163 Saw milling timber into lumber for the cabin build!

In this video I document the first lumber getting milled for the off grid cabin we are building this year. The trees have been harvested from our property and are cottonwood trees to be used for indoor framing and roof trusses. In this session we only mill 2x4s although 2x10s, 1” planks and various other boards are also in the design.
Saw mill is a Woodland Mills machine. Normally this mill in Mike’s barn and can cut 18 foot lengths. He has this 16 foot trailer with rails and can mount the mill on there and handle 13 foot lengths.
