Litepro Easywheel Extender Installation for 3sixty, Pikes and Brompton

- If you are going to put some loads on your front block carrier for your 3sixty, Pikes or Brompton this is the practical upgrade that you can do to prevent your bike from falling on folded mode with loads on the front block carrier.
We experience this a couple of times, and it's really hurt to see your bike falling and you're not able to catch it.
I'm sharing this video so that you will have some idea what to do and what are the things you need, and how to do it by yourself. So that you will not experience those falls in folded position.

What brand of trifold bike do ypu have? Brompton or other brands like pikes or 3sixty?
For 3sixty, let's say the left wheel. Screw, washer, extender plate, conical spring washer, then the bike mounting point.
There's about 1mm clearance on a 2008 Brompton frame, you can just get one washer in on one side.

Did you have any experience the angle of the extender move even after tightening it? Especially so hitting something on uneven surface.
From the design, there is no support on the angle fixed and it is only by tightening. After the angle moved, it will hit the suspension block and if the extender moved another side, the suspension block will hit the floor.
After a long time, it happens sometimes, so I will just tighten it more. That’s why during the installation process never forget to install the conical spring lock washer. This helps to avoid movement or limit the movement.

Nice tutorial. I have a question though. Does the arm extend on its own when riding? Heard the Litepro extender has that problem. Can you kindly verify if you have faced similar issue while riding your bike. Tks.
Thanks! I didn't experienced that, the arm extending own its own? It's already a year since I installed the extender on my orange trifold bike and I still don't have that experience. Maybe others didn't push in properly. If that thing happens after pushing it correctly, then it's faulty and needs to be replaced. So far our 2 bikes with litepro wheel extender are still ok. The Quality is good! Worth buying!

Would this be suitable for P Line Brompton. I bought one extender but this would not fit on the P Line.Please kindly let me know.
I already installed this type on my friend's C-line Brompton and it was okay, You don't even need to put extra washer as spacers, only the conical spring lock washer which is a must. But for P-line I'm not sure. I think should be okay.

Rollerblade wheels are thicker than stock wheels, will it interfere with the paddling?
You have a point, it will cause heel strike on the 2 wheels near the suspension block.
