I really hope he doesn’t still have his long hair and beard for it, though. That look is awesome for John Wick, but it’s pretty much been his every face for the last decade. Hopefully the movie comes good, I’m looking forward to seeing it.
The scene when time stops and Lucifer comes to collect John's soul is one of my favorite movie scenes of all time. John is arrogant enough to think that Lucifer will come personally to collect his soul and he is RIGHT. And then Lucifer cures John's cancer just to keep him from going to heaven.
Also since you guys watched this. All of the homies should watch “The Devils Advocate” together. One of my favorite movies with a great cast. Keanu Reeves, Al Pacino, Charlize Theron and more. Amazing plot.
Peter Storemare got less than 10 minutes of screentime, yet his portrayal of Lucifer has now been recognized as being one of the most unique and startling performances of the character in all of film history. Add in that its one of the few performances where Satan acts as a neutral third party--basically stopping an apocalypse simply because Gabriel was interfering with his games--makes it a compelling and truly memorable portrayal.
@Seasick Viking - the best Devil character there is, no question about it. The next could be Al Pacino in Devil's Advocate, and Viggo Mortensen in The Prophecy.
I’m sorry I have to respectfully disagree. His performance was definitely a great one but it does not touch Al Pacino’s portrayal in The Devil’s Advocate. It was said that Al Pacinos speech at the end was so good, that people were convinced that what he was saying was absolute and true lol!
He interferes 'cause Gabriel is messing with Lucifer's plans, essentially trying to cut-in on Lucifer's action ... Lucifer will *not* allow another to supplant him, or even just shade him a bit!
15:22 Contantine used a holy weapon called the Shroud of Moses which is basically a handkerchief he binds around his hand and lits aflame. The light it releases is deadly to the damned. It's easy to miss, but back in the day I played the Constantine video game as well where they explain some more, and the Shroud of Moses was one of those rare powerful instant kill weapons.
Constantine 2 writer Akiva Goldsman confirmed the sequel "expands on the themes" of the 2005 movie, particularly on "maintaining the barrier between earth and the evil creatures that are on the other side."
Movie buffs may or may not have noticed the cameo by actress Michelle Monaghan at 38:14. She originally had a larger role as "Ellie" - Constantine's demon half-breed informant and friend with benefits. Her role was drastically cut (it's not even evident that Constantine knows here here) because the producers thought that the Constantine character wasn't lonely enough if he was in a sexual relationship.
I think she is my favorite angel because she perfectly nails the "Androgynous" look an angel should have, in my mind. Gabriel in this movie looks both female and male, as well as not female and not male. It's so well done, I've never seen a better portrayal of an angel
I always thought that the coin handled by Balthazar was one of the actual 30 pieces of silver. Also note Gabriel was also the Ancient One in Dr. Strange.
The "dagger", as you called it, was a bronze spear point, whose wooden throwing handle had biodegraded over the last nearly two thousand years, and it is called the Spear of Destiny because in 33 A.D., a Roman soldier had used that spear to pierce Jesus Christ's chest on the third day He was being crucified on the cross, and when spear was pulled out, "blood and water flowed." because it had pierced and drained Jesus' lungs. Said spear had a, b, c: been kept in a Catholic monastery in Austria until Adolf Hitler went to steal it during World War II, because whomsoever has it shall rule the world, but it had been moved elsewhere, unlike the Nazi swastika flag showed it was in in this movie.
I have loved the stories of Constantine all my life. Constantine was one of the very first openly bisexual characters in the comics and in my opinion is still the most badass LGBT+ rep out there right now. Keanu was also a perfect choice to play Constantine given his strong lgbt+ support and his openly admitted bisexual leanings. I also love Tilda in this.
