Used this video to replace the switch in my 2012 Escalade. Also used 1A’s diagnostic video for power seats and deduced it was the switch because recline and forward/back stopped working but tilt and lumbar still worked.

The back part of my seat wont go down so my seat is currently stuck at like a downward angle, could this be the problem? If so could you give me a direct link for the switch for a 2007-2013 Silverado LTZ please. Thank you.

My driver seat on my 2007 Chevy Tahoe LT won't move forward or backward. How will I know if it's the switch or the motor that needs to be replaced?

+Kimberly Broomfield We recommend taking it to be looked at by a mechanic as we are unable to diagnose online. Thanks for watching.

I had the same question. I’m thinking if there is a switch on the other side maybe replace it with a working one and see if that works? I’m going to try it.

  • @gregsprayberry9431

I have a 2009 Chevy Sub. and the front passenger will not move up or back. I found out that if I wiggle the big plug under the seat on the passenger side, the seat will work. If someone sets in the back passenger side and their foot hit the plug, the seat stops working again. Is there a wiring harness that I can buy to fix this?
