach through influencers (Free daily promotion), and whilst still in their infancy they recruited these loyal influencers who mostly covered the broken game on day one. If we removed the influencers propping these companies up, they’d be forced to rely on an actual promotional budget, which was the norm before 2013.
Excellent video my man! I dont see them redeeming themselves in December. This feels just like more of the same. The same way we were treated in early access. Going months between updates, barely fix anything and anger the majority of the playerbase while you're at it, slowly killing it too. By December there wont be much of a playerbase left if they dont do something quick. It doesnt take a genius to figure out that stamina is the core issue yet somehow they still havent addressed it at all, not a word lol I could rant about these guys all day but I wont bore you with all that. SCI take note and fix the game before it's too late!
I just bought it and the game keeps freezing and between rounds to where i need to close the game. I'll get hit while im 5 feet away from my opponent. It's not in a good state right now. It just doesnt feel good while playing, it feels slow and glitchy. Wish i would have watched more videos about it before buying it.
There are a few issues. But I also think most ppl are playing this game wrong. You really need to know boxing and how to use each fighter. And too many depend on power shots with no skill. I am having a blast mastering this game. I will support because I support boxing and it to be the best sport in the 🌎🥊💪🏽
I will give the developers the benefit of the doubt right now. I've uninstalled the game and il see what people say in December. I've conceded that I've lost 60 quid from this.
yeah the discord doesn’t offer any polls for direct feedback. we just get reassurances that we are being heard but it feels like the game doesn’t know what direction to take for its gameplay.
I see selling an unfinished game. It's been several years in the making. Unfinished now means they're unable to deliver. So what we have now is likely it. Maybe incrementally better but unlikely to get to the promise. At worst it's shown there is a market for boxing games so im sure someone else will step in.
Thanks for the breakdown. I was just about to purchase the game until I came across this video. I've seen that it only has 3 stars and was curious why so thanks for saving me $80 and a lot of time and energy. Keep up the great breakdowns of poorly made games.
Thanks Phil, the most common comment I recieve is "thanks for saving me money". Someone has to offset these fake content creator reviews, so I'm glad the algorythms help push my vids out there.
This is one of the few honest reviews. I'm glad you went after guys like ShoBizz who hyped the game, then told the truth, and then went back to saying those who said the game was bad judged the game too soon. Guys are out here doing reviews saying "The game is fun when you get someone to agree to play the right way", what? I wish I could roll the game back to one of the last two pre-launch builds. I played the game for almost 2 years at this point so I don't think I got scammed or didn't get my money's worth but the final product as it stands is trash.
You're welcome man. I've always said.. I'm happy to be the sacrificial lamb for the community. I'll call people out and accept I'll make enemies along the way. I am despised or ignored by virtually everyone who covers the game, because they understand I can call them out for selling out their own people in some form.
The game was only good for about 3 months till the cheaters started exploiting the game... it ruined everything. They never even planned to put an anti-cheat... no anti-cheat in a pvp game in this day and age??? on top of that it seemed like every patch made the game worse. My guess is the owners pocketed the money they were supposed to use for development. They tacked on a career mode and ran with the money.
@@MysteryGameGeEk3000 they had alluded to adding an anti-cheat, but the way some players manoeuvre (god complex showboating and zapping ur energy with ease) I'm pretty sure cheating just as rife
@@ClaimerUndisputed I remember that post. That's when I knew they were never going to put an anti-cheat and there was probably never going to be one in the first place. They complained how it would be a lot of work and they have to in-bed the anti-cheat into the original code... or something of the sort. When I saw that post I knew the game was a scam from the start. IMO anyway. Great video
I love boxing so I bought the game. Really was bummed out there was no fighter training in career mode. The power punch glitch really sucks. Hopefully they can fix that. I was really pumped for this game. I was expecting a 10/10 game. I'd rate 6.75/10
Great points Claimer. I think you missed the main issue though (imo). The problem is, even against the AI, it is incredibly easy to win fights just by spamming hooks (both normal and power hooks). Stamina is part of the problem, but i think the bigger problem is how poor the defence system is vs these tactics, even from the AI! I can beat any fighter on undisputed difficulty in pretty much one one round by spamming hooks. That same fighter when i am trying to fight authentically behind the jab, mixing up to the body and head and it suddenly becomes v. Challenging to win. This just feels like a glaring, unacceptable issue. when i fight authentically, if i ever get in trouble i know i can just spam hooks to turn the fight around. What are your thoughts on that?
