Fit and finish is excellent, with the exception you noted about the hue of the brushing on the bracelet being a little off. Hi Ben. I've got to put this watch in the ice cold category. I've had my black and white panda dial version since April and I have to say it has had way more wrist time than my other watches. It's comfortable to wear, it's sized really well, and because I got it in the sale for about £43 I have no concerns about it getting scratched or damaged, not that it is showing any signs of wear. I even had someone who was wearing a Rolex Submariner ask to "see my Daytona" at which point I had to come clean. But he was impressed that from a few meters away it looked like the real deal, and was surprised by how good the watch looked.
Hey @Peakrider, I'm just now getting into watches and your review makes me want to purchase one. I'm not familiar with the terms but can you point me in the right direction to get a black and white panda dial version of the Pagani Design? Thanks in advance for your help!
It's a very good watch for the money, very well specced for the price, for anyone with a smaller wrist the Parnis "Daytona" is every bit as good and every bit as affordable but just wears a little smaller and suits a thinner wrist better.
Though not in rose gold color, this beats any of those so called “affordable luxury” fashion watches at much higher prices. U know who they are, pos MVMT, vincero, dw, etc.

I'm not easy on my watches which is why I won't pay a lot but this watch has not missed a beat despite the shit its gone through, nor is there a mark on it...zero.... I paid £56 for this little gem! I have three (Bought this month and one today) the Panda, Rose Gold, and the Rose Gold Black face. They are gorgeous! I also have the RG White face as reviewed. Beautiful!
I have the 100M version of this in silver with black bezel. At the horse track last week, the owner of a genuine Daytona noticed my watch and asked to look at it. Aside from the bracelet and clasp, he was impressed.
I'd say cool. I wear mine when I quite want to run out the door. It keeps time and looks the part. I may be looking out for one that offers better legibility. I have the regular white dial black bezel one. Subdials utterly illegible. The screws in the bracelet are happy to run loose. Otherwise it's awesome. 10 pounds or so buys you a matching glide lock clasp.
Hi Ben, I’ve got the white version of this AND this colour version 2 weeks ago! I agree it’s a bit in your face at first look but now having worn it with a suit in particular it looks bloody good! I even had a couple of comments asking if it was a Rolex! 🤭 I own 6 Pagani’s now including the other chronograph you showed side by side. For the money I can’t see anything better! Ice cool for me 🧊 😎👍🏻
I have one, steel and white. Easily one of my favorite low priced watches that I own, right next to a couple Casio watches. Looks absolutely great. However, under macro I can see bits and bobs here and there on the dial. Perhaps mine wasn’t given a puff of air before assembly. But for under $100 and looks fine with the eye, that’s really all I was expecting. The clasp actually has micro adjust if you look close, but I can not figure out how to release it. I’ve even looked under macro and there’s just nothing to grab onto with any tool. So if you order one, you’re going to get a pretty good watch for the money - better than expected in some areas, less than hoped for in others. I wish they would branch out with more original designs and crank up the quality one more notch. They could even charge a little more and still be crazy affordable.
I've owned mine for about 6 months now and it works flawlessly, I wear it to work every day and still works as well as the day I bought it, only had to adjust the time recently when it was off by about a minute after 6 months of use
@Kal Singh still wear it very often. I think I got mine for like around 100 and it was one of the best bargains for a watch that looks 10x the price. Highly recommend it!
Hello Ben, I owned the 2019 version of the Pagani Daytona. For me, it was a great watch with a small problem. It's silver on white dial made it impossible to read the sub-dials in sunshine as there was no AR coating on the watch and the text in the concentric circle ring area was impossible to read without reading glasses (many viewers vision will vary). My son is now the very happy owner of that watch and he gets regular positive comments - and he has no issues reading the sub dials. A minor correction for you: at the 4:56 mark you indicate the 3 o'clock sub-dial was a 24 hour timer. It's actually a 24-hour time of day (or military time) indicator. No chronograph function on that sub-dial on the Seiko VK movement inside. But you are certainly correct that this is a great movement for the watch and the sweeping action of the chrono second had has a great look that helps this watch come off better then most chronos at this price point. I totally agree with your review on this watch. Slot this one in the Cool Zone.
