I’ve seen a lot of cabin building videos but this cabin is definitely most sustainable. You didn’t compromise on quality and as a HSE professional i really appreciate how you maintained safety. Ear muffs, respirators, harness and life lines during roof work. I really appreciate that ❤
Quality is so obvious . The sound of the door closing on a well made car, the sound a folding knife makes when you close it . Things like this show what it takes to be dedicated and have pride enough to do something correctly . That is exactly what I see when watching these two true craftsmen at work . Something as simple as watching a log which has been prepared with groves fall into place around the windows and doors makes it a delight to watch your videos , I am so glad I found the videos and look forward to watching all of them . This is what I call entertainment . Not the trash shown on Network TV which try’s to pass as entertainment, Thanks guys
I am just now seeing your video of building your house with you’re father. I was so very saddened to learn of his passing away. My heart goes out to you. You and your father are a class act. The two of you together were unstoppable. He taught you well. Go forward and teach your children when they come along. Blessings to you always. ♥️🙏🏼♥️
Also meine Lieben. Machen Sie bitte weiter so. HOCH DIE ZIMMERERKUNST
How sad that your father has passed away. I’ve been watching your channel for awhile and I enjoyed watching you and your father build that cabin and other things, he was a great man. So sorry for your loss, it hit me like I knew him personally. I lost my father in 2009 to dementia, and I know what kind of hole it leaves in your heart. Take all the time you need to grieve and remember all the good times because I’m sure they were many you guys work hand-in-hand. God bless.🙏
I came across this video, my parents live 300 miles away, and they are down for Easter. My dad is 79 years old this year, a man who was not to many years ago very hands on, could do anything regarding building. So, tonight we have watched the first 40 minutes, and we will come back to watch the rest tomorrow evening when the house is quiet and we can talk while watching this. Absolutely fantastic, a great memory for you, and also for myself watching this with my dad!
I hope you enjoy every minute with your dad believe me that is one friend you can’t replace. I hope this young man knows how lucky he is! I think so. May God bless you all and your wonderful home.
I am watching this as the whole project and warms my heart to see the Senior Outsider. Miss seeing him I am so glad you all go to record this memory. Thanks for sharing.
I've been a Carpenter my whole life. I'm 63. I've never built a log home sorry to say. But watching you guys makes me wanna jump out there and do it. Nice professional level workmanship is always a joy to watch.
Craftsmanship at its best. This is what professionalism, attention to detail and determination looks like. I’ve been an Ironworker/rigger for 20 yrs and these are the skills that need to be taught to the younger generation. Funny what you can make happen with a tape measure, level, square, hand tools and rigging. May The Most High bless you and your family. 🙏🏽💪🏽
I just want to thank you both for a really great way to spend a few down hours during what has been a really tough week. My dad passed away 5 years ago on the 3rd of March and I've been really struggling to pick myself up and simply get through the day. My dad thought me so much about construction, love and respect for the great outdoors, and the importance of family but I never got to truly appreciate any of that with him as I have gone from a 19 year old college drop out to a 25 year old, self-employed general contractor since he's been gone. Again I thank you for this video that I'm sure I will be revisiting whenever I feel like I need a moment of down time with my dad. Bless you both, Andrew from Michigan. 🙏
I’m currently one hour into this. The single greatest aspect of this incredible build is that the guys took the effort to capture the process, to the wonderment and admiration of the millions who have had the privilege of witnessing their endeavours. Thank you.
The memories working with your dad are the most precious memories you and your family will have when you watch these videos of building the cabin together in later life. Your cabin is beautiful and the craftmanship of father and son are outstanding. can not wait to see what happens in the interior. Have a lovely day.
I can hardly believe what I'm seeing. I am in awe of the incredible gift that these men have been given and developed. The physical strength, knowledge, talent in such a build is honestly quite beautiful. I've enjoyed watching and having the opportunity to see such a sight. Your bond as father and son has to be unbreakable. Congratulations on your build!
You both are very fortunate to have each other. My boy went away to university and came home a goofball. He wouldn’t help me get up if I fell. Nice project and good to see there are normal people still out there. Thanks for sharing!
Father & Son master craftsmen. It’s wonderful to watch the pioneering spirit of sheer determination that’d once been so intrinsic to our ancestors still alive today.
Friend. I'm from Brazil and I made a point of coming here on my wife's channel to congratulate you and your father for this incredible, beautiful work. I love the construction business but this kind of wooden houses and cabins is something I really admire. Congratulations, you really are professionals. Hug
@@NurseEmilie I'm sorry that you feel that way. It is humanity that has given me the greatest opportunities to learn who I really am. It doesn't mean that it is always fun or nice or easy, but it truly is the best learning opportunity out there. Anger and fear are so readily available, but courage will always lead back to love.
