Every dad would do the exact same as Mills. Unfortunately we lack those particular set of skills 😢
True😭
Time to start training 😉
No excuse to not to start training….everyone can gain those skills if you know where to go to learn 🤷🏾
@@slwilliamsjr - only problem is that the *best* places usually require you to sign up for a 'long-term commitment'!
@@ephennell4ever I understand that! However, depending on the skill set learned, a long term commitment isn’t a bad thing 🤷🏾
"Damn, he´s good."
Well, he trained Obi-wan AND Batman, what did you expect?
And saved the lives of thousands of jews
@@Cthemacman Yup. thanks for reminding me that not all heroes wear capes.
Or jedi robes.
He killed a massive wolf with a watch and vodka bottles too
He also summoned the ghost of Stonewall Jackson, and the mighty Minotaur.
@@BipoIarbear that movie you are talking where he fight wolves was such a good movie its called the grey i think
Many people didn't think that an aging actor as Liam could pull off an action flick, but boy did he ever. Such a good movie.
The fact that he was abit older made it even better for me seemed more dad material then most celebrities!
@Marc Caldwell He doesn't do well in the later films. There's a famous 'Liam jumps a fence' scene where the camera cuts 15 times in 5 seconds, its pretty hilarious....
umm no no one thought that when this came out. sean Connery, Harrison Ford, Arnold, Stallone that comment makes zero sense.
@@ReymundoCortez Liam rarely played action heroes and he was 56 when Taken came out. Even he thought that Taken would be a direct-to-video release.
That's cos most people are THICK AS SHIT.
That kidnapping scene is still so insane. You can feel the fear in Kim's voice and The look on Brian's face is just phenomenal throughout the scene
As good as it can be without method acting
Yeah, it's super crazy. It's also super easy to imagine that happening in real life. Messed up part is that it does happen all over the world.
I got the WORST chills at the theatre ... they've only slightly gotten better with repeated viewings 🤣😂
Yeah but he loses his Albanian voice towards the end begging when he says "please not that"
49:11 I remember the director said that what he liked about the casting of Liam Neeson, is that Neeson is a big guy and a former boxer, so he makes his character physically imposing, but he's still able show vulnerability and tenderness when it comes to his daughter.
Lied, or liked?
Liam has those weepy eyes.
@@Cheepchipsable Thanks for the heads up about my typo.
yea and if i recall correctly , Liam had a serious leg injury not long before this film and worked hard to get into shape to do this physical role
I bawl my eyes out everytime at the end when she says "you came for me" because I think of all the people and children who never have that chance of anyone saving them😪
True.. Very True
For me its when he replied, 'l told you I would'...waterworks every time
Epstein Island. Unfortunately, real life isn't a movie.
LOL 🤣
My baby girl knows I'd come for her, because I've done many things to protect my kids. She is now 25, so you can imagine what I've had to go through.
Nevertheless, I live in a notorious area and I'm no Angel, but EVERYONE know my kids and know to pay respect. As I say, I'm no Angle and I thrived off violence. However, once I had Children my heart changed. I've got too much to lose, so behaved myself.
Touch my kids though and I'd switch.

🤣
🤦😭😂
Nope 🤣
Also, I feel like if the movie was called Safe Trip in Paris, it would be fine
@@spunkybug3507 I audibly chuckled :D
E: "Oh, no! The shoes and the white couch! 'Something terrible will happen.' the couch!" 🤣
This movie is so grounded in reality. Such a sad world where kids are being abducted and sold or worse. It's cathartic when the dad gets his revenge on them
Also a world where parents don't care enough, trying to be "friends" instead of parents
the UN did this in Bosnia. UN police employees helped kidnap girls and sell them..
As a guy, it's still so crazy to me how vulnerable women can be to this kind of stuff... and in their OWN HOMES. For me this scene was very creepy, but watching these ladies get genuinely upset is like a gut punch.
