Hi @@PilarFrancisco-Saguil That is nnly true with some European Airlines like KLM and SAS. Even Easyjet allows 15 kg, which is 33 lbs. That being said, I weighed the bag, with my computer and it came in as 16.6 lbs, or 7.5 kg. The backpack is very light. The rolling version of the bag weighs more but less than a regular carry-on does. I hope that helps!

I have the original version of this bag and I LOVE IT! I took only this bag to Ireland in the spring for a 2 1/2 week trip. Fantastic! I've been watching for the new version to come out and will order it now! Can't wait to see it!

Great review of a terrific bag. Considering all the features I was sure it would be in the $200 + range. What a deal! But we need another color. Doesn't need to be super girly, just not black. Looking forward to checking out the rolling bag.
Hi @bluegumbo6014 The bag is so inexpensive for what it gives you in features (and an additional 5% off isn't bad) I agree we could use additional colors. They used to make one in a dark purple but they stopped. I'll pass that on to the company! I'll be putting out the rolling bag this time next week!
What a great deal! My pet peeve is a huge laptop area because it wastes so much space. This design without it is great - I would do what you did and just put my laptop in it its own protective sleeve if I needed to take it at all.

Hi @ajcab819 I liked the option of not losing space to a laptop and I used the front pocket with a sleeve and that worked well for me. But then these things always come down to personal preference and there is no wrong or right.

HI @kryssygee4814 . The backpack is only 2.5 lbs!. The roller bag is heavier at 5.5 lbs. You must have watched the video with the bag full. I can really stuff a bag, LOL. If you are traveling on Air Canada this bag will fit, but I would test the bag first to make sure that you haven't over-stuffed the bag.

ARGH! The video dropped a bit on the final width measurement...was that 7"??? ..Well, I'm a month away and down to 2 possible personal item bags after having returned several and kept one which turned out to be too small (The MyGreen, that conforms to European sizing...but I LOVE it, as a messenger tote to keep for home use). This bag looks GREAT and I may try it in a last ditch effort...but beware of sizing...I found out that the Airbus 350 that I'm taking on Delta has underseat space of 16 x 12 x 7.5! This makes it tougher than you think as the first leg is OK, but the international leg sizing is smaller! I tried a couple of "square" ones that are too rigid to really squish I do have more than the usual "medicinals," light but bulky. Very glad you really measure as you cannot believe half the influencers out there. Now, 2 bags left (a Lovevook backpack...sent the usual one back because of the stiff top ) and something from Walmart....that I think I can squish the top down a little on these. But this is not easy and when packed, all this is SO HEAVY! My 21.5" BritBag is only 6.5 pounds but now packed at about 15 lbs. LIGHT according to the pros, but combined...this is all very heavy for a 108 lb., 74 year old. DREADING THIS TRIP! (PS--that little black vest you discussed is my actual "comfort" bag...without it I would be doomed! I did a video of it on my channel).

Spent literally hours today messing around with the bags and finally got the Loveoook bag arranged to conform to the Airbus 350 (Comfort +) underseat space! YAY! A relief! And the weight is OK! But that little black vest is the real hero in all this! 🙂 I may be cutting back on a couple of shirts in my suitcase, but it's pretty good now and the key thing is that I got my sleep sheet into it!! Can't travel without that!
Perrie. I'm a little confused about the information in the description. It says that the bag has been tested as a personal item bag for United airlines. However the dimensions for a personal item for United airlines is 17 by 10 by 9. When you measured you said that it was 11 1/2 to 12 inches across. That's one and a half to 2 inches too wide.
HI @JD-zt3nr The bag is very flexible and since United has more depth if you don't stuff it (pack it as I did)) it will fit into the sizers (as tested by the owner) but I might try it out myself since I like to know for sure.