I have not missed a single episode of the cabin build so far. When I saw this pop up this morning I thought to myself its a great day to throw on my outsider shirt, sit on the couch for a few hours and watch it all come together. Although I liked every episode that you put up, having it all together for 1 video was truly awesome. I love the relationship between you and Senior Outsider. You know exactly what the other is thinking. I can't wait to see the inside build and it all come together. Thank you for this. Can't wait for the next episode.
Wow, thanks for following along so faithfully! 🙏😁 ...I can't wait to show more of the interior work either! It's going to look really cozy once it's done.
I live in Québec, in Montréal, in Terrebonne, on “Rue D’angora” and here we live near a construction site that works 24/7, it’s crazy to see the amount of effort for all this to come together as only 2 people. As here they’ve built 2, 12 story buildings named “Tour Cachemire”, and “Tour Cachemire 2” taking them each 6-8 months to be built (though the first one took 5 years, I live in it), it’s crazy! I just stumbled upon this type of content, and i’m already hooked. Nice work, love the cabin already.
I have no words to describe the level of joy you and your father were able to give me. Both for the magnificent work and for the way you interacted together. I no longer have my old man but I will have for ever in my mind and heart, everything we had together in the past... Greetings from your new Brazilian subscriber.
I've been watching this from the beginning - my initial thought this morning was, 'Oh no, it is done!". So bittersweet, then, of course the sudden realization there is much more to come. Thanks so much for sharing this journey with me and my family. All the best to you and your family, continued safe passage on all your journeys.
They say when your going through deep termoil in your life and you channel it, something beautiful comes from it. May the beautiful memories you create last a lifetime and bring much happiness and joy as you complete the cabin. It's been a Great journey for me watching you complete your dream. God Bless you & your family, always cherish the memories you make.
Wow 🤩, I have watched many old buildings in my day but this is an comparable on all levels ! Love, devotion, mathematics , precision, quality, extreme durability, will last a lifetime is very low maintenance. The roof is not going anywhere! I’m sure you had to build it that’s sturdy for The conditions you have wherever this is located . tremendously insulated . Beautiful country, lots of wild game around . I have thoroughly enjoyed watching this build. So lucky , to have each other in all ways . God has blessed you both with unbelievable talents. Tysvm 💜
I don't know what to say. This is unbelievable. Breathtaking, it leaves me speechless. It has become simply beautiful. 3 hours of pure entertainment. My greatest respect to father and son. Greetings from Germany Sven
I am sitting here in Australia watching one of the most enjoyable father-son experiences I have ever seen and I am sure that this will be a very special place for everybody to enjoy for a long long time to come such an awesome experience and project for a father and son to do together you are an excellent father and a great son what an awesome team you both make
I to set here and watched the hole thing.. what a wonderful gift and it will last for hundred of years ? Can't wait to watch what happens on the inside, Just a special project between father and son ? See Ya Texas
I'm also sitting here in Australia wondering why you have a perfectly good band saw and you are leaving big gaps in your walls and you use the same bandsaw to cut 200x75 boards for window and door frames ???
I came across this wonderful father and son build by chance. I had been feeling a bit under the weather and this shifted everything inside me to feeling inspired, uplifted and in awe. You and your dad's perfect crafting of such a beautiful cabin in the middle of wild nature. A joy to watch. Thank you so much for sharing with everyone. Bless you !!!
You can even "hear" the perfection when some of the fitted boards are slid and tapped into place. Your attention to detail is fantastic! Thank you for sharing this journey.
Precision. The detailed work. Something we don’t get much of down here, I really enjoyed watching it snow. That room gone last til your grands have children. That’s a lot that of stuff that goes into a roof. Enjoyed traveling with you both through this journey it was most rewarding for me. Me and my dad barely got along. He’s gone now and I hope he’s resting well with how we made out.
I can not even imagine anyone giving you a thumbs down. You and your Dad working together in building such a beautiful Log Cabin is priceless and once in a life time build with Love and Memories to carry onto the next generations to come. The care and the precise measures in all you guys did was spot on and I really enjoyed watching the entire build. You and your Dad showed great skill and craftsmanship in all you did and it paid off with a Beautiful Log Cabin. God bless you and your Dad and your Family with good health and longevity. Enjoy all that God has blessed you with and treasure those moments you and your Dad had together. Stay safe.
I used to do just what you 2 are doing , in my 40 plus yrs of doing carpenter wk an log home construction I have never seen anybody that can compare to you guys , you do excellent wk . Keep doing what your doing..im74 an just can't do it anymore...
The son and father built their dream house. The dream came true You did tremendous job.Your precision is stunning. I suppose it took much time, nerves and hardiness, in order to fulfill your dream. Amazing. I wish you health and long life.Your work was adorable.
Wow, Father and son working together. That is a wonderful job done,, just absolutely beautiful. Working as one and doing such an amazing job. What a pleasure to watch this video. Most enjoyable.