@@headoverheels88 Sure we care way more when something happens to women but you/men are way more likely to get assaulted/hurt/killed than a woman/women
@@headoverheels88 people in general are far too trusting basing the trust on how the person looks
This is every fathers nightmare and also what every father wishes they could do to protect his daughter if he needs to.
Very powerful movie and sadly hits close to home for a lot of families/fathers who's daughters are victims of human trafficking.
46:48 He was waiting for the slightest moment of hesiitation, in order to shoot him safely. Once he began to barter for his life, he knew that the dude's focus wasn't entirely on the knife and the daughter, thus the grip of the knife on her throat loosened. Once he saw that, he took the shot, knowing he wouldn't drag the knife across her throat as he fell.
The look on y’all’s face when he shot the wife. Absolutely non duplicatable.
Up to this point, his wrath was reserved for those who deserved it. Even though the wife was innocent, this was the scene that showed Neeson's character was prepared to go to ANY extreme to save his daughter.
I remember everyone in my theater myself included having the same reaction! gasps and screams 😮
I was shook but immediately I was like “that’s what he gets” you have more info and tryna lock me up he was ready to read Paris to the ground about his baby
Yeah when I saw that I was like “waitttttt, noooooooo not her, she’s innocenttttttttt” got me frustrated. I understood that he was willing to do anything for his daughter but turning his frustrations on the wife was not it also I’m shocking the children didn’t leave their rooms after hearing the gunshots, what deep sleeps geez.
At the beginning Elenore is the stereotypical bitter and resentful ex-spouse who takes every opportunity to not only undermine Brian's parental efforts towards their daughter at her birthday party, but also to make him out to be the villain when he doesn't indulge Kim's irresponsible whim to go to Paris, and she behaves like a typical spoiled teenager.
I saw this one in the theater. I never noticed that after Marco says good luck in the house Liam’s character immediately looks up resizing the room.
Also in that scene when he says good luck it sounded like the entire audience took a deep breath in.
Ive seen this movie at least 20 times and i love their reaction when he finally finds Marco when he says "good luck"
Amazing movie. His speech to the bad guys over the phone is still one of the best ever!
When Neeson says, "they are going to take you". He said it with such pain, but calm.
My favorite part was when he plays the tape of the "good luck" over and over on thr private jet, his mind was made up. He WAS going to kill him.
"I told you I would find you."
Best line in the whole movie.
Hard to imagine that studios couldnt see Neeson as a leading action hero, and he spent years trying to convince them! 😳
Well, he made some bad mistakes along the way. The movie Satisfaction (with Justine Bateman and Julia Roberts) was a major laughable flop. Even Julia Roberts tries to deny being in it.
It's easy to imagine, because studios today are FULL OF SHIT
It's like the decades it took Leslie Nelson to break into comedy. They just couldn't see an actor of his straight laced performance being a comedy actor... But it was precisely that, to which his comedy hit so hard. Delivering rediculous lines with out a hint of laughter.
49:22 Such a passionate, heartfelt reaction from all the girls - that must come (as Lia & all of you comment) from a genuine empathy for the girls like Kim, who are real-life victims of human trafficking.
who is kim?
@@alexng4 the girl in the movie..............
The girl is the movie is not a "real-life" victim. Although, "yes" this happens, and it is far worse than most people can begin to understand.
What I love about this film is how much Brian loved his daughter. It reminded me of how much my father loved me. Even as an adult he wanted to come over and set a carpet cleaner straight because he was stressing me out. I was over 30 and my dad wanted to protect me from a stupid carpet cleaner that was trying to upsell me on stuff I didn't need.
Brian was prepared and did whatever it took to get his daughter back and that is what I love about this film. Brian just handled his business and didn't care about the corrupt and half corrupt people that were standing in his way. He just took them out and kept on towards the goal of getting his daughter. I love that. No silly discussions, just efficient steps to save the family.
