Blood Diamond Is beautiful movie. If you think, you are brave enough, then watch Hotel Rwanda. One of my favourite movies about African modern history and genocide in Rwanda in 1994. I cried multiple times as grown man while watching it. It’s very powerful and cruel movie. Nice video tho. :)
This is the movie where I really started to come around towards Leonardo DiCaprio. Wasn’t the biggest fan of him before as I just saw him simply as the ‘pretty boy’ actor; but Blood Diamond really changed my opinion.
He did great in this, but I've been a Leo fan since The Man in the Iron Mask and What's Eating Gilbert Grape. The standout for me was Djimon Hounsou. Following Gladiator and this movie he quickly became someone i look forward to watching on the screen. If you haven't, you should check out What's Eating Gilbert Grape. Leo's role was really risky, and at such a young age as well.

I own all of his books, and love when they make movie adaptations of them: "Misery", "Big Driver", "A Perfect Marriage" and "Cujo" are other King movies based on novels and/or short stories. One of the best series I've ever seen, was "The Haunting of Hill House". It's a 10 episode mini series. It will scare you, make you cry and I think you'd love it. It's not Stephen King, but it sure _COULD_ be. Any way, keep up the great reactions. I love all of you guys.🥰
Many years ago, in the period when this movie takes place, I was to ride shotgun on a job to go down to Brazil and pick up a C-130 to ferry over to Sierra Leone. Then things really blew up over there and the job fell through. I remember that was a real wild west period in west and central Africa. I'm glad my life path took a different turn then.

There is a good documentary called Shadow Company that is about private Military companies and in the documentary you could see and even hear (by the accent) where much of Blood Diamond got some parts of the story and characters.

80% of diamonds are industrial, not jewelry. But, then, yeah, women are responsible for most diamond jewelry. But NFL or NBA or MLB championship rings always have diamonds in them. I don't know if they are synthetic or not. Maybe?
