Story:
Sara is head of PR at a company planning to expand in Africa. She's in line for a directorship if she can prove herself, but a problem with a contract in Uzbekistan leads her to suspect her firm could be involved in sinister uses of its technological knowhow. Suddenly, she must decide where her loyalties lie.

Could someone explain the ending to Last Call?
That's just put me off listening to this if it has a dodgy ending that you don't understand!
She decided it was better to peddle PR euphemisms and keep getting paid

In the end Sarah towed the line and took her place at “the big table”. It was probably a mixture of push and pull factors such as Phil’s wife receiving a good pension, the survival of the company, the fact (or was it?) that he Phil died in a traffic accident. She didn’t seem to be motivated by money as none was offered. The phone call at the very end shows her continuing on with her job at the company.