I have this watch. The finish for the price is genuinely great. For me it was a great way to see if I liked chronographs. It is not my daily wearer, but I do enjoy it. I'll be getting a high quality leather strap for it in the future and I think I will wear it more. I really do like this watch for the right occasion. "ice cold"!
Absolutely gorgeous watch and tremendous value for money. By my calculation it’s less than 0.3% of the cost of the Rolex Daytona. I’ve got a Rolex submariner I bought new in 1999. It’s in mint condition because I don’t wear it. It’s too valuable. I much prefer to binge on the beautiful Pagani homage watches . The submariner hulk is beautiful and I’ve just ordered the new bi metal pagani submariner root beer. Thank you for showcasing this beautiful watch. The Pagani homage watches are improving in quality all the time. I’m hooked.
Got my v3 of this watch just the other day. I wasn't overly impressed taking it out of the box but three days on and i am liking it way more. It has a good weight to it and it functions really well. The clasp is annoying to adjust but once done it sits and functions perfect. nice looking watch for the price.
Ice cold! I have the panda version and it has a ceramic bezel too so you really don’t have to compromise any big specs for the price. The quality is fantastic imo
I own the "aquaracer" homage from Pagani, and I must say, they did a great job. The dual tone gold on this one really does make it look cheap and decay over time, pretty sure won't last a year if wore daily.
I bought the one with the white 'meteorite' dial and I love it, its had a lot of wrist time since I purchased it at the end of last year. Mine has the square notches on the case back but it is stamped as 100M wr so I guess I may have a cross over model. Ive just ordered the rose gold colour with black dial as I like it so much.
I own a couple of Paganis' and to be fair, for the money, they're pretty damn good. The " Hulk " Copage, for instance is superb. Quality control can be a bit hit and miss apparently, but I was lucky with mine as it is spot on. Great review, as always. Cheers.
Ice cold, of course! Sapphire, a great mecaquartz movement from Seiko, all stainless steel complete with a solid bracelet with screw adjustment! All of that in a great looking package that will nor break the bank.
Thanks Ben, nice watch and another great video. What you might find surprising is you can also get the Benyar Daytona for $30 it's made in the same plant as The Pagani same material same specs with a different logo and I think the Benyar logo looks really good
Different movement though and the dials aren't actually white on the Benyar but silver. Hollow end links if I can remember and a pressed clasp. Still a very good proposition considering sapphire crystal and a ceramic bezel but for me a chronograph just looks so much better with a white dial rather than silver. Each to their own
Cool. It's a fun, tidy watch. It looks neat and the only problem I've had on similar homage watches is the bezel pops off easily if caught on something like a table edge. Pretty watch though.
100M WR minimum should be standard on all sports/dive watches imho. Nice update vid Ben! Looks like I may have to sell off my Parnis Daytona and get a Pagani 😬
My favorite Rolex homage watches are from Steinhart, a German company that makes its own line of flieger and nautical watches. At around 500 EU without VAT for a Hulk homage, with Swiss SW200 mechanical movements, they're a good bargain; and they even paid for shipping to the U.S and customs for me.
I have one of these with the square notches on the back, and a 100m rating. i suspect the design change to go from 30 to 100m was just the engraving. The 24 hour dial is just that, not any kind of totalizer, so it's basically just decorative. All that aside, this is a very nice watch, and certainly a bargain at the price.
I think it’s a cool watch. I like that they used a quality Seiko quartz movement instead of trying to pull off a mechanical chronograph. Hate the colours on this watch though, they don’t do it justice at all.
I happened to wear this watch -- the black and white panda version -- today... I have to say that for the price I'm pretty happy with it. I do wish I had waited for the 2020 version for the increased water resistance... But not a deal breaker.
I have the white dial and black ceramic bezel model. Its looks awesome. If you want a nice daytona homage you have few choices and this is one of the better ones. ICE COLD BABY!!
Ben I really admire your production values they are excellent, far better than many of your‘competitors’ it’s a great twist, you primarily review budget watches yet high value production. Thanks Ben.
I have mixed experiences with ordering from pagani design official store on Ali express. Bought 4 watches and 3 had QC issues such as chronometer not functioning or large scratches on the bezel and crystal. Had to pay return shipment which was a third of the cost of the watch. Even though the specs are tempting, I will not buy Pagani Design again.
