@@chrisstanleyofficial LOL! I'd think so too! Dude, you totally nailed the the voices/tone/inflection that anyone can tell the Original TMNT movie is your favorite, and rightly so, because it cannot be beat! (..saw it opening night as a kid and still agree, it is the GOAT!)
I saw them live on tour back in the day... Greatest evening ever as a kid. Picked me up a Donnie mask, got home and grabbed a garbage can lid, some string and, a broom stick... No one was safe.
I loved how the turtles looked in the first movie. The way you couldn't see their eyes in down lighting was so cool and menacing kinda like the all white eyes of the comic
I wonder what ever became of the original promotional costumes for the Coming Out of Their Shells Tour. They looked almost identical to the movies. But apparently they were too heavy for the performers and we ended up getting the shelless looks with the denim vests and leg warmers.
There was a martial art's studio in Smithfield, North Carolina (during the early 90's and it was there a number of years); the instructor Johnny Holbrook was a principle foot soldier in TMNT 1 and 2. He had a foot soldier costume at the center piece of his studio, was so cool riding by in the car and seeing it through the window as a young kid, who was totally wrapped up in Turtles. Cape Fear Museum, Wilmington North Carolina has a Leo TMNT 1 head on display, as well as a Sai. Also, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina at one point they had TMNT 3 full Leo or Don suit, armor and everything on display - however that restaurant has since closed down, maybe those props went to auction? Great video Chris, loved the intro lol.
The Turtles from the coming out of our shell live action used to scare my nephew so much when he would watch the video cassette when he came over my place and I felt so bad for him. But your right Chris about those Turtles being nightmare fuel 😂 awesome video I've always wondered about the props and suits they used in the films. Have a great day my friend and thank you again.
Absolutely agree. TMNT it's my second favorite movie ever (behind T2) , I can watch it forever. 1990 Shredder it's one of my favorite villains in cinema.
I actually saw the Leo suit from the live tour at some place that’s either in Scranton Pennsylvania or Dickson city Pennsylvania it’s been a few years so I kinda forgot where exactly but from what I remember it’s in great shape and I took a photo of it
They filmed that movie in my state North Carolina I was a huge tmnt fan growing up I was born in 85 that and ghostbusters I didn’t know where it was filmed until a few years ago I might travel to the sites one day
This guy is amazing at voices, also helped me decide to get a batman costume. And absolutely is simply fun to watch....but man the other day i just had a few Australians come in and let us try vegamite. At my job, one reminded me of this dude chris so much. We Made a pizza with it...and it was delicious!!! Told them i want to put some in the dough itself when i make the dough and they gushed anout a bread thats in Australia and now i want to try that....i did however stupidly offend them by offering the name "the kranky"...i literally meant no offense but i felt bad after it, obviously... but haha they responded so quick with a great come back...instantly said. "ah yeah we could also call it "the eat shit"". Cause moments earlier i had actually fallen while carrying trays and they had recorded it. Ill post it whenever i get the video in a few months but it was hilarious how it all went down and im happy they took the piss out of my accidental insult by insulting my fall and then us all laughing after. All in all absolutely a fun day that i look forward to seeing the finished video (promotional video made by em. For our place)
TMNT 1990 is my favorite live action movie of all time. It has everything I enjoy; martial arts, creatures, comedy. My dream is to have a full teenage mutant ninja turtle costume. I've made made a few creature costumes, but still no turtle.
there's a few costumes I'd like to know the whereabouts. All from Mortal Kombat (original) Mortal Kombat Annihilation. Poison Ivy's and Bane's from Batman and robin, Barbara Bach's bikini from Caveman, numerous Bond props,. Secret of the ozze was rushed also. it's a good sequel, better than III, the 2014 thing (out of the shadows is ok, but it was unfinished really, too less Krang, bebop and rocksteady and shredder was under played) the Next mutation IS the 4th film, there's a fan edit of it and, pops up on ebay here and there, well done.
If the turtles were done today I would scale them down to the size of Baby Godzilla from the 90's and super impose them on screen. It worked for the 2003 series and can work in life action. Plus the technology we have today can improve both action and stunt suits by making the heads lighter and softer with using an Arduino beetle or custom boards to connect the micro servos that control the mouth, tong, eye lids, subtle eye movements and iris expansion/ retraction depending on the light source. While also taking a page from the Bat-Fleck suit by layering each foam piece over spandex and misting layer by layer of silicone rubber through an airbrush over fabric to help give the allusion of slimy skin. The shells would be 3D printed and backed with fiberglass but designed in CAD to have max flexibility that would allow the wearer to bend and twist without segmenting the entire piece all together similarly to 3D fidget toys.
I agree. Hollywood needs to learn to not over do it with cgi. Practical effects are still cool and useful. Mix it up better. Make a tmnt movie with original costumes and use cgi for where cgi is needed to make the story awesome. They could do krang now. That would be fun and cool. Maybe make a movie version of the pilot episodes of the 1987 cartoon
They filmed a ton of movies in Wilmington NC lol. Screen Gem studios lives here. When we had our tax incentives they called Wilmington NC, Hollywood east.
Why do you think the manhole cover has Los Angeles on it for Coming out of the shell? Always thought the Turtles were from New York? Nevertheless, appreciate your in deth look of the TMNT props
I have props coming in and the show’s “bible” as they call it with all the original art and story board stuff from The Next Mutation. All from the prop master that worked on the show.
Somebody Needs to find all of it, and make a TMNT Zombie Movie a "What if???" That would be Epic and Creepy as Hell. Just looking at these things is So Cringe you can't look away. As for da Foot they look like Mantis Bug... What kind of Zombie flick would it be about? I wish George A. Romero was still here with us he would come up with something, Tom Savini is still here.
Great work here. Uncanny Leonardo voice. I really appreciate all the time you put into these videos, and on the side note, could you please stop telling people to "sit back and relax" in the intros? Not only is it overused, but just to be contrary, I constantly have to pace around in a state of complete stress while watching.
I loved coming out of their shells... Watched that video like 1000 times. My mother hated it. Kept it to show us how dumb it was.... Still love it. Oh, skipping stones... If you know you know.
I grew up ninja turtles cartoons in the 80s an early 90s the first one was a masterpiece ,the second one was good enough to be watchable, the third one I only saw it twice and never saw it again I hated the Michael Bay movies they were an abomination
I have a few pieces of the Donatello stunt neck from Secret of the Ooze that was given to me by Steven Ho; the stunt Donnie actor.
your impressions were %100 spot on!
Haha, thanks man! My neighbours now think there’s more than two of us living in the apartment 😂

