Yes mate, all the time, when kingfish on, I would thought would loss it, cause light fishing gear, any rock or sea weeds , could break my light line, so sometimes , just was very lucky. 😂
wow my heart dropped when the first king came off, and again when the second one pull ran to the rocks on the right! And it dropped again when you were so close to getting the king but it slipped under the rocks! Thankfully you are just the master fishermen and got it out, so huge congrats on your king!!!! now waiting for mine....

You could land your boat in middle harbour , much easier. Parramatta river near harbour bridge ,aways very busy, is not friendly to kayak fishing.
