I bought this gun and then found that when I mounted the rail (talley), the front of the rail is canted to one side. Went to a gun smith and they confirmed it. And they even say they've seen this happen with bergara rifles in the past. make sure you check yours. Basically the holes for the rings are not 100% lined up in mine.
Why not go with a break since it's light. Does the sound meas with u? Just pick your velocity and use what charge fits it. Then play with seating. It works great.
My PRs rifle has a break. I have the can so why not use it I guess. I would have to use factory break if I don’t use a can. Seating depth I will mess with after a find a good node.
Nice rifle seems to be very light the way it is jumping around but good for carry and moving between positions. I am wondering if you can lap the bolt lugs to make it a bit smoother.

I actually bought the Ckrye- pod on your recommendation as well. If you could take time to answer me, I really would appreciate it.

I know what ur saying on the action. I just got a savage to give ELR a try. I realized how spoiped i am with my zermatt actions lol. That gun being so light dosent help also.
Rick you need to smoothen out that bolt and make sure those magazines don’t give any problems during NRL Hunter matches otherwise you’ll be cussing and cursing at competition.
Has to be an optical illusion as it looks like your rifle is pointed at the moon for 100yrd target. When you were shooting at 100 yrds, rifle looked like it was at a 45 degree angle
@@EagleEyeShooting I use the soft side of the Velcro on all my guns I think I get the 2” and trim it to fit perfect you would be surprised how comfortable it is and if it gets dirty peel it off and it cost about a $1 to replace

@Isyour6covered® so u can run a 1k can but not a 200 aftermarker break , that makes sense lol. Sounds like the ATF made those rules.

I used a 90 degree for a spuhr scope Mount that I made work to screw into the thumb rest holes on the left side of chassis
@@IY6C after grinding the back of the mount , did the screw holes line up? And what screws did you use to mount to the thumb rest
They were off just a slight bit. Then used some spuhr screws or send it screws then ground it flat so level cap would slide down correctly

If weights not an issue you may want to go heavier for recoil and spotting shots