@@chrisstanleyofficial They will call your landlord now
Lol ahhh no
Raphael needs a little work but leo is so good
The condition of any of these is impressive. I have a bag of rubber bands that is maybe 6 years old, and a majority of them break when I stretch them.
I saw them live on tour back in the day... Greatest evening ever as a kid. Picked me up a Donnie mask, got home and grabbed a garbage can lid, some string and, a broom stick... No one was safe.

Casey Jones: New game. Cricket.
Raph: Cricket? Nobody understands Cricket. You need to know what a crumpet is to understand Cricket!
Pretty damn good intro impressions!
My favorite movie of all time. I always feel like Im 6 years old again every time I watch it.
I actually Brian Tochi (Leo’s voice actor) at Granite State Comic Con a few months ago.
As a fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles it's so sad to see the bad condition some of the movie props are in 😢
After those awesome impersonations, I didn’t expect you to have an Australian accent 😂👍🏽
Absolutely agree. TMNT it's my second favorite movie
ever (behind T2) , I can watch it forever. 1990 Shredder it's one of my favorite villains in cinema.
Grails would be a perfect Leo suit and a complete Shedder suit
That opening alone is worth a lime on the video 😂
I’m obsessed with this masterful film. Tops.
Splinter suit and Turtles suit could made from both Jim Henson company and Spectral Motion to next live action.
Impressions were very good
1:23 they do look better but I actually like the new one as well.
Also those Impressions, Chefs Kiss
So, that's also the wrong torso for Leonardo. Ralph and Donny, and then Mikey and Leo shared a body suit.
The turtles have aged just as good as most celebrities made of latex
I actually saw the Leo suit from the live tour at some place that’s either in Scranton Pennsylvania or Dickson city Pennsylvania it’s been a few years so I kinda forgot where exactly but from what I remember it’s in great shape and I took a photo of it

you gotta know what a crumpit is to understand cricket
Yeesh, those costumes look like they're the exhumed remains of the Turtles from an alternate universe where Shredder won.

Tmnt 1 and 3 are my favorite movies
2:32 really got me it was cute tho 😂😂😂
Nice impressions
I hope the Last Ronin live action movie is really gonna happen
TMNT 1990 is my favorite live action movie of all time. It has everything I enjoy; martial arts, creatures, comedy.

Power Rangers props video when?
Good video, btw, I love Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Your Splinter is pretty good.
We need a how to build a foot soldier costume
Jared is a friend of mine. I own a set of his sai and they are no joke legitimate.
Dude, that Raphael that you said wasn't from TMNT 3 because it doesn't have spots...it does have spots, they're just badly faded.
Crazy how I live like 30 minutes away from the birthplace of the TMNT in dover nh 💪🏽
A turtle looking like a frog.
Your Splinter is great!

@Weinertroner Best comment about the idea of material to make a suit.
5:04 Oh I’m gonna need to grab those prop replica weapons.

Leo's swords are actually Ninjatos
They also filmed iron man 3, Halloween kills and scream 5 I believe in North Carolina
They filmed a ton of movies in Wilmington NC lol. Screen Gem studios lives here. When we had our tax incentives they called Wilmington NC, Hollywood east.
@ it’s 3rd biggest studio I heard besides Hollywood and Atlanta that’s only few hours away least from where I am
@ crazy all this stuff going on around you and your totally oblivious @ me
Why do you think the manhole cover has Los Angeles on it for Coming out of the shell? Always thought the Turtles were from New York? Nevertheless, appreciate your in deth look of the TMNT props
1:17 Jim Henson thought so as well
I have props coming in and the show’s “bible” as they call it with all the original art and story board stuff from The Next Mutation. All from the prop master that worked on the show.

It's sad the meme nightmare fuel suit didn't sell. It desperately needs a refurbish.

16:16 that maquette has an interesting description, it's not from the 89 version, but early 2000s?
Now I will finish what I began with your ear
The Wilmington, NC hospital they transformed into Haddonfield hospital
Zu sehen wie die Turtles jetzt aussehen, macht mich echt traurig.
teenage zombie ninja turtles...
That last listing is literally just leo's corpse lmaoo
😂😂
the strap placement on the Leonardo refurb are on the opposite side of how it was brought in?
20:42 tell me that doesn't give Andre Braugher (Raymond Holt) vibes.
1:05 be a what now?
“We got the foot up dere with the ooze and we’re down here playin century 21”🤣
I only figured that reference out when I was older 😂😂
Yay im like #14!!
I have all the merch stuff from the tmnt musical I went to in like 1989 or 1990.
I still have coming out of our sgells on vhs. Lol. I'm pretty sure i got the movie at one of the shows.
Yeah, but- why is your Splinter perfect?
Why would that helmet be made out of latex? Seems odd.
I loved coming out of their shells... Watched that video like 1000 times. My mother hated it. Kept it to show us how dumb it was.... Still love it. Oh, skipping stones... If you know you know.
