Nice job,if you want to see some crap jobs drive around Llantwit Major,cheap materials,20 youngsters crawling all over the job,bad cuts on angles so gaps all over the place and an inch to two inches high where it joins the curb, so they then use cement or tarmac to slope on to the curb which over time falls apart. I would definitely give you a call if you get back into drives when i'm ready to get it done.

Nice job. I found using a pigment ie charcoal in my cement mix for the edge blocks makes a better job.
I used something called joint it which is for patios charcoal colour worked perfectly 👍🏴

One thing to point out, black woven fabric membrane isnt technically permeable, you need a non woven geotextile white colour

We used the wrong product on a big job….long story short, we had to rip it all out and start again!! Block paving was down and everything

so the paving goes down on the stone not sand
This was a permeable driveway so it had to be clean stone and by the way I do never recommend sharp sand for pavers I prefer to use stone dust compacted 👍🏴
Its usually recommended that there is 3 foot between the curb and any obstructions ie pavement furniture for people with disabilities to pass safely
Obviously some moany neighbour somewhere even though I was polite to everyone who past and chatted

No need for them rails there's a quicker way but each to our own ways but that membrane which is the wrong one is not free draining as I found out through my own experience and it's not supposed to be there as a weed membrane as weeds don't grow up through paving they germinate in joint its there to separate sub grade from clean stone but sure you know that also I like to put another membrane between sub base and 6mm Bedding layer but anyway we each have our own ways good job, happy new year 👍
