After Aizen said 'I refuse', his next sentence means 'If I join you, I'll be the boss, and it's pitiful to see you as my subordinate.' I think it's a really cool dialog, but the translation seems failed to show the meaning of the brilliant trash talk.
Seeing it in the manga was one thing, but seeing it finally animated is otherworldly. The ost, va's, animation, colors, flashbacks, directing, and more came so well together. This was Peak
I've waited so long to see this animated, and, it has gone above and beyond my expectations. The added in between flashbacks of Yhwach and Yama from 1000 years, Aizen's return, the voice acting, THE ANIMATION. Every piece of it was perfect
Them letting Aizen have screen time in the anime makes me so happy. It was simply implied that they had a conversation in the manga so seeing both of the big bads of the series ACTUALLY CONVERSING was insanity to me. Both Aizen and Yhwach are two of the most iconic and foreboding villains in all of anime/manga, so this added scene was just icing on the cake of one of the best animated fights I've ever seen.
It's interesting how different the two of them are when you think about it. Yhwach's entire thing is stolen power, everything he has he has taken from someone else, including the quincies. Aizen on the other hand wanted to evolve, to build his own strength. On that same note, the sternritter in general don't respect their powers because they either got them from Yhwach or stole them, while the shinigami's powers come from within themselves and they can't ever wield their true power if they don't respect it.

I will agree that Yamamoto’s Bankai is the one that truly delivers the most on expectations and hype. Not to say the others don’t but his Bankai is absurdly powerful, when his Shikai alone was already OP.
Sternritter "Y" is actually the twin brother of the other sternritter and they share the same letter. the one who got defeated by Kenpachi (Lloyd) has the aspect of the letter that allows him to copy one's strength and looks while the one who got defeated by Yamamoto (Royd) has the aspect that allows him to copy one's looks, spirit and memories. This was removed from today's episode
I can be mistaken, but I don't think they cut off the explanation about Y "The Yourself". I think they rearranged this revelation, the way they are doing with many sequences in this arc, to show it in another way in the next episode. If they don't show it, people can guess it, but for some it can be perceived as a plot hole.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate the gentle fatherly way Yama laid Kenpachi down? It showed how much he really cared. This whole part of the manga had me blubbering and I cried watching this too. I feel like I'm going to cry every time. 😩 I was blown away by the animation. It was absolutely gorgeous. What a moment to be alive man, this episode was fucking insane, I enjoyed this like a child, the true fans are just shocked with this final arc finally animated, waiting ten years almost to see this, it's just amazing and is beautiful how anime industry just reivindicated to the Bleach fans, love it.
Of the opponents Kempachi defeated, L was the Lloydroid who transformed into Kempachi, and R was the Lloydroid who fought Yamamoto; they are brothers, L copying his opponent's form, strength, and skills, and R copying his opponent's entire form, memories, and spirit.
Safe to assume since Royd copies the mind and memories, he also had all of Yhwach's battle experience and access to all types of quincy techniques (except techniques specific only to Yhwach, which would be Loyd's ability).

I like how blond hair dude(won't spoil his name) underestimated Yama's bankai saying that small sword is his bankai, a callback to how Byakuya reacted to Ichigo's Tensa Zangetsu in SS arc.
They decided to cut this little backstory from the manga but there is actually two "Y" sternritter, Lloyd Lloyd and Royd Lloyd, both twins I think. both have very similar abilities except the difference is that Royd (who fought yama) could mimic memories, and Lloyd could only copy strength. Royd was already very strong so he just needed to have yhwachs memories to complete his impersonation. hope this helps.

I'm pretty sure right after the original Yhwach appears in the manga the next episode starts telling the story of the twins, so I think they might have that part at the beginning of episode 7 next week.
I am a father of 4 boys who wanted me to watch Bleach back in the day with them. We all had our own favorites and it was something we could do together and had a good time arguing about who's character was strongest. It was easy to watch when the boys were young living in the house. Now their out of the house in the military and I have to hide from my wife to watch anime. I told them boys not to sleep on Yamamoto, he has always been my favorite.

Each of Yamamoto's abilities in English sound so sick Zanka no Tachi translates to Longsword of the Remnant Flame East is Kyokujitsujin which means Rising Sun Edge. It's the ability where he puts the heat on the edge of his blade West is Zanjitsu Gokui which means Remnant Sun Prison Garb. The cloak of flames around him South (my personal favorite) is Kaka Jūmanokushi Daisõjin which means Great Burial Ranks of the 10 Trillion Fire Dead. Where he raises the dead North is Tenchi Kaijin which means Heaven and Earth End in Ashes. This ability is a slash that incinerates everything in the direction out of existence entirely. Basically a f*ck everything in that direction lol

Byakuya always had my favorite Bankai, but Yamamoto’s might’ve just passed it. Especially with the East form when he seals ALL of those flames into his sword.
Whaaaaaat a peak animation. I have already gone through the whole series of manga. but there is nothing compare to the anime that kubo and his studio team just did. it was hype, inspiring and completely blow my mind. please keep us entaintaining for the rest of episode.

As nodt opened up a a hole in byakuya’s stomach…they really did an awesome job with yamaji’s bankai. Cant wait till they do ukitake, kyoraku and kenpachi’s bankai. Also yhwach’s fight with Aizen.

There are twin brothers who uses the same "Y - Yourself". First is the older brother who kenpachi killed was "Loyd Lloyd". He can transform himself into the exact physical likeness of another person. He can transform himself into the exact physical likeness of another person. His version of the technique allows him to replicate the memories and personality of this individual, flawlessly impersonating his target.
This episode was a real emotions rollercoster, it took us from hype to happiness and finish it with sadness. But I felt like they disrespect the GOAT with that death 😥 😥 😥
And after he activates his bankai, you can see a bunch of heat haze (only noticed it on my 4k 50in) Also you can see it radiating the heat haze aura around bankai release!