This is my first video of the Outsiders that I've watched. Was just doing some TH-cam surfing when I came across this video and started watching it to the end. I loved seeing you two working together on building you and your DAD'S Dream Cabin. I do love watching these kinds of videos this is my first cabin video to have watched. I watch a lot of the bush building videos where they build everything from bamboo. My children's father is a carpenter and I have seen a lot of his work before and after. I'm sorry to hear about your father's passing may God Bless You and your family during this time of sadness. My prayers are with you all. The building of this cabin will be with you forever. It was a joy to watch the two of you together. It's all the personal things that we hold onto that we shared with the loved one who is no longer here. Watching you and your Dad made me think about my grandmother and all the things I did with her growing up that I still today treasure. God Bless 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
You’ve captured a special thing here. What a beautiful thing it is to see seasoned professionals working in great harmony and efficiency. Then add to that they are Father and Son. Wow. Did I mention the quality is top shelf ?? This is a Superman house boys. Great job. Enjoyed the video.
Holy cow - SUCH meticulous work!! And using proper safety equipment, which is hardly used on other channels! VERY well done and thank you for sharing with us! You've given me a lot to think about for when I build my own place (80% underground) and I just hope that my late Dad would be proud of me when I do.
My Prayers are Always with You and Your Family . I really enjoy watching you and your Father work together peacefully, stay safe and Love Your Family because we never know how long we' re going to have them for. You are doing a really great job 👍 on the cabin I Love it. 🙏🌄
To the son! You are an amazing and brilliant young man! And as a mother, I felt so proud watching you build this cabin! To the father! You are blessed for having such a wonderful so! It was a pleasure watching the two of you, create that beautiful work of art!
watching this and learning that you lost your dad after this build is hard to imagine. It is 3 hrs long video but the time you spent with your dad was great throughout the build. May you find inspiration from your father's memory as you finish the build alone.
While watching this project I thought it's probably the last project that father and son worked on , I'm sorry to find out that he lost his father , especially as I happened to the same , my house was the first and last project made with my father
I'm the hero! This old 75 year old woman enjoyed your video. It is relaxing. I prefer the one hour video but I loved this one. Can't wait to see the inside. Good luck.
One more time! Absolutely amazing what you and your dad have done. What an accomplishment. Talk about posterity, a build of a lifetime to be shared and cherished for generations. That’s success anyway you look at it. What a legacy! Hope you’ll share the first holiday together with all of us. Bless you and your family
This is so incredible. I teared up multiple times thinking about the beautiful memories you created while building this together. Your future children and grandchildren will talk about this for generations...at least that's what I imagine. Love love love this so much!! 🥺🥰
Wild imagination think about it do you have all these romantic vision of yoyr parents when they were younger or even grandparents? Well there's your answer what ever you truthfully answered that what your children will t hink because the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. TRUTH 💯 FACT
Glued to the TV all afternoon. Watching this amazing show. The precision with which everything is cut is amazing. And how wonderfully you work with your dad. Trying to figure out how long this took to build and figured it was maybe five years counting the winters. Absolutely superb. I would love to be able to build something like this. It was bad enough replacing the roof on my small shed last year. I struggled but it’s still intact after two huge storms. It’s been absolutely delightful to watch you build this masterpiece and through all seasons as well.
So sorry for the loss of your Dad. What great memories you have of the two of you building this beautiful log cabin. It is truly the MOST AMAZING log cabin I have seen built. Stunning craftsmanship, you are both so so talented .❤from Ireland 🇮🇪.
My dad is a retired carpenter and its difficult to get him to watch anything except for sport. But he ate this up like crazy.. absorbed 3 hours like it was 3 minutes. Well done gents. It really looks amazing and you made it look easy as pie. Top Notch.
No question you both not only are real craftsmen and your work is beyond impressive, but it's not just another video of someone building something: the way you use camera perspectives, detail shots, drone flights makes this a video I would watch at the movies with a huge bucket of popcorn 🍿
Im 50 and can barely get my kids to help clean there junk from my home before selling. That said the only downside I see to this is that cabin is now priceless because its yours and your fathers blood sweat and tears literally. I hope you get many years of enjoyment.
I love the clip of your Dad walking in the blowing snow. I started peeling logs for my cabin last January. I have learned so much from the videos you make. Thanks for inspiring me and many more to get off the couch and do something great.
Yes! That shot is one of my favorites of my dad. Speaks a lot to his strength and character...walking through a snowstorm with a chainsaw on his shoulder, to go build a cabin with his son.
