Thank you for the nice comparison. I have just purchased a teal Tsuyosa for my father and am seriously tempted to get this version of the NB1050 for myself. That blue looks fantastic in any videos I have seen.
I'm confused which one I should pick.. either Seiko SSC813 or this NB1050 .. both watch prices are literally the same on my country.. I have 6inch wrist .. The blue dial on the NB1050 is really stunning..
Depends if you want an automatic or a quarz. I would, personally, choose the SSC 813 since I already have a lot of automatic watches. Also the build quality of the SSC813 is superb.
True concerning the warranty. Seiko USA didn't honor the warranty for my terrible JDM SBDC101. It even says in the warranty booklet: only valid in Japan. The same probably applies with the Citizen.
@stefpix Yes. But we are talking JDM models, not models sold internationally. Does your statement apply to watches only sold in Japan? That's what we are discussing.
@@RabbitWatchShop Citizen USA replaced the crystal to an old BM6400 and a BN0000 that I had bought used. So they have the parts. I bought Citizen watches from Europe, not sold in the USA, they come with a 1 year CItizen worldwide warranty card, NY0040, that I like better than the Fugu and are not sold in the USA.
Does the nb1050 overhang more on the wrist? Although it's a smaller diameter watch, the lug to lug including the male endlinks sounds like a lot at 52mm. Is there a sensible size difference when wearing them?
Doesn't overhang on my wrist. Might on a below 6 inch wrist. The Tsuyosa feels rounder. Citizen is going to come out with more colors of Tsuyosa. Orange dial will be one of them 😁
Your comparision is like comparing a Mercedes S vs C class. Not a fair comparison. The NB1050 is designed for those willing to spend more. The diifference in quality is obvious
So he found a one year old company in Pakistan to rip off their logo when he started the channel? A year before you even started your own channel? I find that hard to entertain, much easier is that both of you found it using Google..

Great video. Thank you for sharing your insights between these two excellent watches!
you are welcome 😁
I have both, the Tsuyosa in green face and the NB1050 (my wife bought while in Japan), its blue. Love both watches for their uniqueness's and quality.

Those are two very different watches, but I would go with the panda SSC813.
Appreciate the review. Planning on visiting Japan and wanted to get a JDM Watch. The NB1050 seems like a solid choice.
Nice - Enjoy your trip to Japan! I hope to visit there someday. When I do, I will for sure buy a watch.

Citizen offers 1 year international warranty, and 5 year of domestic warranty if bought from an authorized dealer nationally.
