I really love your designs. Kind greetings from the Netherlands.
Thank you very much!
These videos are amazing! Thanks for sharing.
I am so glad you like them!
glad to hear someone else doesn’t get on with montana! really good and helpful videos btw!!
Yeah, I see they work great for lots of people. Some work well for me, but Rustoleum is way more consistently successful.
Have you ever considered using a self itching primer? I've never personally tried to paint any of these cases like you have so it might not make a difference on that plastic but it could be a useful thing to try if you haven't already
I haven’t ever tried it, but that’s a great idea!
@OddViking Hopefully that might fix some of your adhesion issues. Thanks for the tutorials man I'm gonna put them into practice for my Sev build!
Amazing video do you use a mat or a gloss to seal your props helmets armour
I use matte / flat on most of them.
When you paint your cases, specifically the cases with hinged lids do you disassembled the case before painting?
No, they usually are assembled in a way that makes that very difficult to remove, so I just paint them attached.
At what stage do you add a clear coat in these? After primer or paint? Or do you just skip it in order to weather it?
I always wait until after weathering to clear coat, as sometimes it impedes the acrylic adhesion a bit.
Mistakes just add natural weathering!
Some do! Some are worth fixing... I know you go by the 10 foot rule! Mine is more like 10 inches... or even 10 centimeters!