I was thinking the same thing. It was a magnificent shot. Me being around his age made me feel proud of our generation. Say hi to him and much respect for us ole Dad’s….💪🏾 Oh before I forget…I’m also an architect. I was wondering if you guys thought of putting glass in the A-frame above the front door? Not a critic whatsoever. That cabin is a masterpiece work of art my friend. Just was curious if it was considered or discussed at all?
Father & son you are to be very much admired. I am a 75 year old grandmother, lives in Texas, just watching you two filled me with energy and courage, and praying that you two live a long life to continue inspiring people like me who is workaholics, but made stupid moves busted both rotators cuff, but seeing you two! Makes me want to work at getting well the more! I love to work even with limitations! Thinks for the inspection, Love you two and what your doing. Be blessed. /R. C..
That was so great you and your Dad got to spend so much time together building this project. I have to say, though, that was the more extensive build I have ever seen! Absolutely no short cuts. Everything on site. Amazing to watch!
Oh wow !How wonderful father and son working so closely togetherI enjoy your show I have been fighting cancer and you enlightened my day every humbling thank you
I grew up in Eastern Ontario in a log cabin built in the mid 1800’s. This is such a treat to watch step by step. Such a skill you two have, or multiple skills. Thank you for sharing it. Definitely one to sit with the whole family and watch.
How interesting! I always wonder what was used back then when I see modern materials, particularly the roofing materials, it must have been so difficult throughout most of our history to keep dry, unless you're in a cave! I suppose willow bark would have been the main protection? Did you feel warm and dry? How much was yours modernised?
Hope you have sufficiently healed from the grinder mishap. This 'entire build' sure takes me back. I have watched each episode and so appreciate you and your family sharing this with us all!
This is what we called father & son tag team in this magnificent project ......We were saddened by his dad's departure which left him single-handed to complete the job.......God Blessed this youngman and his lovely family amen.....
wow! first time watching and I watched this entire video all in one sitting. I could not stop. The most thorough, intricate, PATIENT build I have seen thus far. You two are CRAFTSMEN!. The cupolas were an awful LOT of additional work, but they sure are cute. I am amazed. I live in Southern California and I'm an old granny. I wish I had enough years left in my life to have a log cabin like that in the woods. And someone nice to share it with.
I absolutely love these guys!!! Wonderful and detailed. The measurements are on point and the ideas and decor are fabulous!!! My mom, 95 yr. Old and I enjoy watching. Thank you for sharing.
I thought this was amazing. Simple powerful!! You guys I don't know what to say. I have always loved the way log cabins looked. It was a joy and pleasure watching it come together! Memories!! I am not into all the different ways of technology so I wasn't sure you had a loss until I read someone else's comment about it. I just started watching your amazing work. I don't do Instagram. My condolences on your loss. Loss is hard. Extremely hard when someone is close to you, I can relate. I thank you for your blessings us after each show. May God bless you and your family. 🙏🏾
I'm half way through this video and have thoroughly enjoyed every second. The precise measuring, cutting and tidy work you do is amazing. The location is gorgeous. The connection you have with each other and how you work so well is a joy to watch. My Dad died on Father's Day, I miss him so much. He was a self taught builder and some times we'd come home from school there'd be a piece of furniture or a bed had been made through the day lol. He made our kitchen, beds, wardrobes etc. He may be gone, but we have a lot of things in the house he built and will treasure forever. Building things with a parent is the BEST. Best wishes from Australia.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Your dad sounds like a great guy. I'm sure it's a bittersweet blessing to be surrounded by his handcrafted creations. Tangible tokens of his love for you. All the best to you, in your healing journey.
Watching you and your dad working side by side creating this beautiful legacy was heartwarming. Learning of his passing only brings more love and is a wonderful testimony of your love to be shared with your family. Seeing his jacket and you placing it on your daughter’s shoulder was like wrapping his love over her. Bless you all! and thank you for sharing. 🫶🏻 Edit: I just learned that you also lost your mom during this build and that your wife is undergoing treatment for cancer. My heartfelt prayers for you. 🙏🏻🫶🏻🙏🏻
I remember watching you build the small cabin before starting this, as well as other nature type video's. You have done so much, and this cabin build has been so awesome to watch. I am 50, and when I was a kid, my grandpa built a log cabin for my aunt to live in with her husband and my cousin. The cabin was never deeded, but my uncle still lives in it, burning wood, and using propane and electric hook up. My aunt and grandparents are gone, along with my parent's, but this just takes me back. My grandpa was in the battle of the bulge, and he could make anything. God bless you and yours. Get ready for the storm that is coming, because it's about to get tough.
What a great team. Memories to cherish forever. I thought you were cutting a hole for a sky light and then it became a Dormer! Wonderful! Thanks for this.
Great team work, I was lucky enough to work with my Dad, for a while, I now miss those days so much. Hey young guy, cherish your time with your Dad, as much as I am sure he does. Respect to you both, I hope you find a good name for your Dream Cabin.
I am deeply gelous of this guys, the job is fantastic but the opportunity to work with your father at this level of sharing knowledge and supporting each other is indescribable. A tresure that nobody ever will steal to this guy. Good for both. Merry Christmas from Tarifa, Spain.
