I’m doing that tomorrow as soon as I get to the job site. I’m switching between a driver bit, a star and a 3/4 bit all day. That is an actual hack! Nice!
Vince often shows off those mini impact bits but never uses them or demonstrates with them. I hate them as they usually stick to the screw as I pull away after driving the screw. The 2” bits with the snap holder are the only way to go.
I personally think it’s more of a you run into a bunch of different screw heads doing service calls and you want easy access to the most common one a Philips, flat, square, hex and anything else a particular person need on their tool
I have the old bit boxes, and sometimes it takes an act of god to get the bit out of the case. I ended up picking up the Bosch bits on sale, and now that's all I use. The Bosch #2 Go off your butt phillips bit is absolutely amazing And the best fit i've seen to date
I know those Milwaukee bit holders are really snug (often so snug as to be a real pain to pull bits out - sometimes I have to revert to needle nose pliers). In this case though, they better be snug since if you put the belt clip back on and use it, the bit holder will be upside down while you're walking around. (I almost didn't recognize you, Vince, without the beard but the vouce was the same. Looks 15 years younger!)
I have a set that is plain ridicilous. You'll pull the holder out of the case before you get the bit loose. To get it back in you need to hammer it in. I only use them to replenish other sets.
No. I bought a 30 pack of those Milwaukee PH2 bits. It was a total ripoff. In 5 years, I've only use about 4 😂 I stopped losing bits a long time ago and I don't really break them.
To bad they have both the holes on each side so i will not be taking my belt clip off i will just turn the drill to the other side and put it on the other one
Those Milwaukee cases are the absolute worst. I’m a Milwaukee guy but they suck at making an easy out bit case. Especially their 1/4 inch speed drill bits
Oh good, so i knock em off every 10 seconds. And cannot hang it on my belt or pocket. Whatever would we do without such sage advice from a dude with soft hands
Let’s not even talk about using an impact on metal inserts in plastic, but why take off the belt slip when there’s mounting points on both side, why we claiming “tips” or hacks that you clearly don’t use because you sit in an office thinking of videos
If you need more than 1 Phillips bit in a day, you're doing something wrong or you need better bits.
What if you need a Phillips and torx? I use about 4 different bits a day...🤯🤯🤯
@@tray7111 still dont need like 8 of them ???
If you need more than two PH2 bits in a day, don't buy Milwaukee lol
@@boosted.Z so don’t put a bit in every spot
@@boosted.Z he means 2 separate size of bit lol

It faster to use 3 drills.
@@weareyouare2680 seems like that would be very heavy on a tool belt or just a lot to haul around
Did it work for you? Not sure if it’s because I have newer bits or because I have a compact m18 but the screw was too short 😂😂
I currently use quick release bit carrier thought it’s attached to my pouch.

A quick wiggle side to side resolves that problem
I’m not giving up my belt clip, i also keep a bit holder on my belt loop
If you have another screw for the hook, there is a screw hole on the left and right sides
I personally think it’s more of a you run into a bunch of different screw heads doing service calls and you want easy access to the most common one a Philips, flat, square, hex and anything else a particular person need on their tool

Luckily I get to use Robertson bits in Canada, I don’t need to go through 5 bits in one day, I use one a month
Nobody's going through 5 Phillips heads in a day down here
Go get my maple syrup Sally
On the bosch GDR 18V-200 there is a belt clip on one side, and a bit holder on the other
Cool....but I only have the M12 Fuel Gen 2 impact and hammer drill...so that don't work for me 😢
Nice one vince heve a good weekend man .
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot on this video...😂
What type of screw is used here ?
Could you not just use another screw and use the mounting point on the other side for the bit holder? That way you still have your clip.
Thanks for the great Tip Vince
You bet!
How bits a day are you breaking?
So much more useful than a belt clip.
No. I bought a 30 pack of those Milwaukee PH2 bits. It was a total ripoff. In 5 years, I've only use about 4 😂
I stopped losing bits a long time ago and I don't really break them.
Why did you take the hook off there is 2 mounting points
I’d rather get an extra screw and put it on the opposite side of the belt clip
That’s a good one!
He lied!! Not sure if it’s because I have the compact driver but the screw is most definitely too small!!
Tranquilo Jhon cena 😂😂
Get a bigger screw and you can have both attachments!
Or leave the belt clip and do this on the other side of the impact.
Definitely see the beauty !!!
Sometimes I think maybe I should have gotten into Milwaukee instead of Dewalt & Flex. Maybe I’ll just get them all.
Hmm VCG probably voting Red in November
What if I only have 1 drill?
That belt clip is way more valuable
Far Vince looks young as
You need a drill to drill a screw into a drill just to drill screws
Construction boys are so cute lol
I think if you switch to robertson #2 you will be much happier
Yep 👍
Sure but the belt clip is way more useful than 73 of the same bit. Who even uses Philips heads anymore anyway
Genius!!!!!
wow.
Why not put it on the other side
Just needs another mounting screw
Are you bringing bits for all your friends?
To bad they have both the holes on each side so i will not be taking my belt clip off i will just turn the drill to the other side and put it on the other one
Now i can find my drill
🔥🔥🔥
Those Milwaukee cases are the absolute worst. I’m a Milwaukee guy but they suck at making an easy out bit case. Especially their 1/4 inch speed drill bits
But you need pliers to get the tips out.
How about we… leave the belt clip and mount the Philips bits on the other side? Lmao
And to think I bought a bit holder that holds 4 bits. And whole time I could have just taken a rack out of my little case and screwed it on wow
I don't like the fact that you took off the belt clip in most cases I want to put the drill on my tool belt and maybe move my ladder or something
Who’s that young guy?
Negative, I normally use all my bids, and more. Even my 90 degree adapter at times.
A in a brilliant idea but now how am I going to carry it on my belt
Cute tune!
Plot twist…. There’s another hole on the other side….. so you don’t need to remove the belt loop lol
Idk man, i just love that hanging hook, hang it on my pouch or belt lmao
I love it but you are sacrificing a super valuable belt clip
you can use it on the other side
@pubghater9885 You could also purchase a belt clip and bit holder all in one
So cool, thanks Vince for the great idea.
Any time!
If you are going through a whole set of philips in a day.... stop now
Yeah, I don't think i've ever had a phillips bit destroyed in one day. It usually takes me at least a couple hundred screws before the bit is worn out
Till your damn screw fell out and went missing lol
Oh damn!
I love how humans use impacts for EVERYTHING. Even a tiny 4mm screw🤦🏼♂️
@@tylerhannah4081 🤣
You mean now I don’t have a belt clip so it’s just going to infuriate me all day.
Mind blown 😮
😉
Oh good, so i knock em off every 10 seconds. And cannot hang it on my belt or pocket. Whatever would we do without such sage advice from a dude with soft hands
Too bad it doesn't just snap on there. That'd be great
🤯
😮
Sweet 🎉

You need that many Phillips just to get through a job. What a junk bit.
Nah it doesn't latch on like the packouts do😂
It was the beard , I don’t trust you anymore
I detect a Philly accebt
Philips are bad don’t know why they are ever used. Robertson so underrated
12 years in commercial construction I never thought to do this. Mannn!!!
nah time waster just take your standart bosch bitbox.
Or hear me out....use your pocket
That is completely useless
I in fact do not love it
Bet he doesn’t know how to use a tape measure 😂😂😂😂
Plot twist…. There’s another hole on the other side….. so you don’t need to remove the belt loop lol
