Pros
- Very clean configuration, with no protruding pushrods or control horns. Instead, the plane uses hidden control levers attached to their also hidden internal servos.
- Can be quickly assembled and disassembled for transport or storage. The wings and horizontal stabilizer are quickly and simply snapped into place.
- Four channel RC aircraft (throttle, aileron, rudder, and elevator control ).
- 6 axis stabilized (three axis gyros, and three axis accelerometers). If you get into trouble, switch to Normal mode and let go of the sticks. The plane will quickly and automatically level itself.
- EPP foam body, with EPO foam crash absorbing nose. The plane is very crash resistant as demonstrated in the video.
- Selectable two position switch on the controller allows easy transition between two available flight modes. "Normal" mode provides gyro stabilized flight with automatic leveling. Should be very easy to fly by most beginner pilots. Second "Sport" mode also includes mild stabilization, but turns off angle restrictions allowing aerobatic flight.
-The controller includes a "Trick" button thagt conducts an automatic loop of the plane for beginner fliers.
- Although the controller has no trim buttons, unstable pitch, roll, and yaw can be corrected by calibrating the aircraft's stabilization system. Level the plane on a flat surface and connect it to the controller. Then move and hold both control sticks downward and outward to calibrate.
- Brushless 1406 KV2500 motor. As this is a pusher plane, the motor and its propeller should be well shielded from damage for most crashes.
- Common 7.4V 300mah battery with red JST connector provides about 18 minutes of flight time. Low voltage cutoff shuts down the motor when voltage drops below 7 Volts (3.5V per cell).
- Extremely light weight at only 146 grams with its installed battery. May not require registration in most countries.
Cons
- Instructions did not include propeller assembly. However it was relatively intuitive how to connect the propeller (although some may make the mistake of installing the propeller backwards if not careful).
- Propeller does not fold when unpowered, so it will create some drag when gliding.
- I'm not sure that all of the crashes that I encountered were entirely my fault. Extreme maneuvers might loosen the quick attach wings and stabilizers so that they become disengaged from their control levers. This can be easily corrected by attaching some small pieces of cellophane tape at their roots to more firmly hold them in place during hard maneuvers.

We've got both this & the tractor S720 from Banggood. Both pretty good units though I would concur with your advice to add a bit of tape to assist in holding the clip-in bits in place. The elevator halves in particular have only a fairly small engagement pin on the servo cams. This is tail heavy even with the added ball bearing in the nose cover. With a larger battery (we used the 500mah from the XK X420 which fits after you trim a bit of foam out) and an added 4-5gm AIO the COG shifts forward a bit. Be nice to have the chance to use a more capable Tx with this (& its mate) but they both work well for beginners.

Very cool I'm really thinking about getting one I just built a 4ft 6inh wing span foam plane I had 2 gas powered trainers 4 ft wing span 46 OS motor 20yrs The guy that was training me crashed the first one into a tree lol he could fly great he just wasn't paying attention the second one I let my brother put the elevator on it when I was putting it together big mistake lol It came off and went into a spin 100ft up and smashed into the ground I have flown 15 20 times but I think I should get a plane like this one and get some practice before I put my big plane in the air it's not going to have safe and very little dihedral lol so yeah I better start with something with self leveling Great Flying I subbed 👍✌️

That extra part DOES apply to the airplane--it's the bracket that screws directly into the motor on which the propeller is mounted. There can be crashes that break it, however unlikely in this model.
Mine seems to be flying just fine without it ;-)
@@Quadcopter101 It wouldn't ! :) It's a spare--you already have one on yours! If you take the prop off you'll see it mounted on the brushless motor.
I have the S720 (prop up front) and it's a more meaningful spare to have on that one.
I got a bad one, wing does not fit properly, quality control is a bit iffy. I have about 10 flights and now the rudder is acting up, and not trims to correct it, and no spare parts are available as yet. Also you do not mention that it is really tail heavy, can even see it in your flight, I had to add 14grams of lead in the nose. It may be designed for a camera in the nose for FPV but still. Have you tried the out of range test, switching off the controller, it will go into a circle mode, do that on your next video
Ruudy, have you tried calibrating the gyros to possibly correct the rudder issue? To do such, level it on the ground and move and hold both sticks down and outward.

this reminds me of an inexpensive, mini version of the XK A1200 flight stabilized plane. Same build concept and gyro. Every time you make a video, my debit card takes a hit.

WBOWQS Your right My XKA1200 is the best plane ever,I have crashed it severed it in half and hot glued it back together countless times...it just won't quit. And trust Me My wallet takes a hit as well when I watch his videos.
@@brookcove4305 Brook, I just crashed my A1200 hard over the weekend. I was trying to learn how to fly without the flight stabilizer and did not switch back in time. It did a tip stall and dove into the ground. Not the fault of the plane. I hope to glue it. still a great plane.

Once again you show us "HOW TO " thank you. I know this is off topic for this plane but I wanted to find your most recent video. I have a Holy stone HS 100 quad. I need info on cameras, the stock camera is ok but not the best and a major fish eye view. I would like to upgrade it , a plug and play , not too very expensive if possible . I would also like to know how to record the osd so it will show the telemetry if there is a function on the drone that does that or a firmware upgrade that would include a screen recorder, or if there is another app that would be compatible. Lastly what type of hat camera do you use ? Thank you so much for all the great videos, you are the reason I got into quads. Your review on the Syma x5c was my first ( I have lost 2 of them). WL.
I wouldn't know about a replacement camera for the HS100. But for recording my phone's screen, I use Mobizen screen recorder available here play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rsupport.mvagent&hl=en_US
And I use the Mobius standard camera on my hat. Been using it for over 6 years. It's still available for sale here bit.ly/Mobius-Cam

Yes, it's meant to counter the torque of the propeller.

No, it won't. It has its own proprietary protocol not compatible with Spektrum DSM DSMX protocols.

That actually sounds like a great idea. Not much new drones or planes coming from China these days due to the virus. So maybe I'll do some gee wiz flights with the better planes and drones that have come out the past few months.
