Good to see Norman getting more work, great actor. Loved him in Boondock saints

He was in Blade.

Tom Hardy channeling Marlon Brando from the Wild Ones in this one?
Or that biker gang dude from Fixing the Shadow :)
Whole vibe from this movie feels like wild angels
First thing I thought, he knows nobody even knows what that movie is 70 yrs later. And Reedus doing the Rocky "Mask" Dennis thing? Not sure this is gonna be a keeper, probably just watch a few early Nickolson movies or maybe C.C Rider w Namath and Ann "Marg-rock" Margaret for my bike fix
seems like it .
hardy is good for this role .
My first thought.
I can already see all the new riders. All because of this movie.
Agreed! I feel like social media brought more interest in cruisers in general.
All the _cosPlay_ idiots are going to break out their SOA kit and play tough.
On the bright side, just think of all the _"new,"_ low mileage, used bikes for sale when the temperature drops.
Who cares
Yup, good call.
This is a bad thing?

This looks so good. Nice of them to put a few American actors in the film.
LOL I was thinking the same thing. Tom Hardy = British, Jodie Comer = British. I hope they are casting American actors at the BBC!

It turned into organized crime pretty quick. From "biker club" to running guns, drugs, extortion, any number of other felonies. Biker club was just a front for their criminal activity.
I hope it's as good as the trailer. Nice to see a movie about men. It's been too long.
No shit. I'm half expecting for a bait & switch to an Uber empowered woman & DEI BS.

Why did they have to give Norman Reedus meth mouth?
Why not ?
Probably because his character smokes meth
I'm guessing the films crap and they will do things like this to compensate
Because he's an actor and wants to try something new
The only problem is he talks like he has a mouth full of something, like how people sound like when they have fake vampire teeth in
"We missed ya Johnny, all the Beetles missed ya!"
Norman is wayyyy too handsome to do him like that lol. Excited for this movie. Some great actors. I love Tom Hardy. And Norman Reedus 😻
Norman said he made the look so he didn’t look like Daryl
He said "you got a lot of good looking guys in this film can I go another way?" Director said sure
Anything is a step up from that dogshit zombie show.
This is actually about the Outlaws MC.
Johnny was the president at one time as well, his story is amazing and tragic. He died right after the Outlaws civil war ended. Benny is a fictional character though
@@CeeforeCivil War? Then that might mean the Vandals will have one too which will even be more tragic

Dude thank god there was that trailer for the trailer.
This is going to probably be the movie of the year honestly.
nah... it looks actors and lame. Maybe its trying to look cool but it'll be a talk fest.
@@MicahMicahel Has 3 of some of the most biggest male actors currently and it's a true story of history. Going to be some real bad directing if it flops.
@@Biggiejohn I actually liked Mud and Take Shelter so it could be good but they seem to show too many actors in sth preview. THEre's a type of movie that has a lot of actors 'acting.' those movies are usually too talky and you have to be in love with the actors. Since he's made tow good movies maybe this is good but the trailer seems to rely on this implied charisma of every character.
There's a type of critic that says, "I could watch his actor read the telephone book"
they're really just in love with the actor.
The Dead Dont hurt is gonna take that role Viggo killed it
looks like some kind of throwback to a 50s era Sons of Anarchy.
I cant believe they didnt make the biker club inclusive! The guy that made this movie is a hero for not putting any girl bosses, black women, and gays in this movie...good for him for making it realistic.

Agreed
I wanna see this in theaters.
Why's Hardy doing an Elmer Fudd impression?
He had tapes of the real Johnny talking. He learned his Chicago accent-they all did for their characters, especially Jodie Comer. Makeup and costumes were taken from photos of the real Outlaws. Nichols did a heck of a job directing this movie and the casting is fabulous.
@@marijanewernsman6134 Seems like if your name is Tom and you get in a movie with Austin Butler you have to do a ridiculous voice. Just ask Tom Hanks.

playing what role?
This looks good. You know it's going to do well, too. Audiences are clamouring for traditional a story telling, that isn't just completely, overt propaganda.
I hadn’t heard of this yet but I just barely heard one word come out of Norman Reedus and I immediately knew it was him lol so this is a perfect role for him! I adore Tom Hardy and he is gorgeous, first thing I remember him being in that I noticed was as Bane then in 2 months later he played as a historical figure in Lawless, he did phenomenal in both! I love how he can play a serious role and play in a comedy just as amazing! So he is one of the best actors out today by far I think. I first seen him as Bane and he did phenomenal then he played only 2 months later in a completely different kinda movie in Lawless based on a true story he played Forrest Bondurant, it’s story line took place during prohibition. It was him and his 2 brothers him being the oldest that was said those boys can’t die. He was phenomenal in it. Proved he could be funny in Venom! Plus the many other things I’ve seen him in. Now I’ve only seen Austin Butler play Elvis but I don’t know much about about Elvis but I thought he did great tho! I am super excited to watch this! I also LOVE Michael Shannon he is such an amazingly gifted actor as well!!!!