You're right, i skipped the "current" hooks exploit. Specifically stationary hooks, I came accross an undefeated player who's hooks were impenetrable even with the jab, but it doesn't seem to be the case with all fighters. You don't even need to rely on the rear hook. You can throw the lead hook up close to stun your opponent repeatedly.
Yep, such a shame, if only you could easily evade and then punish hooks... but the fact that even the ai can't on undisputed difficulty shows how ridiculous an exploit it is. Surely that would have been noticed in testing...
No anticheat, modders are so op with this build, very disappointing, atleast before you could outbox and slowly drain your opponent, now they can power hook you with 30% stamina and still knock you out.
You know what Dave.. I have been sensing that Anti-cheat is non-existent. Far too many players are able to knock me down with standard hooks 4 or 5 punches into the first round.
@ClaimerUndisputed yes according to others on reddit, there's a discord with the devs and I have been told that it's currently being tested, I don't expect them to do it tbh. I would go and get the ps5, but not I it's current state, shame really because I know there's decent game in there somewhere.
The game has its issues but the biggest issue is the community/players. All the technical things can be made better or fixed. But the modern gamer for the most part is trash ethically. People cheat and look for ways to break the product and not to mention cannot take a loss. Then all of this is placed at the developers feet. Yes they should fix the issues and I believe they will. I actually enjoy the game when I play against someone that is actually boxing and not just looking for the exploits in the game.
@@fredrickwilliams293 Agreed, the dev's though have opened up a can of worms for exploiters to take advantage of. No stamina deterrent for power punches is utter madness. This generation of gamers play to win at all costs, especially casuals who likely don't care about boxing in the first place. The devs have to counter every exploit, the responsibility rests on them.
there's modders? How does that work on this game? I have to say, the last guy I played got up from 6 knockdowns and I did wonder if he was using something for that...
the fact it has such a prolonged early access cycle you'd think they'd of been able to iron out the problems before release but nope it kinda tells ya all you need to know about the compotense in terms of how they value player feedback lol
This is funny, i reported in game issues 500 times or more, never got an answer and from a certain point i believe they put me on minima stamina and power because i spamed them with in game reports. I waited more then a year then beta 1 beta 2 , and the crap updates that came after early acces... i did a video on how bad it was and adressing issues on facebook groups, i was called crazy , its just an utterly toxic community. Good video here, cheers
So many issues. For me though the biggest disappointment has to be the career. Once you realise "training" is just spamming the same advance week option until your weight is where it needs to be, you can literally fly from the end of one fight to the start of the next in a minute or two, totally killing any immersion or hype for fights. There's no believability to any of it. Also, am I an idiot or is there no way to slow the rounds down to real life speed in career? I felt like the rounds were going by quickly, then noticed the fight clock was going too fast. I've looked but can't find a way to slow it down to normal in career. I want a realistic career mode. Honestly, FNC is still leagues ahead and that's 2 generations old now, which is honestly ridiculous.
Hey Steve 🥊 i agree, i think most were expecting a story driven career, or atleast activities which were visual in some sense. I'm a big fan of FNC, specifically the story mode. Apparently the career has been in development since day one.. Almost 4 years ago. Let that sink in. 👀
For me one of the major problems in the game, along with stamina as you mentioned, is the static head movement. Your feet get planted to the ground instantly as soon as you weave your head, making it impossible to bob and weave or exit pockets while moving your head unless you use the diagonal dodge which is such a long winded movement and also looks pretty ugly. You also rarely see actual boxers using the diagonal dodge in real life unless they’re Mike Tyson lol. Even Fight Night had a much cleaner/smoother head movement. Don’t even get me started on the awful punch tracking, every time you slip you still get hit in the head, unless you weave your head all the way back, it is impossible to effectively use head movement. It makes every fight look repetitive and goofy. Just two fighters trying to pull back lean and counter while standing still in front of each other. That is really not realistic.
They were too stubborn to test their new version with the early access community. Sadly they didn't pay the price.. The game sold well due to the "tap dancing content creators" hyping it up during Pre order season and Day one.. Plus the CGI trailers would have captured the appeal of the casual gamer.
@@ClaimerUndisputedI learned my lesson after buying UFC 5. I wasn't about to fall for that hype trap again. fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
@@Джабраилович yup, I spent 6 months trying to warn people. But the YT algorythms always promotes people who demonstrate the game first. On day 1 fully aware of the single player issues, they focused on making it look authentic.. Cost alot of people money, and make them probably 1 to 2k off of youtube views that month. Strange strange subculture out there.
