Then I learned how unbelievable that was. Eventually I started watching more of his highlights, then I started tracking his team stats and scores. Finally, this year, I'm actively watching most Dodgers games. This man's greatness single-handedly turned me into a baseball fan.

Remember He got injured last year and had his second Tommy Jones surgery. It is just a miracle that he started playing from the beginning of this season. Moreover, he needed to handle many changes and difficulties including the huge scandal of his former interpretor. He is mentally tough, too.

I think it might be hard just cause he's a DH only this season, He'd have to hit like 60 homers and maybe steal 30-40 bases to have a chance to win MVP. Which anything is possible for him, but he'd have to have an insane offensive year.

Now since he's not playing 2-way this season, a lot ppl including voters will be relieved and you won't see many ppl voting for him unless he has a historic offensive season like the 60 HRs and 30-40 SB that I said. I don't wanna doubt him but it's still insanely hard to hit 60 HRs. I can see him getting 50 HRs and 30 SB tho since he was on pace to when he was also pitching and on a terrible team with no protection.
