The thing that I love about your tutorials is that you also include the sheet music at the top. I can’t read sheet music but I understand what the dynamics mean and stuff like that, I can see how I should play the music instead of taking a guess at how I should play it. It’s the little things like that which I love about you and your channel and it’s also the reason why I think you’re one of the greatest tutorial channels out there but you’re so underrated/under appreciated. You deserve more.
I agree 100%. Anytime I search for song tutorials, I always look for them by Hugo 1st. I'd really struggle with some of these songs without sheets! I was trained w/11 yrs classical lessons, though, so it's just what I'm used to! Thanks so much, Hugo!!!
I wanna play like this and surprise my dad he taught me how to play piano when I was a kid. It may take a lot of practice but it’s worth it. He’s gonna love it. Such a beautiful master piece.
In order to sync the audio to the sheet music, this version of the song has been quantified to a fixed tempo. I strongly recommend you to check out my original performance, with all its artifacts and irregularities, to get the full experience of how I want this medley to evolve over time. After all, a 6 minute long piano medley based on the soundtrack of an epic science fiction film and techniques taken from the classical music genre isn't meant to be played with a metronome! 🎹 Check out the video here: th-cam.com/video/lqwvvmvjJvc/w-d-xo.html
Hey Hugo, love this by the way you did a fantastic job! 😍 I was wondering, what piano do you use? When you make these videos do you just record your performance off your keyboard and then sync that up or do you use a specific VST? I'm asking because it's a really pretty piano sound
Even though i can't play most of it... It's still my favorite thing to play thanks to you and your videos!!! I appreciate all of the hard work that goes into making these videos and i want to thank you for being awesome :)))

For anyone who thinks the arpeggio is present at 1:40, know that it is actually quite simple considering that it is played by dividing the notes between the two hands. Of course, if you just started studying piano yesterday, you'll see it as impossible, but if you already have a mediocre-fair technique, you'll be able to play it easily.

Hi, Can you make a piano tutorial with music sheets of the song My Only One by Sebastian Yatra ft Isabella Moner? Keep going. Your videos are amazing!!
I love your tutorials, however, the section starting at around 3:05 is not correct, it does not repeat that same right-hand pattern exactly. There is an additional pattern in there with a D and E that aligns with the walking bass note
i just need to know the finger placements, the shape of the notes, however my hand needs to rotate or move horizontally, and then practice over and over the kind of pattern that I want to reinforce in my head. The feelings that I want to keep consistent, for consistent output, despite the challenge.
Anyone know why at 0:44 it shows to hit an E note with the blue bar but the sheet music shows a G note being played? This continues on every time there is the upper E note.
@@ayo9310actually I see the treble clef symbol next to the E note, so it seems like he’s using the treble clef notation there where that would be an E. Not sure why he wouldn’t just put the E on the top of the bar but maybe that’s so it’s easy to tell that you are using the left hand.
Would you be able to record a video of you playing this exact same tune but showing your hands? For someone who doesn’t play, it’s hard to know which finger goes where.