Good video. Hopefully someone over there starts listening for a change. Personally, I moved past the point where I can complain about Undisputed. 1.0 should mean something for a game, and this is just one of many products released in an unfinished state with the promise it'll be "fixed" later. I feel bad for anyone who bought this at full price thinking it was going to be complete. You blew it, Steel City.
I'm 45-9 online and even I find the gameplay loop for this game unbearable. Boxing perfectly and winning every round and here comes a power punch through the block for a flash knockdown. There doesn't seem to be an effective way to even have good defense, you just gotta hope those jabs and hooks from miles away don't hit you when you get out of range but more times than not they land because of the desync. Also, the quitting in online matches is crazy, it's an epidemic right now. I said I had 45 wins but realistically it's around 70-75 but those people keep quitting after getting stopped/KOed or they see their gameplan isn't working OR they look at the scorecards after Round 6 and see they're down big. Easy fix for that is to turn disconnects into Towel throws by the corner.
Unfortunately i have to agree. I was fully prepared for a 1st iteration boxing game from a smaller developer in SCI but i can't believe they thought this was OK to release. Just gameplay aside there's so many features in FN that are not in this game and that 100% should be and you could easily forgive those things if the gameplay was good but it's broken. Surely they knew stamina was broke before they released it yet the fix for it isn't until December! As for the influencers, they were 100% paid off i knew i'd been duped within half hour. They'll need to put in a Hello Games/CD Projekt Red effort to bring me back. December is simply not good enough when you can fix stamina in 1 patch,
I think it's possible man. By March they may be able to get the game in a reasonable state tbh. I have faith in JX Sheppard, who works for SCI. He has a tendency to share my suggestions to the people that matter. If they can release PC hotfixes before December for us to test, they'll be on a good path forward.
very well put together as per usual. I personally don't feel like i wasted my money since i played 152 hours after paying 32 dollars. At least i had some fun playing the game back in early access which is the superior version compare to what we have now. But for people who paid 50 or more, they definitely wasted their money.
I actually enjoy the gameplay despite some needed fixes. It feels much more like a simulation vs FNC which is what I wanted. That said, my lord is it unfinished. Career is as bare bones as it gets, can't even change weight classes, no practice mode, keep fighting the exact same guys over and over again, simulated injuries in training (because there's no mini games, drills or practice mode!), etc. Some punches seem predetermined to land or not land even when you're in perfect position to get a free shot in or defend/dodge a punch being theown at you. I've seen many punches literally go through my opponent's head. It's an extremely unfinished, half baked product that had/has so much potential. It's infuriating to see even a small dev team that I chose to trust, because they seemed so passionate, decided to do this to consumers. Feels like they wanted their payday before EA announces their next boxing game. Hopefully they use that money to actually improve the game but i doubt it...
I followed this for years every step of the way and this either from an inexperienced team, lazy, not enough resources or just incompetent, but this is an outright unfinished product. The fact there is basic stuff like name on the waistband, robes and other stuff missing is just unacceptable. The career mode where you can't move weight divisions, rematch a frozen rankings 9 times each once winning the titles, only can defends random titles at a time instead of all four belts, I had belts taken off me randomly and just was with another fighter after a defence when I was undisputed and more. Arms that just deflect and warp when skimming off your opponent. This feels like Don kings boxing if anyone remembers that game.
You cannot even get a refund at the PlayStation store online because they claim that the publisher have not authorized digital refunds yet I’m like wow not even a store credit but you can get a refund if you bought the Xbox version makes no sense🤔
@ClaimerUndisputed Hey man,did you used to do airsoft vids? Cause you sound exactly like a dude I used to watch review airsoft guns and gear. Just curious, great vid on this game
Get it on sale folks. . . it will be on at least a 50% sale by December. Just wait it out. That’s what I’m doing. Leading up to release EVERY VIDEO I SEEN ON TH-cam, someone in the comments would be like “oh this is an old build” and I kept thinking to myself.. this makes no sense. The game is coming out in a week this has to be up to date gameplay.. and well I was right to trust my gut. Back to Metaphor lol.
I have to say that the desync HAS NOT gotten worse, at least on my end of things. It actually seems like the online is worlds better than it was. I hardly ever get a disconnect or a "forfeit" as some people perceive it. I hardly deal with ghost punches, out of range punches, or the likes anymore. Could just be my experience though but I immediately could tell a difference for the better.