It’s movies like this that make the question roll in my head “how far would you go to save someone you loved” not all of us have what skills Brian had, not all of us are as efficient in hand to hand combat or weapons, and yet we’d still try to save them. It’s a both haunting, and humbling thought. Just a movie did that so well, you know you did good with it
The knife is called a Kerambit, it's fillipeno in origin, used in a kali/arnis. It mimics a cats claw, and used in a blade down grip. Out of all the knives out there that one is a pure combat knife. Loved your reactions ladies, Stay Frosty out there!!
Somehow i don't think they would grasp, "Stay Frosty".
If you don't me asking are knives also the hardest ones to find?
@@beastwolf8173 nah Kerambits are easy to find
The Karambit is actually of Indonesian origin. It’s associated with the Minangkabau people of West Sumatra, Indonesian.
Weird a msszzlim guy would use such a knife. 😅
Great reaction! Especially poignant to watch your reactions as young women that know this happens in real life. Interesting that Liam Neeson says he didn’t think the movie would be a big hit, in fact he thought it would be a low budget, straight-to-video movie. He took it for the paycheck and thought it would be fun to spend six weeks in Paris with his family. This movie redefined his career as an action star and it’s awesome to watch over and over again.
He had every reason to think that. But every so often a low budget movie becomes legendary.
Can you imagine, as a father, hearing your daughter screaming and being taken and being so helpless in that moment. And then to remain calm and process it to work out what to do. great movie
The speech Liam Neeson gives over the phone to the bad guys. Chills every time. Goes straight to the top of the "do not mess with this guy" list. Marco fucked around and found out.
Agreed. There's a clip on TH-cam where Seth McFarlane is on one of those late shows (the one hosted by Jimmy Fallon), and there's this game where you get a random celebrity and some other random component, and you must apply that random thing while doing the celebrity impression. Well, Seth got "Liam Neeson" and "AT&T", and he did a long distance sales pitch in the style of Neeson a-la Taken, and it was gold, lol. If you can find it, check it out. Seth did a good Neeson impression.
37:10
The change in Ellie’s facial expressions from when he showed the bullets from the gun to when he shot the wife 😂
You're right! 🤣 After the shot, all of their expressions (at 37:15 in particular) are awesome!
Lmao too good
It’s unfortunate that this still is happening in real life to this very day, nationally and internationally.
Russia is a big profiteer from the slave trade, and drug trade. And yet we have so many in our own government who endorse them for the promise of keeping their highly paid and prestigious jobs. Exactly like thousands of years of history.
48:10 There is a reason for that. He knew that they had a family unit there, even if he was the ex, and he wanted her current family to be together, without complicating anything with his presence. That's Real Father energy right there.
movie still holds up today. the sequels are not as good but taken as a movie does speak alot to many parents.
Part 3 was so generic. Getting framed with his ex wife's murder. How original
Only the first one exists.
Umm... so you think movies today are significantly better than back in those days? Haha kid you are funny 😄
@@gmshadowtraders that is not even close to what i said.
I think they're all good :)
"He had to start with knife, not with punch." I knew Ellie should watch this film ever since her reaction to The Equalizer. 😝
The girls: “OMG, I wish he was my dad” and “He’s the best dad ever!”
Their dads: 😒
Do you know their dads personally or did you just pull that out of your ass? ☺
Every parent, every child should know that THIS IS the world we live in sadly. This goes on every day and we all need to do more to prevent it.

Moral: always listen to your father they are your protectors
You ladies are awesome. Saying "I'm going to call my daddy after this" was wonderful 💜
I bet she forgot, lol.
But it would be sweet if she did. I kinda did the "aww" thing when she said that.
The dinner scene will never get old for me. He's such a savage for what he did and say but i absolutely love it. Man's is not messing around with his quest to find his daughter
The knife is a karambit, a very popular knife in Silat (Indonesian Martial Art) and Filipino Martial Arts, which was a lot of the fighting styles used in the movie.
About the singer at the beginning. It may not be people trying to kill her, but also all her "fans" who might want to get an autograph or touch her and try to be close to her and if everyone wants that at the same time there can be a stampede and chaos can ensue. In the chaos, violence happens and that is why security and bodyguards are needed.
