Krika isn't just one of the best Bionicle sets ever, he's also one of the best Bionicle _characters_ ever as far as I'm concerned.

I like how old school the first moc is. 99% pure g1 pieces. Looks like you'd see him in one of those supplemental books that used contest mocs to represent a bunch of side characters/rahi

all of my mocs look like the pridak head guy XD i unfortunately stopped tearing apart my sets for mocs after Mahri
One of my fave sets ever, still remember getting him when the mistika first came out and feeling the same, he was just so unique and cool for a canister set
I agree. Krika is one of my all time favourite Bionicle characters ever and I’m currently finding all of the pieces to put him back together and proudly display him in my room. So it’s nice that you’re showing him some love. Good job ❤

Yo! That torso piece I ACTUALLY have! It's from Von Nebula, and it was really cool when I finally did a more custom torso with it, because it's rather broad and has not too many technic connection points (but it is SO much different than your standard CCBS torsos, so even if tricky, it's awesome)

HECK YEA MY BOY KRIKA GETS REPRESENTATION! He was one of my first Bionicle sets ever, and still one of the best. The way I revamped him was by adding Barraki mandibles to his head and replacing his gun with a squid launcher. He's already got fantastic Barraki vibes with his marbled colors, spiny insect/crustacean-like design, and the same eye pieces the Barraki used, so I just completed the aesthetic to make him an honorary Barraki.
The incorporation of galador limbs into the hellspawn moc is amazing
The Riotflea Moc has some very unique shoulder and hip connections that I haven't seen before. Didn't realize you could/should put ball joints into those pieces and the discs making up the elbows also look fairly unique
I absolutely adore Krika's design and very soon after getting the set I did a minor revamp to give Krika Inika style limbs (and remove the launcher, I was never a fan of projectile play features). With flexible limbs you unlock a ton of new poses and you end up with a regular set that feels and plays like a titan set.
Lol now that you mention it I remember removing the launcher on mine as a kid too, It does word a bit better without it
Also, I'd like to see more videos in this style involving Hero Factory, there's still a lot of sets that could be talked about

Krika has been my favorite set since release. I am devastated I lost him during my move years ago. Ive been meaning to buy him again.
I remember getting Krika blades and Terrain Crawler's Carapar's head the same time. Nocturn species DH having these blades was
so fun to make!
A simple way to revamp Krika would just be to replace the fragile 08 hand sockets with CCBS ones, and for the Av-matoran limbs you could just replicate it with CCBS and get more articulation aswell
Imagine getting CCBS Skull warrior bone pieces in black, the would work perfectly for a Krika revamp.
Easily one of the best later stage bionicles! I wish we got a whole wave of characters in this style like how older makuta tended to all have the same design but swapping out colours and a few cosmetic differences.
Immediately got inspired to build a MOC. Probably the fastest I've ever finished one too lol

0:54 i see a crack in that Axle Connector piece that one thing i don't like about this and the phantoka waves the balljoint and connectors can break

If I had a nickel for every time a bionicle villain was mainly white with red highlights I would have 2 nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice

Lego did a contest about the next Glatorian. I combined Nuparu and Krika. I thought it was awesome and looked like a proper Toa. Sadly, lost the picture and didn't win the contest.
Kinda sad I didn't get my time under the light with my Makuta Tokura, which is basically Krika fused with toa

Would you consider making one of these types of videos featuring the set "Nocturn" from the Mahri Nui wave. I bought one recently and it's a pretty cool set with a lot of unique pieces that have tons of potential usage in MOCs.

Krika is a perfect set? I dunno if I can say that when every single socket piece is at risk of breaking when you build with them, 2008-2010 sockets were sooooo fragile. Core design is great but building with the parts is half the fun, you know?
