Got your package but waiting to open it when I have time. I have been entertaining my 3 year old grandson so mama and daddy have quiet time with my new granddaughter!
Hattie Carnegie born Australia 1889 died 1956 she was a self made woman and started working at Macy's at 13 yrs old where she dressed hats and mannequins.
I love the Hattie Carnegie because I used to wear my grandma’s pieces in college. I also love your beautiful earrings. Plus the patent pending gold-tone ruby red movement earrings were also something I would wear back in the day because the more unique the better! Great haul!

That seed bead cuff is so beautiful and well made, also love your earrings!! Bog oak, whitby jet, vulcanite, gutta percha will all leave a brown streak against a piece of unglazed tile (i've also used the back of a plate that's unglazed). Gutta percha has a very salty taste and vulcanite will smell like rubber when warmed with hand (no water). It kinda seems like the pendant is bakelite though, not sure? Glad to see the new platform is taking off, good luck! I know you said you are just getting over being sick, but just wanted to say to take care of yourself and take it easy :) We all appreciate what you do for us and want you to be happy and healthy foremost! 🤗
There may be exceptions but I'm 99.9% of the time a sterling silver polisher. I do not enjoy the appearance of tarnished jewelry. 😮 I think the black floral pendant is genuine jet (coal) as opposed to french jet (glass) . I went through a jet curiosity phase but rarely found any.
Thanks for all the information. I just started reselling costume jewelry on Ebay - I use to sell vintage kitchen items and post cards. You used terms I didn't know anything about previously.
Noooooo don’t polish the silver. Like you said , leave it up to the buyer, I always do that. I signed up on district about a week ago, how will I know if I’m accepted? I guess I should go back on there and take a look! ❤ Thanks for a great video!