I watched this video as my first video introduction of your channel yesterday. It just came up next on my play list . I was quite impressed with you & your father's handy work . As an outdoorsman my self I learned some tricks & different styles to cabin building from your video. Today I went to explore your channel more only to find out your father has passed . I cried with my wife when we watched your tribute video to your dad . Only watching one video I earned great respect for you & your father . So from my family to yours I would like to share my deepest condolences. thank you for the great content . My you make many more beautiful videos. Thanks for sharing your builds .from watching one video I could tell your father was a great man any son would be proud to call his father .
My son and I recently began our own project. No where near the scale and mastery of this cabin; but at the least, a solid year of diligent hard work towards something, I hope, will remain in the family for several generations. This video has really elevated my enthusiasm. Very humbling. I'm now thinking--perhaps hoping--that some day, he and my younger son and I will start and finish a much larger project. Perhaps a family manor. No idea, but I think it would be great for the 3 of us to figure that out together. Amazing craftsmanship. And such an enviable fellowship between father and son.
This video is a masterpiece. The Transitions when the seasons changed are movie-worthy, the scenery is amazing and the fact that you didn't cut ANY corners when building just makes it so much better. overall 11/10
My heart felt condolences for your great loss 🙏🙏 I watched the show in one go. What a lovely bond the two of you shared as father and son. Its very rare. You must finish what you guys started together. The show must go on. This is the dream you two shared.
I’ve never watched a log cabin build from top to bottom. It is beautiful and the special touches set it off- like the dormers. Your son is the strongest and most surefooted man I’ve ever seen!! The safety and dragging tricks are phenomenal!! I bet the old timers would have appreciated your tools!
I had to rewatch this video after I heard your father’s passing. It brought tears to my eyes because I remembered how he made the exceptionally beautiful door to your cabin. He was very skilled and I can only imagine that is where you obtained your skills from. Can’t wait to see you complete the kitchen. Thank you for your beautiful work that you continue to allow the world to be a part of.
This is a awesome Father and Son project... I wish my father was in Better Health so that we could do something like this. it just reminds you that life is short and precious spend as much time as you can with your loved ones and make memories while you can ! 👨👩👧👦❤
The amount of precision you guys had building your cabin is astounding.I have no doubt it is as square as a cube the way the pieces snapped together. You guys did a amazing job. Thank you for allowing us all to watch you and your fathers dream become a reality.
About 6 and a half decades ago, my grandfather sent me on a mission to find his left-handed hammer. I see you found it! I suspect, in watching and seeing how accurate your fit was in numerous spots, that you spent as much time or more measuring as cutting. A fantastic build!
My wife and I were glued to the TV watching the progress. Thank you for posting this amazing video. I read the other posts that stated that you're Dad passed away, we were very saddened of the news. My deep condolences. I hope when you're ready you could post the final completion of the cabin. Take care and thanks again.
This is excellent. Wish I had a father that I could do something remotely similar with. This is a bonding experience you will both remember and teasure forever. Love it. Thanks for putting this video together.
So awesome to watch you and dad build this home. No team, just the two of you. Literally from scratch, from the trees you felled, creating sections of lumber using your sawmill, and then building it utilizing a variety of methods/tools. That kind of skill, ingenuity, and strength is impressive.
Absolutely heartwarming! Watching them pour their love and effort into building this cabin together is such a testament to their relationship. It makes me wish I could join them in that stunning wilderness! 🏡💖
Unbelievable the talent teamwork respect shown in this project. Stunning. I am very sorry for your families loss. But no one can take away the labour of love this abviously was for you two and whomever supported you behind the scenes.
As I am a retired Builder I can appreciate the hard work you two had in front of you! The quality of workmanship that you achieved is second to none! I live in Melbourne Australia where the weather would normally be much kinder, than what you endured Love your work👍.
I am about the sons age and my father was about his dads age. My dad and I talked about doing this together when he retired. He was 6 months out from retirement before he got pancreatic cancer last year. I am so jealous of this. So very jealous. Miss him so much. :(
I was suprized how much this video hit my emotions... great to watch this wonderful experience with your dad .. ..that cabin is now a part of your families soul. don't ever give it up!
Awesome ! You guys are proof that 'staying at it right' gets it done. To work w/your dad was, i'm sure, priceless. My father passed from cancer @ 10 years ago. He was a good man, as i'm certain yours is. What an awesome, well built cabin! You guys obviously didn't cut any corners. Looks like the tried and true traditional way of building a cabin, probly good for 200 yrs. Great vid, great content, great editing. It's quite an experience watching you build, and the gorgeous land and trees. Awesome ! 👍
Well stated. Craftsmanship at its finest