Plus there are "obsessed" fans who do weird crap like this and often try to harm celebrities or worse...John Lennon was killed by one for example.
@@RedRoseSeptember22 Yeah I know there was also a couple US presidents who were shot by people who prentended to be "fans" (at least one was assassinated that way) as well as Ghandi.
@@RedRoseSeptember22 The assassination of John Lennon was less of a fan thing
Selena was killed by the president of her fan club. A few other stars have had issues with fans and just random crazies.
A great movie with a happy ending. Sadly, human trafficking is very real and most stories don't end that well.
Seldom they end well.
Vicky: Damnnn he is good.
Michelle: why? Because he broke a window?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love Michelle
You all look so great! Awesome reaction ladies. This is one of my favorite Liam Neeson movies. The line, “I don’t know who you are but…” is an iconic quote now and has been parodied so many times on TV. Thanks for watching it!
Indeed! The only reason I'm here is cos of the thumbnail. A bunch of young pretty girls, what can be better 😉
My favorite is Seth MacFarlane doing the speech as Kermit the Frog on the Graham Norton Show
As a dad of twin girls...I would do the same for them..(any dad would)... sadly today's society is vilifying dad's feelings this way...with toxic masculinity..dads need masculinity to protect our girls from the evil in this world!
Do you have a particular set of skills?
Exactly, any man who wouldn't even try to do something like this for his kids can't even be called dad.
If men tried to do this, politicians would have them arrested and the media would call them "white supremacists" or "Russian agents".
The elite have their mind-control down to a science.
That’s not what toxic masculinity even means nothing Liam did was even toxic is was justified in every way
@@shania991 I never said what he did was toxic??..but just being a strong and acting on protective masculine traits is called toxic...well that's my experience of it anyway
I genuinely forgot you had reacted to this movie. Watching it again here reminded me of how powerful and emotional this movie was for you all. Seeing this movie with you ladies gave me a new perspective I had never thought of before. Thank You for this incredibly powerful reaction Ellie, Lia, Michelle & Viki.
the knife is a karambit or kerambit, kurambik or karambiak it is a small Indonesian curved knife resembling a claw from Minangkabau people of West Sumatra. The karambit is one of the weapons commonly used in pencak silat and Filipino martial arts.
I really love that taken is getting reacted to a lot lately. It's a movie series worth watching man. These my favorite.
Loved your reactions to this. One of the best I've seen. I made a big mistake when this was released. I saw the trailer and was suspicious of allowing his daughter to be taken. What a stupid cretin I was. Two years later, I went to visit my dad in Florida, USA, and I saw it on his big tv in his home office and I could have kicked myself. Turned out to be one of the best thrillers I had seen in years. I ordered it on US blu ray as soon as I got home. Still have it. An amazing thriller. Sadly, also, this really does go on even now and it's sickening to know that. But he was able to save his daughter, that was the point. Like you said, one of the greatest fathers ever, despite not being there much to begin with. He more than made up for that. We don't always get great fathers.
The four of you took the trauma and the fear of the father and of all of the abused girls straight into your hearts and gave yourselves to it. Your hearts are pure and good. I always enjoy your reactions, but the four of you won my heart with this one. God bless and keep you all safe. I hope you all find whatever you are looking for in this life and are blessed with peace and happiness. 🌹🌹🌹🌹
From a male perspective I was always disgusted by the human trafficking subject matter---but watching it with you ladies, I'M TERRIFIED!!! It was like watching it over again for the first time. It's not like I didn't empathize or feel for the kidnapped girls---it was just...I dunno---Different---watching it with you gals. I'm subbed!
Seeing as at least 70% of people who are trafficked are female(women & girls), this movie will hit different for women. We are more vulnerable & aren’t able to fight back as well as a man could. Its one of our biggest fears. If not for ourselves, but any woman or girl we know. Nowhere is truly safe for us.
