Why would I not
The color isn’t from the games but rather from the GBC BIOS recognizing those games and adding color from its own database of recognized games. Kirby is pink. Metroid II almost looks like a full color game!

I was about to flip out and say this too.
Also when you turn it on if your press the analog in different directions will the "Gameboy" start up screen comes on it will toggle through 4 different color variations.

None of the original Gameboy games had color support. False information. The software inside of the Game Boy Color/GBA hardware has a hard coded list of 94 different original Game Boy games with hand picked color palettes. Completely different from your claim.
Also pokemon red defaulted to a red pallet and pokemon blue defaulted to a blue pallet.
This is incorrect. Black and white, or gray scale, are still based on colors. The Gameboy color recognized those colors by design.
The black cartridge games are the ones that were GameBoy/Pocket supported and actually had color built into them.
The original Game Boy games never had color. Those were recognized by its successors.

That’s one of the gbc’s color palettes. Any original gameboy game you put in a gbc will be able to be seen with color palettes.
That’s for all gb games and if you push the dpad and buttons they change colour
