The most important question that arose from this episode...... what is "adamalgim"?...
Also, i don't care about you, my sweet little soyboys or fanboys of people i vagueshaded in this episode. Cry about how mean i am, cry how i don't get it and how arrogant i am. Yeah, i am, i warned about it in episode 1. Your tears are my sustenance, nomnom~ And so is your mother 💙

Lmao. You gave me big "I am nourished by your hatred" energy this episode. 10/10.

I don't care about what anyone cares about 'Jaunedice' Arc. That arc gave me a clear idea of what his character is and how his personality is and would grow up to become. His not the op mc or the edgy trauma mc. He's just a guy who wants a purpose in his life and thinks that his family legacy was the answer.

Only part way through the video but I have to say I love your rants addressing misconceptions and misinformation that floors the fandom far too often👏🏾

Personally, what I think people mean by Cast Bloat in RWBY is that there's a lot of times were a character is made, does like one thing, than disappears never to be seen again. A lot of people feel a lot of the time that those moments could've been given to the main characters, since there's a lot of moments were they're put in the background for a side character to do something. Which is fine but I think people started to get tired of it. Think CVFY in Volume 2, or ASOPS in Volume 8 getting to mourn Clover instead of Qrow. I don't think it's the amount of characters they make or have in the main cast, I think it's what they do with those characters is why some people complain.
I just want to say I respect your opinion and I still love your videos, I just like to share my opinions too much. Also I would recommend Judgemental Critter's channel, yes she can be quite harsh, but that's more after the stuff came out about Rooster Teeth's terrible practices. In her videos it's very clear she loves RWBY, even with their Flaws. I'd recommend her video "What Ruined RWBY?" I know the title sounds harsh, but it's actually quite insightful, her having a retrospective look with her time loving RWBY, it's quite nice to watch even with its harsh title.
Edit: I will also admit I like Calixyn's videos on song analyse, yes she made a video on the Queerbaiting Controversy I personally didn't agree with, but I respect your opinion. Also I'm not a Jaune hater.

I have watched both of them and i witnessed the shift into rwders in them both firsthand. I don't care for what their takes are at this point, i stopped caring about critics a long time ago, which is why now i'm calling out this kinda shit. Because there are ways to point out flaws without doing the "the show sucks, but" dance every single time. I'm just tired of this bad faith criticism and gathering clicks via hatedom. Like what JC is doing all the time. Pissing into the void and the void answering.
Also, i have my personal petty beef with Cal. Namely, that she hates Oscar and keeps screeching how he's useless. *shrug* I'm allowed to not like people that hate my faves, me thinks.
As for cast bloat, again, i will explain why minor characters are needed in the story and how to make them more relevant in later videos. So far you can already see me sowing seeds with Velvet popping in once in a while, for example. And i've seen a lot of people with bad takes about the main cast being 8 people, so that's why i explained why it's not a lot actually. Short version: your analysis is right, it feels like bloating bc they aren't given more connection with the story/characters and don't add enough to them. And that's what we're going to address later on.
      Thank you for the comment!

Honestly, I don't mind Jaune being the main character, that doesn't take away the focus of Ruby being the protagonist. Which they are two different narrative roles.
Since Jaune is born from an old-fashioned legacy, it would make sense that his knowledge of weapons are only about white weapons such as swords, lances and knives. Which he suffer a lot of whiplash everytime he sees a modern weapon turn into a gun and not a fan of the loud noises in his first days in the academy.
And I didn't know Jaune was the 3th elder sibling, which make sense that he gets along with Ruby and how he can deal with Nora's hyperactived shenanigans.
And because of his lack of confidence, I can understand him being "dense" with Phyrra's hints but then again she isn't exactly good with such advances either.
Thank you! Have a good weekend!

Hi, this is very off topic but kinda on topic and probably not coherent but I needed somewhere to rant about my brain-rot and figured, eh, might as well do that here. Also, I would love to hear your thoughts on this (in general not just to Sunny, to anybody). And yes, this is still a work in progress and mostly brain-rot, sorry.
So there's the ASOPS that Ironwood has right, and the original concept for this group was ASOPS but Beacon, but recently I've had some new idea's about it. The thought process is that it's a group of 5 huntsman who were all really close with their teams, but all had something horrific happen to them after they graduated one of the schools and so their teams disbanded. Someone (I have no idea who at this point, maybe Jaune depending on what happens, or possibly Ozpin previously), found them and brought them together. None of them were the leaders of their groups and all of them, while quiet capable were still kinda ragtag, in an almost season 4-6 Jaune way. They all have wildly different backstories and personalities, but still came together with help. They're arcs focus on healing from their past trauma's and inspiring the people who are broken down and maybe not as well liked. I like the idea of them not really being 'spot light' people, a contrast to the ASOPS in a way. They aren't the best of their fields, but they use the skills they do have uniquely, I kinda want them to feel almost like 'grown up' versions of Jaune in a way.
I present to you, The 5 Suns. They are based on the Aztec myth of 5 suns and 5 worlds, each ending in a different way. Their semblances and trauma's reflect those endings.
(I'm still working on all of the semblances, so if you have idea's, please give them to me :D).
Sage Evergreen - 5th Sun - Ends in an earthquake
Selva Crimson (Crim) - 4th Sun - Ends in a flood of bl00d rain
Whindly Burant (Whin) - 3rd Sun - Ends in a monkey plague thingy and a huge wind to get rid of said monkeys
Charlie Saffron - 2nd Sun - Ends in a drought, and then a rain of fire
Ahumatez Indiga (Tez) - 1st Sun - Ends in a rain of jaguars

@@sunnysunsinsI kinda disagree with you to ngl, like yeah Jaune is probably not a self-insert, but the main difference between all the other characters and Jaune is that none of the voice actors have much say on what happens in the plot and writing, meanwhile Jaune is voiced by one of the main writers. Not to mention he gets so much screen time and development compared to the literal protagonist of the show that it’s obviously going to raise eyebrows. Even in the most recent volume Jaune was able to tag along with RWBY and get his whole time thing which heavily revolves around important characters for the plot and lore for wonderland. This isn’t hating your take by the way!! Just explaining that you can’t really blame people when they say Jaune seems like a screen hog for Miles to project onto

    • @sunnysunsins
      @sunnysunsins  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@@-iceywater-7218 Yeah, i get that take, (also this is what criticism is, thank you for demonstrating)
But also, he feels like the 5th main, after the RWBY girls. All 4 of them had their own stuff going on - volume 1 had a LOT of Weiss focus, for example, 2 had Blake's, late 3 was Pyrrha's time, and starting with 4 there was a whole carousel of plotpoints with focus. Jaune is just one bit among them. I guess, if you take it out in a vacuum, it would feel like he has more than the girls... Hm, i'll actually take that thought and think on it a bit more for a later video. Thank you for the comment