Iv never had one issue with pagani design. Must be the distributor. I own over 50 pagani designs so I know. They have a very reliable NH35A automatic movement that will last over 25 years as long as a rolex. I'm very proud to own a bunch of great watched compared to one good rolex that will literally last just as long. I'm not here for the big investment, I'm here for a great watch besides these watches will go up in value over time nothing to brag about but least it's as close to a rolex without being filthy rich.... I don't see the point anyways. In fact a couple of my pigani design are actually better then a rolex... been upgraded to last on avg 50 years! Love to see rolex last half as long! Hahaha 🤣
Got the previous version ages ago. Love it. So comfortable and keeping excellent time. Rolex and the watch snobs can go to hell. I love mine. Have to say any of the pagani design watches I have bought were very good value and haven't let me down the quality is spot on.
100% I have a PD1671 BB58 homage and the build quality is outstanding. The applied hour markers and the PD logo are very clean and sharp. My only gripe, and the main one for Pagani watches, is that the lume is rather poor. If they could fix that one issue, PD would become my go-to for homage watches.
Thugs don't authenticate watches before they mug you for them. If they think it's a Rolex, they'll treat you the same way whether or not it's a Rolex or not.
I have tried a few chronograph pieces over the years, but none of them got stuck with me. As for this model in particular, a Daytona rip off. it's not my cup of tea in terms of design. Nevertheless, I think this watch is ICE COLD, all things considered. It would be my first choice if I ever considered a chrono ever again.
I can’t read the numbers on the sub-dials on mine. Pagani really needs to work on that. It’s a beautiful watch but not being able to see those numbers makes it not really worth the price.
Cautionary tale: I purchased the older version. The watch came with the bezel misaligned and the diver's extension was so difficult to open and close that the bar bent. I requested a replacement. That bezel was aligned, but the diver's extension was even worse, it was impossible to open. Please also note the bracelet screws keep falling out, many of them will not tighten; I just threw it away and put the watch on a NATO.
I have 2 Seiko SSB's that both fill my need for a cheap Daytona style watch. It pains me to say but this one is a bit nicer. I felt the need to upgrade the bracelets on both of the Seikos and they do not have screw down pushers or crown. Of course it's not on par with a luxury brand or anything with a mechanical movement but it's amazing what you can get for the money these days.
Not only Zenith allowed to copy Daytona :) In general I like PD approach to watchmaking. They save cost on design part for sure but the amount of watch your are getting for the price is fenomenal unlike MVMT/DW/Filippo Loretty etc. Bought this Daytona panda for my father in law and was truly impressed by that little beast. However water resistance is questionable for PD, so I wouldn't trust their 100m.
It's cool. I've got one that I yet to take out of the box though. The bracelet is a bit disappointing Imo. I've ordered a curved rubber strap with a glide lock style clasp. As a sports watch you can toss around without fear of ruining I think it's a good buy. Pagani Homages are spec monsters for the price. It's not like I'm in the market for the real thing. 21k is low for a real Daytona (high for me lol) if you can even find one and get on the waiting list. I'm partial to the AET ceramic Daytonas with Picasso designs... but again not in my imaginary budget. Pagani it is then.
Cool. I mean who is watching this channel and can afford or even get their hands on a Rolex Daytona....I don’t even know people with one. I have this watch...white dial and silver. It is great looking... I wanted the look and not be worried about someone nicking it ....
Very happy with mine so I'd say ice cold. Mine came with a leather strap as well as the metal bracelet which I found a much better fit and look for my smaller than average wrist size.
You can’t review something the company sent you and expect it to represent a random watch that someone ordering on the web would get. Of course they’ll send you a great sample.
On the watch well as you say hard to look past the colour you have. On the site there are , I feel, better offerings. I wouldn’t buy one but wouldn’t criticise anyone who did, the movement makes it for me. Bob England

Straight to ali express. Me too
Me four. Today 😁🤣
@Kal Singh no worries, if you want I can message you my snap and I'll send you pictures of what it looks like after over a year of wear
@Kal Singh I bought the rg on rg dial. Bought the rg with white dial for my friend and the rg on black for my other one they all look stunning
So a low key gmt? Genuine question because I’ve ordered mine and would like to properly set the time. Thanks!