Fair enough, my personal experience is worse and others have reported similar. It's always been an issue, but rarely the case that I'm getting hit 5 feet out of range.
Bruh your deffo in the minority there. I’m on wired virgin top end broadband and have 0 issues on any game apart from this… I’m actually jealous you don’t receive ghost punches cos my God Deontay can land them badboys easy.
I didn't pay full price, so the game is decent to me. But I do not understand why they didn't have this build in early access before release to get more feedback from the changes. It could've saved everyone a lot of grief. There was no rush, EA isn't releasing the next FN for a while still.
I stopped playing like 9-10 days ago, give it time to get updated and patched up. I can’t believe Mike Tyson isn’t in the game, I paid deluxe version too. 😢
All facts ty for telling the truth about this game and exposing who hasn't for special benefits this is the best boxing game / combat sports game what a complete lie
Your welcome Legend, my channel can benefit from the game.. But I understand the importance of $80 for the average consumer, and I refuse to be the persuador for someone losing their money.
Maybe it’s because I just don’t play online games but I’ve honestly had a perfectly good time playing this game, I certainly do have issues with the lack of certain features, like the fact there’s no clinching in a boxing game is insane to me, but I just play against the computer on pro andundisputed difficulty and that shit is fun
Its so crazy, i loved this game prior to its release to console, it had a whole heap of crappy bits about it and i was always hopeful they'd make little tweeks. I expected training montages and ability to retire or go up or down a weight. I had played the Career mode at least 5-6 times and then came back from holidays got excited as i saw a new patch and downloaded its and its just horrible, I cant even finish my bud Crawford run.
I am trying my best to love the game.. but the quitters are driving me crazy.. my ranked record is super skewed because of it.. I can. Look past all the missing things and issues but the quitting is unacceptable
Undisputed has sluggish mechanics and unmanageable controls that kill the thrill of real boxing. The Graphics is decent though. But For a game hyped as the future of boxing simulation , Undisputed doesn’t meet the bar at all!🤦🏾♂️. Great vid tho💯
Preach! I wish more people in the community was keeping it 💯 intead of shilling for SCI. Even then, some of them can barely contain their disappointment..
It is strange, even though i knew it was inevitable. The same people who trashed Martial Mind for still playing UFC 5 as if it's a good game, are playing Undisputed as if it's a good game...
Yep I'm suffering kinda bad right now. Cus I waited for this so long I was ready on drop. Now I need my money in the worst way. And don't even wanna play the game until the update
My main problem is ppl that can't box can just spam power punches and say your the pussy for running away boxing on the backfoot because you refuse to play the way they do lol
Is the studio big enough and capable enough to address these issues desync has been an issue since the start of early access and it's still in the game.
I haven’t played in nearly a week. Went back to the old game I was playing prior to undisputed’s release. I have no drive or desire to play it. It feels depressing.
I'm not an early access player, but what do you replace the combo flow system with? The desync issue is problematic, and throwing hooks at light speed shouldn't be a thing, but I like how combos flow in this game, it's fun to be creative. EA removed combo flow from their UFC games, and they added vulnerability, it honestly became unfun after that imo.
I think they should keep the combo flow system, however temporary remove it since it introduces a ton of issues. Once it's refined, bring it back! Various combo's were flowing fine previously by the way.. they've just tuned up some of the basic weapons to flow better. It's problematic when both fighters throw combos, mainly due to the frequent stun states. They need to include a multitude of stun states, small (as a visual warning you're getting hurt) medium, and large. Currently they use just one, which means your opponent can get off 3 extra strikes before you recover.
wasted my money on this in early access because of the early promising footage and after all this time game is still smoke and mirrors the overhand interactive game looks to be what undisputed devs think the game looks like
This is well put together, fair & pro customer 👍 5:24 That's the moment that SHILL convinced me to buy the Deluxe Edition, dude sold his subscribers down the river with that asinine quote. (Thankfully Xbox are reasonable within refund criteria & I played/own the game via Early Access on Steam so I knew the "full game" wasn't this massive upgrade the shills claimed. Refund approved) I still own the game on Steam, got it cheap like a year ago when it was in Early Access... Haven't bothered reinstalling/updating I'll revisit that on December or perhaps sooner if they took your common sense advice on hot fixing- Until then I'm content with playing Fight Night Champion 🤷♂
Thanks Luke, I wish i received more comments from those convinced by shills to buy the game. Shills typically consider the customer last.. which is even more of an insult when you realise they get the game/s for free, and usually empathize with the company due to the company / content creator partnership programs in place. It's a cycle which will never end unfortunately until people start waking up to their selfish intentions (not all of them) which is usually to form a YT career pumping out content playing one game.
