I get it, this is Jimin we are talking about. But I feel like behind the pretty face and magical voice lots of people just miss how amazing of an artist Jimin is. Jimin is a storyteller, whether it's with his vocals, dance moves or lyrics. He's a one of a kind super-star with insane talent! Like MJ (btw, Jimin's initials are JM 👀) You really should listen to his album *FACE* from top to bottom. The whole album is his journey through depression and loneliness during 2 years of the pandemic. As the story goes, he tries to escape it all by drinking/partying, then breaks down, then depressed and completely lonely, then comes understanding and acceptance, after which he sets himself free of these negative emotions. The album is GORGEOUS! It's so great, literally my favourite release this year. I can't wait for his next project (which was hinted to be released at either end of this year or early next year)!

Jimin is my bias with Suga. I love their style most when it comes to solo stuff too. Jimin got me back to Kpop in 2020 after i fell out of it after 7years. He got my attention and managed to hold it. His voice is unique. It hits me. He was my only bias in BTS but then Yoongi started to creep up on me and bias wrecked me so often i said F it and now i am double biased. I love all BTS members but Jimin and Yoongi are just different.

It’s saying to the fans “I can be whoever you want me to be, you’ll come to like and want me because you’re the one who made me”, “look only at me, what kind of me do you want, I can be the filter that you apply to your heart” - first dressing in “female” clothes like the mannequin, then in “male” clothes like dancers, and finally in the red/purple outfit. (For the photoshoot for this, he even drew the bigender symbol on his arm as a temporary tattoo, which I found really cool!) Like taking power and control back from the situation he was thrown into where thousands of eyes and cameras are judging him and applying their standards/wants/wishes to him. Lots of thoughts, it’s hard to summarize in a comment 😅 Anyway, he’s super talented and smart and insightful and passionate and creative and just really cool 😂 Lots of symbolism and imagery in his work. In SMF Pt 2 the writing on his chest was a german poem by Rilke. “I live my life in growing orbits which move out over the things of the world.
