ONE of your best videos ever Dawn!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! The fact that you outlined in a top ten manner helped me learn like a regular-novice-pro. HA! I just made that term up. Cheers 🥂!
Thank you for your hard work, super collection!! I have the same crystal blue glass beads, plus one in clear and I think a pale yellow. I got them from a 90 year old ladies estate, I’m sure the pieces were her mothers. Plus quite a few long flapper glass beads. Now and then I find the delicate large sq. or rectangle blue stoned rhodium coated delicate necklaces. Recently I ran across a Art Deco brooches, I added a large green rose uranium glass and rhinestones brooch. It’s a odd looking brooch, didn’t know what I had, put it in a fb group, within minutes a lady wanted to buy it…when I was told in the group it was highly collectible and uranium glass and to use a black light, the woman stopped communication. Little by little my Art Deco collection is growing
Hi Dawn. Art Deco is one of my favourite periods in the history of jewelry. All your pieces are GREAT! They're really timeless! Look beautiful and modern! Thanks a lot for the video.💖
These pieces are fabulous, Dawn! It would be outstanding if you would also include a resell range of value for each piece you show. I love watching your videos, but I’m always left wanting that little bit more. Thanks so much❤️
Thank you so much, absolutely stunning collection. I love how you present each piece and your wardrobe. The earings and necklaces look so lovely on you with your hair up. It helps to see the jewellery on to see the effect. Stay safe.
Love love love I have been in the jewelry business for 45 years. My first love is fine jewelry my second love is fashion jewelry, and now that I am retired from fine jewelry. I have pursued my love for fashion jewelry at this time I frequent a lot of vintage shops, antique shops and my eyes always out for special items the jewelry that you share and your knowledge for the jewelry is very impressive ❤

I find the Art Deco era most recognizable. Not sure why. In love with that gold cocktail ring you shared at the end. Would like more info on Art Deco chandelier earrings. Bigger the better. Today's video was spot on, lots of great timeless information. Always learning.
What a beautiful collection! Be still my heart, 💗 that Tourmaline Scarab ring is so lovely! Also really loved the Boucher earrings. I need more geometries in my life, but this video has made me appreciate my small collection of Art Deco jewelry even more. 😍
Really appreciate you sharing. Just getting into vintage jewelry because I found a small lot of it! Trifari, Llinson, and others unidentified. Loving the pretty shines I've discovered so far!
Hi Dawn, My favourite era for jewellery. I am lucky enough to own a few pieces but my flapper necklaces are my absolute favourite! Great content, thankyou. Take care and stay Fabulous! ✌💜 xx
@@WaltzingWithcrystals Another Flapper Fan! Fabulous! I think my love for them is the fact they can be worn in so many different ways, as Dawn demonstrated. Good luck finding your perfect flapper necklace. ✌ xx
Very informative. Noticed this has been 3 years old. Are you still providing the service to id vintage jewelries. I have few that I have collected 35+ years go and could use help to identify them.
Great, Great video!!! I have kept ALL of my jewelry since approx 1980 because found styles came back in style & so happy that I did. I have ALWAYS loved a beautiful rhinestone item and have many. Upon finding you on TH-cam I started going through all of my jewelry collected and going to start wearing again thanks to you!!!
Thank you so much. I have been learning so much from your videos. I have some glass bead flapper necklaces that need restringing- do you have any suggestions for materials? Thanks.
You are so welcome! Silk bead thread, it has the tiny needle attached to it, here's a link: amzn.to/3n3Rv6U Check the links on my Amazon page, or go to your local bead store.. Thank you so much for watching Xo~Dawn
Loved your video Dawn, beautiful pieces! I have a question about the blue crystal necklace. How can you tell it’s Deco and not from the 50s/60s? I see them listed from different time periods.
Good question! It has a clasp used in the deco era, and is on it's original fine silver chain (They stopped doing that by the 60's) and most importantly, the facets are different on earlier beads and there are tiny rock crystal rondelles alternating between the blue ones. Thank you so much for watching! xo~Dawn
Okay, I wasn't so much into collecting vintage jewelry as making jewelry, and I'm still on the fence about it, but thinking I might try to put together a small collection
i LOVE to match up vintage brooches with flapper necklaces and attach the brooches. Also have pieces waiting to "marry" or adopt to other pieces. Sadly, Mr Whoo pulled the plug on my bling budget - I want to keep everything and not sell!
Thank you for sharing your collection of jewelry! Loved it, but the sharpness was blurry and difficult to follow. I'll tune in again, maybe it will improve with time!
Agree! In the newer videos the amount of light is correct! I'm thinking about redoing this one with the right camera settings~ THANKS so much for writing and commenting :)
Flapper necklaces are one of the most iconic necklace styles of the 1920's and were popular from the 1920- 1940's. They were essentially long pearl or bead necklaces which could be sautoirs, lariats, or multi strand necklaces amongst others.

I cannot focus on what you’re saying as much as I’d like to, because the movement of your hands is making me feel queasy.