Haven't played online yet...but I'm really enjoying offline play. I struggle with the controls a bit, keep doing fight night things from muscle memory. Moved up to pro against the cpu haven't won a single fight against froch yet. Tbf I don't play my ps5 nowhere near what I used to.
What's the verdict guys? Will Undisputed REDEEM themselves in December, or have you already lost interest? 🥊
If SCI were pushed to deliver a product by a date influenced by investors, that shouldn't have been at the expense of the $80 paying Customer.
With 1 million sales in their first week, yet overwhelming negative feedback... Ya can't help but feel we've been sold snake oil. All will be revealed in December if this was a money grab, or if they intend to spend OUR money on fixing the game.
It's not good enough at all, I've never wanted to head butt my PC monitor so much 😂 I hope it gets better but I'm not Holding my breath.

Yes, the trailer not disclosing at any point whether the footage used is or isn't the in-game engine, is a bit of a legal risk on their part surely? I feel like they're wide open on that one.

@nux2k my boy, ever faced those players that you just CAN NOT knock down??? Yeah that's probably also mechanics

@@Hellothere-ok4pk Probably the fighting man John Fury. xDDD
I Modded it. I knocked down the AI's Stamina and Power, then extended the Player Stamina and Power. Yet every time, the AI would always match me, like a rubber-band. Issues are far deeper at the core of this game. I might go as far as to say the AI might be randomly scripted to win or lose.
Wow.. That is madness if true
Ahhh, that’s interesting. I suspected something similar too, in career mode there’s certain matches were I’ll get beat constantly (yes im save scumming XD) there was quite a few times where I was beating the guy and then it’s almost like the game modifys something in certain context.
So in the later rounds the AI would have like a comeback, doing some crazy ninja moves hahaha and after it would start to pressure me none stop (always on round 6 - round 8 +)
I would get knocked out easily with a few punches and I actually tested this, in the starting rounds I was able to eat more punches. after eventually avoiding any amount of damage into round 6 I couldn’t take the same amount of damage without being dazed and I would get wrecked.
I’ve also had the ai get up 8 times and 6 times but this seems uncommon
I have another suggestion, rather than it being scripted, instead I think it could be based on the backstage AI being modified in a way that’s very predictable and excessive which is why it’s noticeable
I get buffing backstage stats during a game but if this is whats happening then it’s very predictable and excessive
The most alarming aspect about Undisputed, aside from the complete lack of enjoyable gameplay were the negative reviews being removed from the Xbox store.
How's that possible?
This game is definitely not finished, but I have been enjoying it once I figured out how to beat spammers and exploiters

My sentiments exactly.. And they almost did until they hired outsiders who taught them the EA sports model to success.

@@ClaimerUndisputed for real bro
Offline is fine, player vs CPU is very enjoyable. The dev's just need to unbalance the fighters because some fighters were a lot tougher in real life and didn't or never hit the canvas as often as they do in the game, and others weren't so tough and did. It's a great boxing simulation to play and will only get better.
Thank you for the first and so far the only honest review of this dumpster fire...it is ridiculously bad...once again...Thank you👍
You're welcome 🍻 unfortunately the social media landscape is full of grifters overreacting to any new game for a small profit.

Got to the end of career mode on normal. It was lackluster and too easy.
Went to max difficulty and it doesnt geel like boxing at all. The stamina and tabkiness of opponents is frustrating and not fun. The lack of features on career mode compounding things further. Its miserable.

By December there wont be much of a playerbase left if they dont do something quick.

yeah the discord doesn’t offer any polls for direct feedback. we just get reassurances that we are being heard but it feels like the game doesn’t know what direction to take for its gameplay.
I see selling an unfinished game. It's been several years in the making. Unfinished now means they're unable to deliver. So what we have now is likely it. Maybe incrementally better but unlikely to get to the promise. At worst it's shown there is a market for boxing games so im sure someone else will step in.

Were you under the impression there was a training mode based on the trailer?