There have been some great cosplays of Gabriel from this. It's too much to wish that if/when they get a sequel, that Rachel Weisz would come back. Papa Midnight is another great character. That great line "It's definitely... mostly... not about the girl." This was the first reaction with you girls I've seen, with you getting jump-scared 🤐😧 😄
Notice the spear point was found in a nazi flag. The Nazis famously tried to delve into the arcane and demonology by getting the "Spear of Destiny" which pierced the rib of Christ. They take this idea and run with it in Castle Wolfenstein, Wolfenstein 3D, and Spear of Destiny
16:00 : He used the cat to go to hell , in Egypt (if i'm not wrong) they think cats are the guardians of the afterlife/Underworld. And here, the time was not stoppred but really really slow. He explain 2min in heart is like ultra long in hell.
1. 21:09 You were saying, Ariel? 2. That woman in Doctor Strange y’all were referring to was called The Ancient One. She was two witches and apparently a fallen angel. 3. Idk if any of the Homies will ever see this but I wonder if they’re either religious or spiritual. If they’re either Christian, atheist, or agnostic. I’m always curious about bout these things. Magy seems to be subliminally a Christian. Ellie believes that there’s always karma which ain’t really saying much if you come to think of it. And, Viki and I have had a discussion last year bout forgiveness and during the discussion, Viki confessed bout herself and all of us as well being filled wit sin which we all are, of course. I’m just curious bout these things all the time. You know? Not to also mention the girls seeing some of the following movies that have somewhat involved God in them including The Green Mile, Hacksaw Ridge, most recently and obviously Constantine and most recently than that, It’s A Wonderful Life. I have no problem if they’re atheist or agnostic or even spiritual. What I’m asking is just a curiosity thing. 4. I learned this from someone who I thought was a friend of mine but was really a cowardly, backstabbing enemy who’s definitely religious or at least she claims to be. Everybody’s afraid of demons which I get that but she said the thing is demons only control you and have power over you if you let them. So, everybody in that movie that was possessed by a demon pretty much allowed the demons to possess them. 5. I always wondered if people automatically went to hell for committing suicide. 6. Moon Sugar seriously had a cocktail wit the devil in hell last week?
This is the First movie where I saw you two display just about every possible emotion there is. Give yourself a ""Pat on the BacK' and make sure nothing is hiding behind the counc😵💫
Wow! What a reaction! Never seen Michelle scream so hard before! And I agree with Sheldon Dyck ... you girls should check out _"The Gift"_ with Kate Blanchett - and a *very* different Keanu Reeves!
Michelle: "probably it's super hard to play a divine creature." Oh, I don't know about that. Ellie seems to have no trouble playing one every time she appears on the screen. 😇One might refer to her performances as, angelic.
This is really a consistently under rated movie. I just realized you all have never done "The 40 Year Old Virgin." You would absolutely LOVE this comedy. Come on people give me some up-votes to get the Homies to consider it!
A couple years ago when Keanu Reeves was making John Wick or John Wick 2 he was on the TV show and they asked what movie would you love to do a sequel on that you haven't done like speed point break.. they named a lot of movies and he said this one without a doubt and now thanks to the people that made the Snyder cut possible the people.. studios are actually listening to actors and fans he is now in production for Constantine the sequel so awesome..
When it comes to movies you have to figure out what is the greatest movie you've ever watched and what is the worst movie you ever watched and that is how you rate movies. Constantine from 1 through 10, 10 being the highest Constantine is about five it's watchable and entertaining plus I like Keanu Reeves.
Commenting at the begining of the video i know you both found out by the end of the movie but at the begining of the movie what was found was not a dagger it is the spear of destiny, it's the spear a Roman soldier stabbed Jesus in the ribs during his crusifiction, it is a metaphor for trying to give Jesus mercy, it was wrapped in a Nazi flag cause hittler was obsessed with religious artifacts
You should really check out the 'Hellblazer' comic books on which this movie is based (loosely). The movie crams elements from about three years' worth of long, intertwining story arcs into two hours and moves the story from London to Los Angeles.
