In the midst of the 1970's emerged the bands now legendary as Glam Rockers. SWEET, not satisfied with being one of the pack, slapped on the paint and went out of their way to become more outrageous.
SWEET had 15 Top 40 hits in the UK alone and went on to sell well over 20 million units worldwide. They achieved 3 Top 40 singles in 1971 with Funny, Funny, Co-Co and Alexander Graham Bell followed by 3 more hits in 1972 with Poppa Joe, Little Willy and Wig Wam Bam and finally the coveted #1 slot in January 1973 with Blockbuster!
This DVD brings together all of SWEET'S Greatest Hits and includes rare performances of their self-penned heavier tracks as well as bonus material from the original 16mm films that SWEET recorded to promote their singles worldwide.