Love him in Mr. In Between.
"Tucker! Tucker?"
You ever seen The Tourist?
If the Sons of Anarchy aren't in it, I ain't watching it. I want Jax Teller to come back from the dead and be like "I'm back, baby." Then rock n roll starts playing, and we're all like hell yeah!!!! Wooooooooo!!!!!!! Then off camera someone says "don't forget about me" and Clay Morrow walks up and everyone is like woaaaaaaahhh! Welcome back brother. And then they all blow each other.
If The Outsiders was on motorcycles.

Norman got whiter teeth during the apocalypse than this movie 😂
I watched "Sons of Anarchy" and "Mayans" cool bikes, tough chicks, etc. - it's "gangster noir".
The characters are mostly reprehensible criminals but they love their family, so ...? It's just a story, I guess,
yea I always found that hillarious...they murder and torture other people yet "love" their family / kids.... whole thing is silly. Biker clubs are fronts for organized crime.
Tom Hardy and Brass Knuckles are as good a combination as Peanut Butter and Jelly. He probabnly kept that pair from "Legend."
Or the pair he had in "Lawless"
Is this film about the outlaws motorcycle club?
I believe so
Yes

@@nedmerrill6228 it’s still incorrect so I guess they don’t read the comments anyways.
We're living during an epidemic of illiteracy.
Isn't this movie supposed to be based on Outlaws MC?
It is, and Funny Sonny played by Norman Reedus was a Hells Angel. He became great friends with the Outlaws. There's even an eerie photo of him on the same bike as an Outlaw, crazy to think about considering the war a few years later
Yes the shot of the rider looking back on the bridge is a famous photo of the Outlaws in Louisville Ky.
And Cal was an HA too, ended up joining the OL's. That was the whole reason for Funny Sonny showing up, to bring Cal back. Instead he ended up staying awhile.
I have a couple pics of Funny Sonny that aren't in the book. One shows him standing on a porch with Outlaws and a Pagan.
As of about 10 years ago or so, he was living south of me in Seattle.
@@dogstarstudios718Do you know if he's still alive? I learned about him when I was pretty young and I hope he's doing good

I so can not wait to see the first trailer for HAVOC. The movie Hardy has done with Gareth Edwards.
The Barry Kripke voice, the prop teeth, uncustomized bikes. It all misses the mark imo
Motorcycle gangs are cool. I'm envious. Matching outfits. Good friends. Going on zany wacky adventures. Lucky
Let's see if the bikes are accurate to the time period.
Not really. And Benny is riding an Evo motor.

i own a biker jacket which is my pride and joy, found it at some shop on the coast years ago, my friends ride and now im thinking, what if i take a test and get my licence? it actually only takes a day to get ur certificate, where im from
@mynameismattfirered9276 depends on where you go brotha, I went to a riding school for 3 days where they give you a bike and they teach you there, 3 days of riding lessons and then you pass the test last day of. Couple days later pass the M1 Test at DMV and became certified 🙌🏾
All these Chicago bike rider gangs have New York accents. Interesting
They're just busy tryna get rid of their native British accent
who is this supposed to be about the outlaws
There seems to be two types of bikers in this film: greasers and long-haired bikers. I wonder what conflicts they'll have.

Another Hollywood glorification of something that is in reality absolutely 💩
Nope...it's based on the story of the Outlaws so history really
@@robbieracer3294 .....at best, very loosely based. This is an attempt to cash in on SOA and The Mayans. Motorcycle clubs are not what is portrayed in these Hollywood productions at all. Based off of the real Outlaws at the time
Saw in theaters opening night. Liked but they could have easily done so much more especially with that stellar cast. Vintage harleys and clothing = cool. Also great music , wardrobe and vibes. But it felt slow and blah like a history channel documentary .
could have done less jodie comer ditzy voice and constant complaining about boyfriend being in a Mc club. some good moments but they failed to capture the essence of being a true biker, was the typical Hollywood outlaw 1%er biker plot. Huge plus theres no woke baloney in this movie at all

I don't get all the hate for motorcycle riders in the comments. Do any of you ever stop to think that maybe you are the problem? If anyone on a motorcycle ever gave you problems it's most likely because you did something dangerous and nearly killed them without even realizing it. If you have a problem with clubs and men "dressing up" you better not be a supporter of this trans or furry nonsense or be at risk of being a hypocrite.
Tom Hardy, Genius actor.
Reedus character gives me undercover cop vibes
Been thinking this since I first saw the trailer. Recommend the book “Under and Alone”. Written by an undercover AFT agent who puts an entire gang away.
this looks to be the worst movie ever, its almost like a parody of 60s bikers? A big carricature. Also, Austin Butler is about the least convincing tough guy.. barbara streisand has more masculinity than this guy will ever have.

I grew up in the 1 percenter community. I don't like these movies. The whole lot was nothing but social rejects that believed in thug justice. As a child, I never had to worry. There were lines you never crossed. How they treated each other was inhumane. These dramas never come close to touching the true horrors that occurred in these communities.
