This was a fun video, again if it was mine "with how much I like Fordson's" I would definitely button it up and keep it as a running old original E27N, drive it for fun or use to pull start other Fordson's
Sounds good. I’d keep t an original runner in its working clothes. Maybe pull sump to clean and check bearings. If bearings are a little loose they maybe have shims which can be removed to get clearance back to specs. Just my thoughts. Oh, and we all often stick more money into these projects than they are worth.
@@joesgarage8372 If i could find it i have a book on old engines, I mean real old as the book doesn’t even have model A Fords in it. But one thing i remember reading was that engines without drilled cranks and pressure fed bearings call for a slightly tighter bearing clearance than pressure fed ones.
O vídeo ficou muito especial com a presença do gato , maravilhoso
I’m really enjoying this E27N and it’s progress
@davidrobertson376 yeah it's something a bit different from the E1A's
The problem is trying to find parts for it

@jankotze1959 the engine runs ok so I'll definitely keep it

@oldamericaniron5767 I don't think I'm going to do a full restoration on it but I will clean it up and find the missing parts
@oldamericaniron5767 if found gaskets for the sump and bellhousing so I probably should open it up and have a look in there

@oldamericaniron5767 that would probably be right.
It's not going to be an easy engine to repair or even find parts for so better be safe than sorry
Getting a cat scan to avoid a cat a strophe they mean well.
@Stephen-ou4sy hahaha they do
