More discussions about separation anxiety would be great.

I started watching your channel like a week before I got my cavapoo baby, your videos are so helpful. Mine stays 9 hours by herself during the day for now. I will put her in dog training/ daycare soon. She sleeps most of day 😂 and only start whining 1-2 hrs before I come back. I think she senses it must be time😂. I watch her all day on my blink camera. I think my separation anxiety is worse than hers tbh 😂.
I do make sure I give her plenty attention when I’m home to make up for my time away.
Literally the best puppy I could have asked for 🥰.

Same! I think my separation anxiety is worse than Sophie''s too! I love the idea of using the camera to check up on her, that's so cute! I'm so happy to hear that you love our videos and I wish you and your puppy all the best! 💜

Good luck as you work with Sophie to address her separation anxiety ❤ I have a Cavapoo… 18 weeks… and I need to begin our training so that we can leave her for a couple hours at a time and not stress our little pup out! I already have anxiety about her having potential anxiety! She follows me everywhere in our home, so I know this may be an uphill battle. Thank you for sharing your experience with Sophie❤️

Thank you, I think we'll both need it! And good luck with your fur baby too, it's so good that you're starting early. 😊

My Cavapoo 7 months suffers from it too. I can feel bad when I leave sometimes. I'd love more videos on tips.

Hay nessa I know maybe it would help if you got a blanket Sophie can put it in her crate while you're gone . she will smell your scent on her blanket maybe that will help Sophie
anxiety? Also I know they have cameras you can put in your home and you can talk into it while you're out and about shopping or working you can talk into it with your cell phone and Sophie could hear your voice through the speaker on the cam recorder on the camera. Thank you for another video love Sophie girl your apartment is also really cute hope everything works out for you guys God bless!🥰

Sophie's not usually into her blanket but I'll give it a try next time I go out. I'll have to add one of those cameras to my Christmas list lol!

I hope Sophie is feeling okay. My dog misses me when I leave her alone, too.

Yes, please. I have a 10mo cavapoo and he cannot handle more than maybe ten seconds in the crate. He's fine with it sleeping at night (and was fine as young one when I could fit it on a nightstand), but only if I'm in the same room (and he doesn't want to sleep in the crate if it's in my bedroom)

@@NessaandSophie Thank you...I got a Cavapoo, Dixie, about 2 months ago. I would say she has some separation anxiety. She sleeps through the night in a separate room from me but feel like I can't be gone longer than about 2 hours during the day. When I come in from being out and she's barking at me to let her out of the crate, I sit down and won't let her out until she quiets down. I don't want to reward her barking by instantly giving her what she wants which is out. Mindful at the outset about this breed and separation anxiety so trying to nip it in the bud. I live alone so there isn't anyone else around.
Nessa, I'm sorry you're dealing with this as you've been such a good dog mom. I get and feel the stress you feel when you're gone as I feel the same and don't like it. I want to feel I have some normalcy in my own life that isn't centered around Dixie. Look forward to your updates.
