    Thoughtful; thank you. I have the same leather hub shines from Jim Barrett.

      Thanks Mitchell. Hope you are finding them useful. They definitely keep mine cleaner than before. One less thing to clean as often!

    Excellent advice! 🌟 I only go up to 100 psi in my tyres...but I will try 110 as I need all the traction help I can get 😉 - drying out the stem bit is one I learned from my first Brompton and wish I’d known to look out for before - it’s insidious but bites over time. Stay safe and keep going with the beautifully produced videos - you have covered the proverbial waterfront completely 🤩 I’m pleased as anything with the recommended leather hub cleaners and bag release - great idea! 👍

      Thanks Amanda. Yeah prefer it at 110psi but a bit bumpier. Glad the hub cleaners and bag real ease is working well 😀👍 stay safe!

    Another great video-great tip about stem as I haven’t washed my Brompton yet-thoroughly recommend the Brompton toolkit-so cool-also the spare inner tube inside the other tube frame.

      Thanks James. Yeah the Inner tube in the frame is a good one. I think when I get the tool kit I will look at that. The stem is an interesting one and definitely think its something to bear in mind when riding in the rain or washing it. The Brompton tool kit is on the list to get soon hopefully!

    This may sound like a silly question but what Oil do you use?

    • @CycleEveryday
      @CycleEveryday  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Kimberley. It's not silly at all and should have mentioned it. I just use a wet oil. It is Finish Line Wet Chain Lubricant which can be used all year round. Good for the Uk when its raining and icy this time of year. You can get Dry oil but that is mainly for warmer climates not like the UK. Hope that helps?

      Thank you for that. I’m waiting for my Brompton which is due this month. I can’t wait. Your videos are very informative.

    Why do you wash the rear wheel? Water will get in the hub

    • @CycleEveryday
      @CycleEveryday  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If it was a high speed jet wash then it probably would. Washing it with a watering can is unlikely to get water in the hub though. 👍