You're so lucky to have a father who you could actually work with, taught you things and helped you.
I am just now seeing your video of building your house with you’re father. I was so very saddened to learn of his passing away. My heart goes out to you. You and your father are a class act.
I injoy watching you work hard building that house very nice I wish I have small home God bless us all .

Sincères condoléances pour ton père, triste moment pour toi et ta famille.

What a wonderful Dad, who is no doubt so proud of his amazing son.

Hug
This father-son effort restores my faith in humanity. Thanks for sharing your journey together.
Don't ever trust humanity ! That's a mistake !
@@TheOutsiderCabin I hope you will have enough done to spend Christmas Eve in it.

I've been watching this from the beginning - my initial thought this morning was, 'Oh no, it is done!". So bittersweet, then, of course the sudden realization there is much more to come. Thanks so much for sharing this journey with me and my family. All the best to you and your family, continued safe passage on all your journeys.
Much appreciated, my friend! ...yes, I'm probably only halfway done the cabin at most, so there's still loads of episodes to come.

Well said! The bitter can often be used to make the sweet that much sweeter. I personally know this to be true, on so many levels. God bless!
Tysvm 💜

The ENTIRE cabin is wonderful. But, my favorite so far is the door it's MAGNIFICENT! Praying Mrs. Outsider is doing well. Safe safe and God bless.

Holy cow - SUCH meticulous work!! And using proper safety equipment, which is hardly used on other channels! VERY well done and thank you for sharing with us! You've given me a lot to think about for when I build my own place (80% underground) and I just hope that my late Dad would be proud of me when I do.

watching this and learning that you lost your dad after this build is hard to imagine. It is 3 hrs long video but the time you spent with your dad was great throughout the build. May you find inspiration from your father's memory as you finish the build alone.

The best dream, and treasure, is getting to build this with your father. Looking beautiful.

The fact that this was built by a father and son is beautiful. Awesome house by the way.
I hope someone in your family can get that property properly deeded. It needs to be.

About 6 and a half decades ago, my grandfather sent me on a mission to find his left-handed hammer. I see you found it! I suspect, in watching and seeing how accurate your fit was in numerous spots, that you spent as much time or more measuring as cutting. A fantastic build!