Who the Hell edits these? Makes me think of that Lil’ Wayne bar “I’m sticking to the script, you ****** [TheHomies] skipping scenes!” You don’t have to edit so much out. In fact, you could play a brand new movie on YT by editing out every seventh second and be in accordance with copyright laws.
Great film & entertaining reaction. But, you really shouldn't watch films that frighten you when your dog is present. Humans give off 'fear pheromones' when scared; dogs can smell this, & it stresses them out. They worry about their owners.
Not a dagger it's the spare tip of a Roman spear that is presumably 2,000 years old in the movie and it was the spirit that pierced Jesus side while he was on the cross.
Please do a reaction or at least definitely see "The Gift" 2000. A good movie, very much overlooked, with Keanu in an unusual role and Cate Blanchette (released just before her "Lord of the Rings" appearances as Galadriel) Creepy, some horror and suspense and mystery.
I will prove in court that Actor Keanu Reeves from Constantine and Actor from Keanu Reeves from John Wick are two biologically different people, two different actors. They've known each other for 30 years and it's their 25 year scam. They both have been working under the same name for 25 years.
The Prophecy (1995) and Fallen (1998) are 2 films to watch if you enjoyed this one. Also worth watching although more well known is "The Devils Advocate (1997).
It's a spear tip not a dagger it's called the spear of destiny. it's supposed to give great power to the one who holds it. It's supposed to be the spear that pierced JESUS'S side while he was on the cross
The Constantine character was the inspiration for the Supernatural tv show as well. Interesting fact: The storyboard artists designed Hell to look like whatever location they were in at the time had been bombed and then time had paused at the moment of explosion, hence the constant disintegration of the landscape
Hey Guys, luv u both and ur channel, been watching since like day one! Maybe day 2 i dont know...So happy ur watching Constantine, one of my favourite Comic Book Movies, DC movies...it just didnt get enough respect when it was released..its also dope that they are bringing back Keanu as Constantine in the DCEU or at least they said they are, we will see...Such a weird, original, scary and bad ass movie, have watched a couple of times...Hope u enjoy, this and the comic book movie 'Dredd 2012' are the most Unrated comic book movies ever!
33:15 The "dagger" you see being carried around is "The Spear of Destiny" which is supposedly the spear used to pierce the side of Christ while on the cross. That spear could be used to let him pass over.
And a lot of people don't know that Constantine is a DC character.. I wonder if they're going to go that route now that there's a DC Universe.. cuz he's a really good character and the DC animated movies and comic books
Keanu Reeves was recently asked what character of all that he played would he like to revisit and he said Constantine. Now they are making a part 2.
I really hope he doesn’t still have his long hair and beard for it, though. That look is awesome for John Wick, but it’s pretty much been his every face for the last decade. Hopefully the movie comes good, I’m looking forward to seeing it.
We need part 2 🙌
Sooo glad they got Peter Stormare back, too.
wait what? Really? Ive been waiting since 2005 for that.
Yahoo
Peter Stormore's portrayal of the devil is right up there with Heath Ledger's Joker
Hell yeah. Hi is the best devil on cinema history.
The scene when time stops and Lucifer comes to collect John's soul is one of my favorite movie scenes of all time. John is arrogant enough to think that Lucifer will come personally to collect his soul and he is RIGHT. And then Lucifer cures John's cancer just to keep him from going to heaven.
John didn't just think, he knew that Lucifer will come for him. Even Midnight told him so. So not just arrogant, but also smart.
A very human reaction Spite people you hate
Also since you guys watched this. All of the homies should watch “The Devils Advocate” together. One of my favorite movies with a great cast. Keanu Reeves, Al Pacino, Charlize Theron and more. Amazing plot.
Now THERE'S a recommendation. What an unbelievable performance and wow, does Al Pacino absolutely deliver in his role here. 👏
Al Pacinooo
Yes, another great movie where they can show up high, talk over the dialogue, joke around, and miss most of the plot.
@@mathewnavarro1152 )l
for sure!
I always thought this movie was so underrated. Glad to hear there's supposedly a sequel in the works.