Exact same here! If I don't see these girls' reaction, it starts to seem like girls in general simply don't want to be bothered by this topic.
You girls are crack up , “ take your knife and sleep “ 😂when he’s getting electrocuted, “it’s not enough pain”😂 great reaction, a fathers love can be amazing, but there’s very few great fathers these days , hope you all have great parents, love and cherish them because it’s becoming a rare commodity.❤️💙
At the end...when step daddy says "Brian...anything you need..."......while looking straight at the delusional ex wife, I would have said "Two words......SOLE....CUSTODY!"
Damn! Best comment on here.
Right... 😂
Not much use. She's almost 18. Soo..
Liam Neeson opening monologue to the kidnappers "I have a special sets of skills" has become Cinematic stuff of legend. I want a Taken/John Wick spinoff: Liam Neeson needs to team up with John Wick to rescue his kidnapped dog from the international dog trade
I have a lack of skills - Peter Griffin 🤣
Or worse: Liam Neeson's daughter is framed for the death of John Wick's dog...
"He has to start with knife not with punch!"
Elle proving that shes still savage as fuck! lmao
It's so wild to see the difference women and men react to this movie. Like me, ya'll react to things that men just don't pick up on or feel about seeing the women that men dont. I have seen a bunch of reactions of guys to this movie and none of them felt for the girls at the constuction site/house, they were just focusing on the fight scene. Love that I feel validated by all of you. This was a great watch. :)
The feeling I had as a kid the first time I watched this can never be replicated in any action thrillers nowadays. There's something so impactful about this film that I can never ever forget.
The movie hit a nerve with everyone.
With kids I can only imagine how powerful it must have been, especially beacuse it deals with true-to-life subject matter that is relevant to kids.
@@dialecticalmonist3405 as a kid, my parents always remind me to never talk to strangers but never knew or see a re enactment of the real terror of being in danger trusting or talking to one...until I saw this movie. It was astonishing to me as a kid because Liam Neeson is a badass but more importantly, I truly realized the harsh reality of the real world and made me more vigilant to my surroundings.
@@bhardnavares5903 I am glad to know that
So many great moments in this movie, but the "you don't remember me.... i told you I would find you," line is always sooo satisfying. Same with "I believe you, but that's not gonna save you."
The kidnapping scene is awesome, but the one in 36:54 is my favorite; Liam Neeson is great. The way he shoots the woman without hesitation and threats him while his wife is bleeding out, showing truly that he's not joking around, is perfect
When Viki said, "Damn, he is good", I said, "Why, cuz he broke a window?" at the exact same time as Michelle. Soooo funny 😄
I have to say,as much as I love all these Ladies I just could not help but watch Ellie throughout this movie for all her facial expressions and comments, she is such a sweetheart but every now and again she would scream out "KILL THEM/HIM or SHOOT HIM...This had me laughing so much. She has such an expressive face.Looking forward to the next one.
*KILL KILL KILL!*
Yeah, she went through the emotional wringer.
She was actually surprisingly calm compared to some of her earlier solo reactions. I remember her quite clearly yelling "BASTARD!!!" and "KILL HIM!" at one or two of the particularly despicable villains. 😆
When y'all said "Jean from X-Men", my heart melted. Subbed. Y'all are awesome. I love these kinds of first-watch reaction videos.
This movie is phenomenal by far one of my favorite movies everybody should call their fathers and say they love them after watching this movie
Damn, I've never seen so much emotion in a reaction video. Good job.
Ellie, you're not only a beautiful person with a great personality, you wear your heart on your sleeve. It really is stirring to watch.

A great, heart wrenching movie based on reality, with a terrific heart warming ending. If only it could be true for more young women, second to drugs, human trafficking is the 2nd biggest grossing illegal business on the planet. It touches and destroys so many lives, directly and indirectly, and too too many of our young sisters, mothers and daughters fall prey to predators. Loved the reaction from all you women, the emotion y'all showed spoke volumes, and the look on your faces when he shot the wife was classic. The scene at the end when she said"you came for me" is a gut puncher that gets me every time,a tear jerker of a moment that just tugs at my poor heart every single time. Great reaction to a great movie, well done ladies
THANK YOU !!!.