@@xx4rch4xx I doubt you can set the 24 hour subdial independently of the regular time...so perhaps not a gmt
Waris might have to leave the pin pulled out until the right time comes along
I have this watch. The finish for the price is genuinely great. For me it was a great way to see if I liked chronographs. It is not my daily wearer, but I do enjoy it. I'll be getting a high quality leather strap for it in the future and I think I will wear it more. I really do like this watch for the right occasion. "ice cold"!
Great looking homage watch..can't argue with the price compared to the rolex..
I’m hooked.
Pay 99% less than a real Rolex but get 99% of its performance. I have no problem with that 😉
Got my v3 of this watch just the other day. I wasn't overly impressed taking it out of the box but three days on and i am liking it way more. It has a good weight to it and it functions really well. The clasp is annoying to adjust but once done it sits and functions perfect. nice looking watch for the price.
I love my black and white version. It's a great watch for the price. I'm not a fan of this colour variant personally.
ice cold mate! can’t beat the value for money.
Ice cold! I have the panda version and it has a ceramic bezel too so you really don’t have to compromise any big specs for the price. The quality is fantastic imo
I got a "100m" Yachtmaster-like all fogged up without seeing any serious water. I suspect damp air during casing rather than water ingress when used.
i suspect you didnt screw in properly
I own the "aquaracer" homage from Pagani, and I must say, they did a great job. The dual tone gold on this one really does make it look cheap and decay over time, pretty sure won't last a year if wore daily.
What you can do is buy a ceramic coating and coat the gold plated stuff, do it every year, should last you well 👌
Randomly decided to wear my Pagani Daytona today. It’s a great watch for the price even though it’s unoriginal. I think it’s cool. Great video!
The answer is yes buy one. Genuinely impress with this watch for the price
I have one on order waiting for delivery from Ali Express sale. I think the white face black bezel version is gorgeous. Can't afford a rolex. So.
Cheers.
It’s a beauty, no doubt. Even as a chrono, I'd give it an “ice cold.”
Ice cold, of course! Sapphire, a great mecaquartz movement from Seiko, all stainless steel complete with a solid bracelet with screw adjustment! All of that in a great looking package that will nor break the bank.
Yep. Got the plain white dial, put it on a black with grey stitch perforated sailcloth strap. Looks amazing.
Cool. Homage looks, decent quality at a low price. I am tempted to order one.
I ordered two and I like them very much. They're not superduper good but hey, they sure deliver their money's worth.
Each to their own
And Benyar's are not really stainless steel but alloy steel
Pagani and Parnis... Jesus buddy. Why do you have yourself so much ?
juke box lolwut?
@@DavidSchwartzjr haha. I meant to ask why do you hate yourself so much ?
My favorite Rolex homage watches are from Steinhart, a German company that makes its own line of flieger and nautical watches. At around 500 EU without VAT for a Hulk homage, with Swiss SW200 mechanical movements, they're a good bargain; and they even paid for shipping to the U.S and customs for me.
Yes! I love my Ocean One 39 - absolute beauty 😍
"My favorite Rolex copies watches are from Steinhart" fxd
So you like copies, just over priced copies Correct?
Invicta speedway is a very good alternative and 200m water-resistant
Ice cold for me. Got white/black version and it's amazing for the money :).
I have the "Panda"...def cool. I always get compliments.
Very Cool - Seiko movement - looks good - tells the time .
I just bought a Pagani Design watch that looks identical to a Tag Heuer Aquaracer, and it's automatic. Looking forward to getting it
I think it’s a cool watch.
I wonder why there's no black-white version of the 2020 (yet), only black-silver.
I have the white dial and black ceramic bezel model. Its looks awesome. If you want a nice daytona homage you have few choices and this is one of the better ones. ICE COLD BABY!!
"Cool". Got the panda dial - love it. Can't beat it for the price.
Ben I really admire your production values they are excellent, far better than many of your‘competitors’ it’s a great twist, you primarily review budget watches yet high value production.
Thanks Ben.
I have three of them and they all look amazing. Really easy to adjust and the bracelet, with screw links, is easy to resize. Love em! KOOL.
if ice cold is better than KOOL then I'll go for Ice Cold.
Bought the rubber strap version. Not bad at all. Finishing is solid.
Yes, you can see the weird silver color of the links...