Him and Robert Judd's portrayal of Lucifer in Crossroads is also short and epic.
15:22 Contantine used a holy weapon called the Shroud of Moses which is basically a handkerchief he binds around his hand and lits aflame. The light it releases is deadly to the damned. I watched this movie when I was 14. That scene with that old woman on a bus scared the shit out of me.
Tilda Swinton (Archangel Gabriel) has played some amazing characters in her career. She doesn't get nearly enough praise for her talents, IMO.
Agreed, she is phenomenal, especially in this!
probably because they made a male angel into a female news flash there aren't any female angels they are called 'sons' of God for a reason.
@@rtruth7002 .....It's good to know that you have everything figured out.... 😁

Good point, but don't forget that Gabriel went insane. Not a good role model for the other angels.....😆
People have low expectations before seeing the movie .
People after watching the movie : Thest movie ever .
Michelle: :Not only did he save the world, he saved the girl aaaand ....he's not gonna die.
AND we get to see his abs." 🤣
Believe it or not this is a comfort movie for me..
I believe you... For me is Joker i guess, actually the Batman
I always thought that the coin handled by Balthazar was one of the actual 30 pieces of silver. Also note Gabriel was also the Ancient One in Dr. Strange.
yeah, shes an actress, named Tilda Swinton, and played a lots of characters. 🤣🤣

It was so cute how they screamed and laughed and looked at the camera!😅
Always thought Lucifer was very creepy in this movie even though he looks super ordinary
@Brad Thomas Peter Stormare is THE MAN
This is one of the best Keanu Reves movies, this movie is a masterpiece
Lucifer's entry was mindblowing.. Such a cool actor he is.
Actor Peter Stormare, who also played the wood chipper villain Gaear Grimsrud in "Fargo". He was perfect for the role.
I believe they are doing a Constantine 2 soon
If you want to see Keanu Reeves in a very different role check out The Gift starring Kate Blanchett.
Wow! What a reaction! Never seen Michelle scream so hard before!
And I agree with Sheldon Dyck ... you girls should check out _"The Gift"_ with Kate Blanchett - and a *very* different Keanu Reeves!
Yes! There are no reactions for this great movie.

I can't wait for part 2 to come out!!!!
I really like the portrayal of the devil.
Please react to :
*Devil's Advocate 1997*
Starring *Al Pacino* and *Keanu Reeves*
The effects in this movie have aged incredibly well.
Impeccably well I hope they don’t over do it in the new one

"The Devils Advocate (1997) Please....
Constantine is very underrated ever. Is a great movie. Greatness
Yes, Keanu wants wishes to make sequels

Constantine from 1 through 10, 10 being the highest Constantine is about five it's watchable and entertaining plus I like Keanu Reeves.
I thought that was a pillow on the couch till I saw the head pop up😂😂😂😂
Witnessing hell in reality is not fun. I've had many friends visit in their dreams spiritually and came back to talk about it
Commenting at the begining of the video i know you both found out by the end of the movie but at the begining of the movie what was found was not a dagger it is the spear of destiny, it's the spear a Roman soldier stabbed Jesus in the ribs during his crusifiction, it is a metaphor for trying to give Jesus mercy, it was wrapped in a Nazi flag cause hittler was obsessed with religious artifacts
One of Keanu's overlooked roles, but no less impressive.
Okay, we gotta start a Go-Fund-Me to get Ellie a new sweater.

1:16 it was the Longino Spear, which was supposed to have stabbed Jesus on the cross and was stolen by Nazis in Italy. Nobody knows where it is now.
They drink or eat from this world in order to stay grounded to this world. The same thing happened in Spirited Away
The devil's actor play in John Wick 2 as Vigo's brother...
29:58 I love this move, but let's talk about how awesome that sweater is..
I think I saw Constantine Before on FX Channel
30:20 She was like..."why can't John kiss me". The eyes never lie ;)
@TheHomiesReact Is this for real or? :D
Great film & entertaining reaction. But, you really shouldn't watch films that frighten you when your dog is present.
