Just wanted say a massive thank you to Alan darkside body and paint and Darkside performance for the incredible work they have done on my mk6 golf r, to turn around a massive list within 3weeks is dedication. The late night hours put in to get this amazing finish is pure class. I would recommend anyone who needs any body work or mechanical work to get in touch. I want to thank everyone for there kind messages. Only 800 mk6 r where produced in the uk and God knows how many are left, she been injected with a new life, a second chance, pure grey, Darkside thank you again for the magic 🎩
@mazlogistickskhan3639 Hey quick question on your front brake rotors… Why do they seem so much smaller than stock? Are those different calipers as well? My r has the 345x30 in the front and they appear much larger than yours
Looks great, it’s just a shame that after all that hard work the Rear Main Seal will probably fail, it felt like all I ever did to my MK6 was fit Rear mains and PCV’s!🥴

Very nice result. You know you lot over there should look at grey imports from here in Australia. No salt here in winter.... I'd never buy a personal import from the UK for exactly the reasons you discussed. On a side note, my Passat creaks from the front end under brakes when coming to a stop. Anything that typically causes it? I had a mechanic check for signs but he said he couldn't visually see anything wrong. I'm stumped. I sprayed WD40 on a few things to see if that'd help but nah...
@@DarksideDevelopments is there much you can do with my 2014 a5 2.0 177 bhp fwd on 160k miles? Feels a bit slow and gear ratio is not great. Wanting some sort of a remap for it not sure if stage 1 or stage 2. Thanks

Na mate stock rotors on there. Maybe because I'm running 19inch, is probably why they look small. I've changed the setup now to 362mm with 4pots now.
The finish on that paint job is perfection.

Those were new supplied by some Xenon company, pre-stone chipped I think but good try pulling our work down! Customer was getting replacements.
The car looks beautiful! you have a very good camera and lighting set up. That camera would’ve picked up a spec of dust on the car
