I did not feel safe there...u might have a house but locals are so poor. All houses have steel bars to prevent theft. So this house is for super millionaires
I know it's hard for us North Americans - poverty is not a crime. The difference between here and what I experience in NA is it is different. People maybe poor. But happy. Of coarse they want more. Who doesn't. But they don't live for it. Also people are poor not because they are alcoholics or drugs abusers / gamblers etc. They are because circumstances greater then them. Petty theft is different then armed robberies. This place is not known for this at all. Way more happens backs home in NA. Put on the news. The bars on Windows are similar to having alarm systems on your homes back home. It's not because people are trying to enter your home daily in Canada. It's in case. It's your home. As alarm systems and companies come more wide spread sure you will not see bars. For now it's easy and makes sense. Also keep in mind because of beautiful weather here year round - often older homes dont have Windows. So they put bars for peace of mind. It's not because people are kicking down the doors to steal your stuff lol. I know how you may have thought and felt ...But remember that's why so many north Americans stay stuck where they are...the fear of the unknown. Everything I own here has cameras - locks - no bars. Shit happens everywhere. Would never say it wouldn't here. But the analysis isn't accurate that's my point. I appreciate the comment as it opens the chance to clarify. Also you will see in SD windows see bars to keep children safe from falling from Windows. It's a great thing here for some reason. A light fear of the culture. Same with pools - big fear of drowning. Some of what you see on your 7 day trips are cultural too

All I can say is WOW, that place is amazing! Retirement for me is still a ways away but thats what Im talking about! And I think the price is Veerry reasonable! That looks like a 900k to a Milli place. Thank you, great job!

We pay 800 dollars for a 66 sq meter flat in Dubrovnik ….. 500 is reasonable