I freaking love this movie. liam is what a real dad should do
He has a special set of skills, most don't
I was ten when this movie came out. I don't remember well my first reaction to watching this. Growing up, my family watched a lot of movies, so as my parents started putting it on more, it became nothing more than another random action movie to me. It was just a dad beating up some guys to get his baby back. The REASON why he needed to get her back, what was happening to those girls, what happened to the daughter's FRIEND- it didn't affect me in the slightest.
Watching you girls' genuine reaction to these scenes has put this movie into a new perspective for me. I always felt bad for the girls before, but watching it again now, my heart ACHES for them. Thank you for what you do, Homies. I appreciate you!
Moments when Liam is changing his voice from regular to DEATH-BRINGER are brilliant
24:59 Viki: "Every single one of those people need to be killed, slowly ."
25:11 Also Viki: "(No! I didn't mean the girls!)"
I absolutely loved your reaction!! This is my favorite movie. Just… a father who does ANYTHING for his child hits me right in the feels.
A little comment though. Cut some slack on Leonor (Bryan’s ex wife), you can’t blame her for not “worrying” too much. Bryan was the one who during his work experienced and saw the darkest side of the world, not her, considering he neglected Kim and her for years. That’s why Bryan left his job. People who hadn’t seen that kind of stuff always thinks or try not to think that will happen to them (a clear example is the pop artist character, she was all sarcastic and even not caring about her guards UNTIL something dangerous happened). It’s the same with Kim and Leonor. It’s like an explanation to her behavior before everything happens.
I say this because I used to dislike her character, saying the same stuff as you, like she doesn’t know shit or “oh NOW you care about your daughter’s safety?” But c’mon, it’s the typical she just didn’t know until it was too late
I fell in love with Liam’s parental character,” after this movie, it’s deep and pretty dark, the best combinations really. The kidnapping scene, the first time I watched it, was so heartbreaking, seeing Bryan’s face trying to keep it together but deep down he’s dying inside.
Lmaooo when Ellie said “fancy bitch” 😂😂😂😂😂
I appreciated your reaction to this film, but I feel like we've all heard horror stories about this type of thing - and it happens all over the world. It happens to all types of girls: smart, rich, poor, working, locals, people on vacation, etc. There are countless horrors that we humans do to each other. How do people just look the other way, and let this happen? Just for a bribe? It's awful. Stay safe everyone.
@5:45 I really like the way that Sheerah refers to Bryan as “Mr. Mills”. It shows her total respect for the man who just saved her life, and it shows that she is a good person.
4:47 Notoriety, same with the woman who shot Selena and others who've been stalked and attacked celebs. Mental fans. 45:54 And that knife in english is called a Karambit, I have a couple myself. I was already somewhat aware of this kind of trafficking before seeing this, but afterwards, the more I've learned, scary stuff for sure.
"I'm calling my dad after this movie."
What every father would love to hear.
Neesons best action flick without a doubt. That phone scene is iconic.
From this film the great Liam Neeson would dedicate himself to action movies. He is very moving to see his reaction, girls. Obviously they feel identified because this happens to many girls in the world. By the way, a movie with a similar plot, that of women trafficking, is the incredible "Eastern Promises", with a brutal performance by Viggo Mortensen, I recommend it.
Awwwh you ladies are so precious! ❤❤❤ the calling your daddy’s awwwh ❤ and seeing y’all’s reaction of how compassionate you all was well was so so beautiful (: absolutely precious (:
My friend ended up in Seattle... Her parents got a creepy call from a 'preacher' I called a friend who knew that city better than I did and we almost went n did this (rescued her) until I heard it was her choice to be there... Favorite movie ever.
What did the preacher want from the parents?
And where is your friend now? Is she still there?
