Just bought the 8’ Hasegawa last week. After only a week of landscape trimming, I’m selling all of my old 4 legged ladders. The tripod design is superior in every way compared to a 4 legged ladder. The stability is absolutely incredible, it is not tipsy in any way shape or form. It’s like standing on concrete steps. Also used it to hang Christmas lights and the maneuverability around the shrubs is perfection. The back leg can be stuck into and around shrubbery without causing any damage. Once again, it’s a far superior design over 4 legged ladders. My only regret is that I wasted 30 years of my life with 4 legged ladders.

Does the back leg allow you to move it right or left based on the slope of the ground? Thanks in advance.

Hello John, thank you for your question. The back leg can move up or down as you can see at 0:30 in the video, not left or right. You have to face the ladder so that it points towards the slope, the front legs having to stand on even ground. feel free to contact us at info@hasegawaladders.com for more detailed information and availability.

Really like the wider base on the steps. The single back leg defeats those however. There's no way a tri leg setup is safer than 4.
