Pros
- Another continuation of the Eachine/Volantex warbird series. Nice 365mm wingspan flying model of the Fighting Falcon.
- Three channel control of throttle, ailerons, and elevators.
- Gyro stabilization system with three selectable modes of Beginner, Intermediate (Midd), and Expert flier.
- Automatic acrobatics button conducts automatic aileron rolls on command. The rolls are very rapid, and can be conducted at low altitudes without hitting the ground.
- One key return will automatically fly the aircraft the opposite direction that it was pointed as set on the gorund.
- 1020 brushed motor provides plenty of power and speed to this plane.
- Powered by common 3.7V 400mah battery.
Cons
- Brushed motor. It will eventually need replaced.
- Advertised as four channel. In reality, the vertical stabilizer has a fixed rudder. Also, rudder control appears to do nothing when applied in flight.
- Advertised at up to 14 minutes flight time. More realistic is about 6 minutes.
- Requires getting it up to speed for smooth level flight. Gets jittery at low speed. Hand launches also require pulling back on the stick at full throttle until you gain sufficient speed for level flight.
- Great for intermediate and advanced pilots. It's a lot of fun. But I personally would not recommend it for beginners. The flight speed of this plane is a bit high for beginners to stay ahead of. A good sized flying field is also recommended due to its speed.

What do you think flies better the Eachine F22 or this one the F16?

@@Quadcopter101 Thank you! Yes I know I already have the Eachine P-51D and I wanted a jet plane. I already have the XK A-100 and it's quite fun to fly but it's using differential thrust and elevators to turn as you already know. I want something more closer to the real thing. This one as more control surfaces which is good. I am hesitating between this and a 50mm edf jet. I am not a begimmer pilot even if I find those small planes fun to fly.

@@warmiceUT I have just ordered the Volantex P-51D which is bigger in size it's a 750mm wing span. I'm still hesitating as which jet I will buy next. Maybe the Eflite Viper or the Yaboot J10B or the Delta wing 50mm from Banana Hobby. I'm hesitant because of their low flight time... It would be great if they would do research for better batteries with more amps and less weight which would in turn make the flight much longer. As 3 minutes flight time is not much.

Better to bind to the Radiomaster where you could put expo to mellow it out. I use my Radiomaster with my little C-17 with a few mixes and flies great
If I get radio master zoro 4 in 1 I can use it for these types of planes

Does anyone here know how to get a new propeller on! Mine broke during a grass landing and I’m having trouble pushing the new propeller on. I don’t want to push the motor out of its mount.

What type connector did you say this needed my good man for the batteries also I’ve seen you put camera setups on some small birds before do you think I could fit a lightweight camera on this
White Losi connector. It's a very common connector on 1S Lipo batteries.

It may be possible to put a small all-in-one FPV camera on this. But the added weight would require even faster flight to stay airborne. Due to the small wing area, it's going to have difficulty lifting it.
@@Quadcopter101 I know what you mean I’m gonna try to find me a nice weight 3.8v 1s to try and fit in to this bad boy or maybe like a 30-35c 1s and I have the fatshark 900tvl or sjcam 600 I could throw on there both very light weight and could even out the cg if I had a heavier battery

what do u think is better the f22 or f16 from this brand
I'm not a fan of either. They're a bit too fast and squirrely for beginner pilots. They also only fly for about 6 to 7 minutes per charge. The following are more aerobatic and easier to fly by new pilots. Some also get close to 15 minutes of flight time. And yes, you can use the same Eachine controller with any of them.

Actually it does have a 4 channel RC system - Aileron, Elevator, Throttle and Mode Change. The "4 channel" Mini Mustang, Sport Cub 500 etc are really 5 channel. Also the tail elevators are operated by separate servos, so that if the Aileron servo is lost, this (like the F22) will revert to 3 channel Taileron control. Glad to see that yours doesn't seem to show any sign of the receiver firmware problems that several folks have complained about in the F22 lately. (We have 1 that is quirky and 1 that is unflyable out of the box.)
The less than lanolin smooth hands and occasional script stumble remind us of how old we're getting these days. But, if we all steer clear of the virus spreading nut cases, we should all be able to enjoy Quadcopter 101 updates on our favourite toys for many more years yet. ;-)
