- What a journey the VW Golf R MK7.5 has been on. I bought the car crash damaged and unregistered, the damage seemed pretty bad but the chassis was straight. After replacing the airbags, wings, bonnet, bumper and many more parts, i started the modifications to attempt to make it quicker than my Lamborghini Gallardo on a 1/4 mile. @awesomecars1 provided the parts & @MalloryPerformance tuned it and it turned out to be a monster!

Yep, not a very wise move showing his house. I always feel he should meet the new owner somewhere else, or even pick the new owner up and driving them to a nearby retail park or somewhere else to make the video. I know Mat likes to get their first impressions on camera though so maybe just pixelate the house number.

I own a Mk7 tsi 1.4
It has been standing for like two years now. I was in an accident and damaged my dsg gearbox.
I managed to get a 2nd hand one but I am still saving for the labor and other things I wish I could do to it. Infact I wish I could make it like this...
But it's hard when you don't have financial muscle.
You just brought that VW R to life man I respect that my dream car is also a VW GTI how I long to have one

Is this a daft question - was the car a write-off? I had a car that got a tiny dent, economic write-off from my insurer, bought it back but couldn't get ANYONE to insure it so had to scrap it anyway!