And it's a cool watch over all, maybe just not in that color.
Ice cool considering that you can wear a look like Daytona without being robbed on the streets!!! 😬😬😬
Thugs don't authenticate watches before they mug you for them. If they think it's a Rolex, they'll treat you the same way whether or not it's a Rolex or not.
I got the submariner version and I absolutely love it. I’m definitely buying more color variations and other models
love this watch and its been on my list for a few weeks. Now that they have the new version out, im on it
Got a pagani design watch and I love it, keeps great time and looks great, plus the price is amazing :)
i got one in my watch rotation and i couldnt give a dam what others may think
Grateful to have found this channel....Thanks Ben, you're the man! 💯👏👊🏾
I own the stainless steel version and I love it! Great review.
Nice one! Have the Panda version.and have just pulled the trigger on the green dial version.🙂
I'm impressed. Looks great with a nice chronograph and great specs.
Pagani Designs are generally good quality watches, especially the Seiko powered ones!
Ben I loved your patricia role in the movie Split
You are absolutely right about the date dial "closeness"
I can’t read the numbers on the sub-dials on mine. Pagani really needs to work on that. It’s a beautiful watch but not being able to see those numbers makes it not really worth the price.
Cautionary tale: I purchased the older version. The watch came with the bezel misaligned and the diver's extension was so difficult to open and close that the bar bent. I requested a replacement. That bezel was aligned, but the diver's extension was even worse, it was impossible to open. Please also note the bracelet screws keep falling out, many of them will not tighten; I just threw it away and put the watch on a NATO.
That's why God made LocTite.
I'd use Loctite if the bracelet was halfway decent.
I have 2 Seiko SSB's that both fill my need for a cheap Daytona style watch. It pains me to say but this one is a bit nicer. I felt the need to upgrade the bracelets on both of the Seikos and they do not have screw down pushers or crown. Of course it's not on par with a luxury brand or anything with a mechanical movement but it's amazing what you can get for the money these days.
have regretted selling my ssb005 but then this watch came along. problem solved and like you say a tad better
Not only Zenith allowed to copy Daytona :)
In general I like PD approach to watchmaking.
You are correct. The gold on the bracelet is more yellow than the bezel. Same is true on my GMT. Pagani wouldn’t pay for return shipping.
I also have the white dial, black bezel version. Love the look and it rates an Ice Cold!
Very happy with mine so I'd say ice cold. Mine came with a leather strap as well as the metal bracelet which I found a much better fit and look for my smaller than average wrist size.
The wrist doesn't expand due to the temperature. The extention is designed for divers when they put the watch over a wet suit.
The blue and coffee colour way is gorgeous! I'm seriously tempted.
Do it i have the blue face one its stunning for the price
You can’t review something the company sent you and expect it to represent a random watch that someone ordering on the web would get. Of course they’ll send you a great sample.
On the watch well as you say hard to look past the colour you have. On the site there are , I feel, better offerings. I wouldn’t buy one but wouldn’t criticise anyone who did, the movement makes it for me.

I reviewed the salmon dial and the green one a while ago. Great value for money!
I have the white dial variant. Very handsome watch.
Hey, Girly Man ( with the girly wrist ) I know many skumbags with a genuine Rolex Daytona, and a few wealthy guys with homage Daytona clones. They became wealthy by not buying Rolex watches. The money they saved not buying Rolex watches and BMWs doubles and triples every year it stays in their trading accounts.
People see Invicta releasing a "Rolex inspired" watch : "Meh. Screw Invicta - lack of inspiration"
People see Pagani releasing a "Rolex inspired" watch : "So awesome. Can't wait to add it to my collection"
Invicta are much poorer quality.
Yeah becasue pagani has amazing specs for watch. Invicta is trash
@@tundraboy6498 wow. That's absolutely bullshit. The Pro Diver is a very quality watch. Are all of their watches? Absolutely not. But the Pro Diver is a fantastic watch that's easily worth triple what they sell it for.
I'm currently saving for a Rolex Explorer, been putting a little aside a month for the last year and a half and I'm at the point of buying one in a few months. I have a Smiths Everest PRS-25 automatic stop gap explorer and it's the perfect homage watch. I plan to wear the Rolex for special occasions and the Smiths pretty much every other time. I'm that happy with it.