“After this, i call my dad…” that so sweet. Thank you for your reaction.
This movie and 'Man on fire' with Denzel Washington are some of my favorite movies. Heartbreaking but very good acting.
I remember going into the theater with my friend when I was 18 and we had no clue what this movie was about. We were so pleasantly surprised at how good this movie was!
Great reactions. Fun to see four girls so justice and revenge oriented. Well played.
I’m a 57 year old US Army Veteran, Infantry, Cold War era. My daughter will be 26 this year, she warns people to this day about me.
Harm my daughter and I’ll show you a level of crazy that will make your worst nightmares seem like a happy place…..
I have often told mine to point out that their dad is a Vietnam era veteran, and he has some very nasty 'friends'.
I really enjoy this series and you guys had the best reaction ever. Great job young ladies. It does show how bad the world can be and you have to be aware while traveling. The acting was great. The second one isn't as good as this one but the third one is very close if not tied because of the action and suspense. Hope you get to check them all out.
Such a sad movie, despite the success of father and daughter, because throughout there are young women losing their lives. You get drugged at a party, or a van just pulls up and scoops you in, and nobody ever sees you again.
It happens to boys too. The only people I've known who got kidnapped were boys (1 recovered, 1 killed).
about 18 years ago i was at a bar in berlin, an australian girl who i had the hots for was dancing and she was literally pulled away into an alleyway i got there in time to save her it scares me today to think what could have happened to her.
Dude that’s terrifying! You’re a hero. I hope you saved that girl from a horrible fate. It’s a scary world for us women young and old, men and people like you in general are an absolute godsend
Ellies facial expressions in the fight scenes 😂😂 like she was throwing the punches herself
I love this film. If I were Brian I would have told my ex-wife I told you so. And don't even get me started on what I would tell that husband of hers. I wouldn't have hesitated.
I think his best acting role was when he played Oscar Schindler his second best was playing Brian Mills
It’s amazing to me that it took more than 10 years for him to become an action hero after Rob Roy in 1995.
Ever hear of Darkman???
5:19 Thats Holly Valance, both a actress and a music artist from Australia. She actually had a role in Australias most known tv serie/soap opera called Neighbours, where also Kylie Minogue and alot of famous actors/actresses,models and music artists comes from. I have had a crush on her for years and years, such a underrated actress and solo artist. She has a really small role in Taken, but i think the role is perfect for her as Sheerah. As the artist that gave "Liam" her own vocal coaches card, and then she ends up being the woman to embrace and comfort his daughter towards the end on top of it,like it was meant to be that they all met. I just wish we saw more of her,Liam and Maggie as they seemed to have great chemistry together.
No daughter should experience this pain
No mother should be so arrogant and entitled as to not listen to the father who knows better. IRL, the father would have shot the trip down just for Mom being the snowflake that she was.
The actress who played Amanda is Katie Cassidy aka Laurel Lance in Arrow.
That look isn't pain. It's concentration, uncertainty and fury.
What a wonderful reaction from all of you. I know in my heart that it was everyone's first time.
42:32 is why I love Ellie's reactions. Hahahaha.
I agree, her reactions are so funny, that bit was hilarious.
He's really good at everything. For example, when he broke the door window and reached through to open the door. Notice he has a leather jacket on and uses it to shield his wrist from the glass 16:44
The sad part about this movie... What happened to Bryan's daughter? That happens ALL the time, but most of these women don't have a daddy like Bryan Mills to rescue them.
It's not that they necessarily want to kill the singer woman, it's most likely a kidnap and ransom thing. They could make MILLIONS ransoming a person like that off.
@@Chrisfragger1that or obsessed fan like what happened to Christina Grimme at her show
Rewatching the movie recently, I used to wonder why he took her hair from the shattered mirror, placed it in the bag as if it were going to be used as evidence of some kind, but then was never used or mentioned of again. I always thought of it as a continuity error. Now, as a father, I realize he took it because he thought of the possibility that this might be the last organic reminder of his child he’ll ever have.
