The included sharpening fixture results in an 80 degree cutter angle when looking straight down with cutter set at center-line of the work-piece. So if you set the tool for a 5 degree clearance, for turning or facing, you automatically get the same clearance angle for cutting in the opposite direction. A great time saver. I used these at home at at work for over 20 years.