I beat this one guy that was 60-0, he quit as the ref was counting. Next match I meet him again and he’s still 60-0.. 🤦🏽
What was his name?
I WANT MY MONEY BACK HOW TO REQUEST REFUND?
Weird thing is the games gotten WORSE since release... like wtf
Yeah everyone who bought it was scammed.
I feel sorry for the dudes who haven’t played any other boxing game and think it’s good 😢
I'm 45-9 online and even I find the gameplay loop for this game unbearable.
December is simply not good enough when you can fix stamina in 1 patch,
Agreed.. But most importantly Mitchell Brothers! Great times for mainstream TV
Claimer, > do you think they'll be able to fix the game by the beginning of 2025 ? because I want to say yes but I'm not sure
I think it's possible man. By March they may be able to get the game in a reasonable state tbh. I have faith in JX Sheppard, who works for SCI. He has a tendency to share my suggestions to the people that matter.
If they can release PC hotfixes before December for us to test, they'll be on a good path forward.
We were scammed and spammed!
very well put together as per usual. I personally don't feel like i wasted my money since i played 152 hours after paying 32 dollars. At least i had some fun playing the game back in early access which is the superior version compare to what we have now. But for people who paid 50 or more, they definitely wasted their money.
Dude how do I message you,I found some stuff steel city have done that if it’s what I think it is is super shady
Hey mate, you'll find my discord link in description of the vid
@@ClaimerUndisputed just messaged
This feels like Don kings boxing if anyone remembers that game.
any update about seeling ? is it true 1 million copy in 1 week sold?
You cannot even get a refund at the PlayStation store online because they claim that the publisher have not authorized digital refunds yet I’m like wow not even a store credit but you can get a refund if you bought the Xbox version makes no sense🤔
I've heard if you state your kid made the purchase without your authority you can get a refund, go with that
@@ClaimerUndisputed 👍🏾👍🏾I will try that tomorrow thanks
@@ClaimerUndisputednaw PlayStation won’t let you get a refund if you’ve even downloaded the game
@ClaimerUndisputed Hey man,did you used to do airsoft vids? Cause you sound exactly like a dude I used to watch review airsoft guns and gear. Just curious, great vid on this game
@@o.t.t5172 apparently the kid narrative has worked for many though
I love how block works half the time at best.
@@kieronjdonovan I figured that could be the case.
0.7 was terrible desync for me, but this is worse.
I suspect its internet connection speed. I have 2 gigabit speed internet. I dont have those issues.
Nah, this game was done as soon as SCI decided to end Early Access support.
Absolute disappointment that I don't think will ever improve.
I didn't pay full price, so the game is decent to me. But I do not understand why they didn't have this build in early access before release to get more feedback from the changes. It could've saved everyone a lot of grief. There was no rush, EA isn't releasing the next FN for a while still.
The game in early access was amazing, it felt perfect, up until the eastern assassin update, it went down hill from there in every way possible.
Appreciated Fett
I actually think the graphics aren't that much better than when I played Fight Night.
@@techniciantrevI agree, it looks like PS3 game.
Can you get a refund? On PS5 tell them your son used your credit card to buy the game, you'll get the refund.
Whats really made me think before I buy was I thought the release finished product was this month when I look at the store page today they added DLC.
My main problem is ppl that can't box can just spam power punches and say your the pussy for running away boxing on the backfoot because you refuse to play the way they do lol
I think that's the main problem for everyone.. the power punch spam which puts you in a dazed state.. so you have to stay back.
To be honest doing this should lead to significant stamina loss leading to one power punch to the stomach should drop them which doesn’t even happen
Is the studio big enough and capable enough to address these issues desync has been an issue since the start of early access and it's still in the game.
I haven’t played in nearly a week. Went back to the old game I was playing prior to undisputed’s release. I have no drive or desire to play it. It feels depressing.
Alycia did a review of the game ? where ? can u link me up her review?-
It was just a long twitter post, type it up in google Ocerco🥊(i removed linking)
I payed and downloaded it on steam. Played like 10 minutes and refuned it. I am so thankful to Steam.
Currently they use just one, which means your opponent can get off 3 extra strikes before you recover.
wasted my money on this in early access because of the early promising footage and after all this time game is still smoke and mirrors
the overhand interactive game looks to be what undisputed devs think the game looks like
This is well put together, fair & pro customer 👍 5:24 That's the moment that SHILL convinced me to buy the Deluxe Edition, dude sold his subscribers down the river with that asinine quote.
