Very nice detailing & seamless integration of materials. Void of extraneous details & fluff. Very tastefully done. Clean. Narrow lots can be challenging.
The use of oak wood gives the house a natural look. I love houses that treat the value of timbers with respect; allowing the look of natural wood to bring out the feel of a proper family home, but with a touch of gloss. Paint does not always do justice when it comes to aesthetic. In this case, natural and paint merge well together.
Wow a beautiful harmony of farmhouse and contemporary architecture. It stays classy throughout the house while being warmly welcoming and friendly.

This home has some of the most amazing details and luxurious marble. It's so unique looking from the exterior. I love that every bathroom is different, and the last one with the floor to ceiling marble shower was my favorite. The glassed encased office was a surprise that you normally don't see, most homes are staged with the office on the main floor. I LOVE brass details...so that master bathroom took the cake!!! The attention to detail is amazing with the brass handles, light fixtures, and the HUGE master bath faucet handles...so grand and glam....loved this home.

Very nice home. Love all the details including the dark cabinets in the kitchen. The marble is unreal. The back yard not so great but that is just the location.

I love the rest of the house and the color pallette, the only thing I didn't like was the Informal living room and the dining room
My knowledge of L.A. real estate may be off, but 4.3M for this house???? I can see some of the items that would make this house expensive to build, but as nice as this house looks, it is very narrow in a lot of areas. The spacing they made was wrong. It definitely had a lot of nice touches, but the architect didn't do a good job when he was designing this home.
The interior architecture is just a wow ♥️

As nice as this is it is toooo close to other houses and the tiniest yard I've ever seen. I know it's LA but I expect more for 4mil
the first floor feels like a tunnel. The kitchen is so small that the microwave has to be installed in the hallway. and the "side yard" is basically the neighbor's house.

I lived in the house next door 8233 W 4th st for many years until 07, this giant thing is SO out of place in that neighborhood, the neighbors must be so pissed, it is a really nice house just way too big and out of place for that area

Darren and Raul, can you please film different kinda homes. Not these 5 Mil copy of each other, just with few changes.
I really love this house and they did a great job, BUT...I have a really BIG BUT HERE, it doesn't fit with the surrounding buildings. Here you have this nice brand new house surrounded by these OLD not very well kept houses and apartment buildings. Which are all of a Spanish Mediterranean style. When they tore down the old house they should have built a home of Mediterranean style so it looks more fitting to the neighborhood. To this day I still don't understand why builders keep doing this, which usually happens in the valley. There's absolutely nothing wrong with tearing down an old house and building a new one in it's place. But the exterior style and design really has to complement and go with the surrounding homes or else it looks very out of place. It would be like a strong tornado taking a Toll Brothers house and dropping it in the worst ghetto neighborhood in Los Angeles. This happens in "The Valley" all the time. They tear down an old ranch house in a neighborhood filled with old ranch homes and in its place, a towering 10,000 sqft mansion is built.

Nice house, but in my opinion too much. The white and black details are nice (which I am partial to), but I do not care for all the white oak trim and flooring mixed in. It's too conflicting in my opinion, but otherwise a very beautiful house.
Nice home but for $4 million, I should not be able to reach out the window and hand my neighbor something.way to close.
