I rationalize and fund my collecting exactly the same way! :) I try to find 1 or 2 stand out pieces (either precious metals or designer items that I know sell well) that will pay for the rest of the items. Sometimes I sell them.. sometimes I hang on to them but I know that the value is there at least. That way I know I am not mindlessly spending- and what I find dictates how much I spend. ♥♥♥