Humans give off 'fear pheromones' when scared; dogs can smell this, & it stresses them out. They worry about their owners.
Gabriel is a real person actually. He's one of god's angel warriors
Not a dagger it's the spare tip of a Roman spear that is presumably 2,000 years old in the movie and it was the spirit that pierced Jesus side while he was on the cross.
That’s a intense DC Comics movie for a superhero fought demons from other dimensions
PLEASE REVIEW - CELL (2016)
I love you Ellie 💕
This is probabily my favorite movie, and i really wanna see the next, Constantine 2.
You guys should react to the TV show of Constantine, it's pretty good and has such a kickass theme song 🔥😈😇
It was really great and I am still mad, it only got one season.
Keanu Reeves is just a very cool guy. I will never understand why some people hate the guy.
Plot twist...
what if gabriel arranged all this, just so Constantine gets the chance to get to heaven ?
Please do a reaction or at least definitely see "The Gift" 2000. A good movie, very much overlooked, with Keanu in an unusual role and Cate Blanchette (released just before her "Lord of the Rings" appearances as Galadriel) Creepy, some horror and suspense and mystery.
Another diabolical horror movie is *"Night of the Demons" (1988)*
21:03 The *Most Replayed* for the perfect reason. You don't get better than this..
I know its a reaction vid but rlly i prefer to see the movie more on the screen.
I will prove in court that Actor Keanu Reeves from Constantine and Actor from Keanu Reeves from John Wick are two biologically different people, two different actors. They've known each other for 30 years and it's their 25 year scam. They both have been working under the same name for 25 years.
Sulfur is also acid but you can also smell it in hell also.
12 adverts?? really? Not that good
The Prophecy (1995) and Fallen (1998) are 2 films to watch if you enjoyed this one. Also worth watching although more well known is "The Devils Advocate (1997).
I would throw the dagger into an active volcano, but one that did not emit much lava
It's a spear tip not a dagger it's called the spear of destiny. it's supposed to give great power to the one who holds it. It's supposed to be the spear that pierced JESUS'S side while he was on the cross
"Unholy Screaming" LOL
There's also a TV series with a different actor
In all seriousness there are evil demonic spirits like this to possess people. I have to pray every night after watching films like this
The Constantine character was the inspiration for the Supernatural tv show as well. Interesting fact: The storyboard artists designed Hell to look like whatever location they were in at the time had been bombed and then time had paused at the moment of explosion, hence the constant disintegration of the landscape
?????
Constantine first appeared in "SWAMP THING #37" in 1985!!!
Thanks for your reaction. Like that movie.
Hey Guys, luv u both and ur channel, been watching since like day one! Maybe day 2 i dont know...So happy ur watching Constantine, one of my favourite Comic Book Movies, DC movies...it just didnt get enough respect when it was released..its also dope that they are bringing back Keanu as Constantine in the DCEU or at least they said they are, we will see...Such a weird, original, scary and bad ass movie, have watched a couple of times...Hope u enjoy, this and the comic book movie 'Dredd 2012' are the most Unrated comic book movies ever!
it's not a dagger it's the spear of destiny the tip of the spear that impaled and killed christ when he was crucified
All praise to the great ones
We all love Keanu. And funny enough Keanu has played like 6 or 7 roles that are named John
Try 1408 next time!
Hey, have you girls reacted yet to ‘John Wick’? If not, you definitely need to.
you two should do a reaction video for Steven king's 1979's salem's lot
I wish the would make a Part 2 !
Another good film from that era is The Order.
33:15 The "dagger" you see being carried around is "The Spear of Destiny" which is supposedly the spear used to pierce the side of Christ while on the cross. That spear could be used to let him pass over.
In my country the movie finish when he take the candy
Don't worry nothing is behind you Ladies It's safe I promise 🙂👍
---> Highly recommend you react to
